Annette was an angel. I've been to many sound baths but never one as all encompassing with so many instruments. Annette took time at the beginning of our session to explain the structure of the evening and introduce us to all her instruments. Her singing in the beginning and end was ethereal and I felt as if I had journeyed to another plane in the one+ hour we spent together. I wish I lived nearby and could take Annette's sound bath every weekend. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

this is such a wholesome space that is so clearly supported by the local community - it's personal and warm, and if I ever move to Moab, I would be honored to be a part of this community regularly and would encourage others I knew to do the same. thanks to Jill I believe was her name for being such an informed instructor :-)

After a 12 hour car ride, Crystalβs Vinyasa class was just what I needed! Then, I took Courtneyβs bar class and it was a great workout. I always enjoy trying other yoga studios when I travel. Loved both classes and the instructors were great! Very friendly and inviting studio.

Iβve practiced at here a handful of times and always have a fantastic experience! Courtney, Crystal, Jill and Carlie are all great instructors! I love the specialty classes they host (like puppy yoga, yoga in the vineyard and acro yoga) highly recommend for any new or well practiced yogi!

We are experienced yogis who have visited a number of other yoga studios. We arrived before the instructor (Alex), who, upon seeing us sitting on the bench, greeted us not with "Good morning" or "welcome" but "do you live here?" What does that matter? As it was, we were visiting from out of state.
It was listed as a vin yin class, but the only real vin we did were sun sals - ugh, monotonous! I gave a two because she did throw in an arm balance, which I appreciate. Otherwise, it was way too much money for a drop-in class with a seemingly inexperienced instructor who couldn't give a care if we were there or not. Nor, apparently, did any of our fellow yogis. Where is the yoga spirit and sense of community? NOT at Desert Power Yoga!

I have been practicing yoga for several years and Desert Power is by far the least inviting studio I have practiced.
I was traveling and paid for a drop in class with Alex. Upon entering, I was not greeted with a hello or a smile or a welcome. In fact, no one in the studio acknowledged my presence. I was under the assumption that all yogis are a family. Apparently this is not the norm with your studio.
I'm wondering if Alex is a 200 ryt at best as she was the least experienced instructor I have ever practiced under.
I doubt I will return to Moab but if I do, your studio will not be on my yoga list. Ashame.
On the plus side, I also participated in the sound bath the following evening which was phenomenal. Unfortunately, your studio cannot be judged on this.

I enjoyed the small class vibes, I absolutely LOVED the flow we did and felt very stretched and also challenged. The hot yoga wasn't unbearably hot but between the temp and the movements enough to get a good sweat. And the instructor was very friendly. We hope to return for more classes as we come through town.

I had a great experience at Desert Power Yoga. Finding a good yoga studio can be challenging, especially when visiting a new place. Desert Power Yoga stands out because of its welcoming community, excellent teachers, and well-balanced classes. I felt at home right away, thanks to the friendly teachers and fellow yogis. Jill Kβs power yoga class was a highlight, combining a strong practice with insightful wisdom. I would definitely become a regular if I lived in Moab.

I walked into Desert power yoga needing some restoration for my body while hiking and mountain biking in the area. Over three days I went to seven classes. Every teacher and every class provided structured sessions where the teachers always warmly provided options and the possibility to do exactly what you needed for your body. I especially love the class that ended with a community acupuncture session. Thank you Joann, Valerie, Jillian, Caroline, and Courtney for a wonderful experience at your beautiful little studio that has a vibrant and friendly local community. I recommend Desert power yoga to anyone in Moab!

I love everything about practicing yoga here. The instructors are warm + friendly, the space is welcoming, and the offerings are exactly what the community needed. I love every teacher I've ever had here, it is always such a welcoming environment, and it feels like a place that really creates a community in a town that can feel geared more to tourists than locals. MDPY doesn't create a distiction between the two, had a wide variety of classes, and supports great local charities.

Totally recommend. Iβve been practicing at Desert Power Yoga for about 10 months now, since right after the studio opened. I love the all the different teachers, the classes, the small class sizes, and the space. I appreciate the little things, like moist towelettes for savasana and good heat lamps for hot yoga. Iβm grateful that I can find a class to suit my needs every day, and that all the instructors provide a range modifications. As someone whoβs practiced yoga for 15+ years, in a number of different studios in major US cities β I love this little local studio, the owner Courtney, and all the teachers!

I would recommend this class to people who have been practicing for years, or newbies alike. Thank you Courtney and Desert Power Yoga!
