My oldest daughter fell in love with dance at the age of 3. We moved around a fair bit when she was younger, which meant by the time we moved to St George she had already been at 4 different dance studios. With each move I studiously researched dance options for her, knowing that it would be a big part of her life and that the environment she would be in was so important to me. I share all that so that I can now say I have never seen anything like Diamond Talent before. Melinda, Brian, and their team care so deeply about the well-being and success (in performing but more importantly in life) of each of their students. Their proven track record of students with successful careers in the performing arts is very impressive, but even more impressive to me are the lessons they teach about teamwork, self worth and confidence, and contributing to the community and the world.

My oldest is studying every dance style available to her at Diamond, and my younger two are involved in their incredible preschool and beginning dance programs as well. As such, I have spent hours at the studio observing classes of all levels and my appreciation for their approach and environment has only grown. I will never send my children anywhere else. Diamond Talent is a true treasure and we are so grateful to have found them.

LOVE Diamond Talent! Can’t say enough good about our years at the studio! Not only is their dance technique beautiful, but they instill such a strong sense of kindness, work ethic, individual strength, and other life skills. We love the non-competitive atmosphere & enjoyment of the arts. The standard of excellence is high. The dances & costumes are age-appropriate, while the choreography is so fun and reflective of all the different styles they offer! Brian & Melinda (owners) really pour their whole hearts into the students!! My daughters feel so loved and at home at the studio. Also, their Christmas Show is not to be missed!! The highlight of our holiday season every year!! We can’t imagine spending our extra-curricular time anywhere else.

Such a great preschool!!! The teachers are kind and energetic. They plan super fun activities. My daughter especially loved when the older dance girls came to class dressed as dolls from Santa’s workshop. It was magical for her. The children get plenty of attention and care since there are several teachers there all day. One of the teachers is a puppeteer and the children are greeted and sent home each day by a cute dragon puppet ringing a school bell. Loved it!

Diamond Talent Preschool is amazing. Ms Melinda has a heart for teaching and gets to know each student one on one. All the teachers and aids are wonderful. Positivity, caring, kindness, and creativity are only a few words to describe this amazing place. My daughter doesn’t want to leave but heading to kindergarten.

LOVE this preschool. They have been extremely accommodating for my daughter who has extra needs. Amazing care, communication, and expectations. I can’t say enough good things about DT and the Larson family. I have kids ages 5-13 that have attended the preschool and dance classes here and it has always been such an amazing experience! The teachers are so kind and amazing. They love teaching all ages and they do such an amazing job at getting to know every child personally, to tend to their needs and to help them grow.

If you are looking for a great dance studio for your child it is well worth your time to check this studio out. Several alumni from this studio are performing on Broadway and all over the world! You can feel confident your child will learn correct and safe technique that will allow them to make a career out of the performing arts if they choose. Or even if they choose not to make dance or musical theatre a career, the training here will give them the life skills to do well at anything and be confident in themselves. It is a non-competitive studio that focuses on building each other up, doing your best, and teaching technique you would find in a studio in New York City. I take my own daughter here and I highly recommend!!

Diamond Talent has become such a huge part of our lives- I have 3 daughters in their program now! They are each very different personalities, and Diamond Talent has been amazing about finding the right path for each of my girls. And as far as performances- it doesn’t get better than this. All of their performances are top notch. They have very high standards and goals for these kids- and all of the performers rise to the occasion. It’s really amazing to watch.

Diamond Talent is the most INCREDIBLE dance studio in the St. George area! We tried other dance studios and this one is by far the best. The lessons taught are more than just dance, but apply to ALL aspects of life. Our daughter joined Diamond Talent at the age of 5. Her very first experience at Diamond Talent was their Triple Threat summer program. After completing this, and other summer camps, we chose to enroll her in their performing company in her age category. We discovered, even at this young age, the Diamond Talent performing company experience offered her more than excellent training in dance (ballet, jazz, and tap) and musical theater/voice. Diamond Talent offers all of its students, from the youngest 3-4 year old to their graduating seniors, a non-judgmental and emotionally supportive environment in the setting of creating beautiful art through performance. The performing company experience cultivates an environment of teamwork, without competition. In this setting, the student develops confidence, discipline, and a strong sense of individuality. This confidence and discipline is essential when navigating life outside of the studio. Their supportive environment also nurtures a strong sense of family in the children and young adults. The young adults are mentors to the younger children, and understand this important role during their training with Diamond Talent. As a result, the younger children are encouraged and inspired by the discipline and talent of the young adults (all of which were developed at the studio). This active mentoring is on full display during their live performances throughout the year, when the performing companies all come together as a team to put on an amazing show for the public. Students and instructors at Diamond Talent come from diverse backgrounds and life experiences, which also enhances the training experience for the students. Over the last several years, our daughter has not only developed in her dance and musical theater skills, but she is also developing into a disciplined, responsible student and leader. She has experienced a true sense of belonging and views Melinda and Brian as her second parents. We are so grateful to have Diamond Talent in our life!

As a mom of four girls that range from five years old to a senior in high school I would highly recommend Diamond Talent as a starting point for your child to start dance. All of my girls have been at this studio and it has not only taught them the love for dancing, singing, and preforming, but it has also given them confidence, and amazing life skills to use in this world. With a senior graduating this year from Diamond Talent I can say it’s been a fantastic experience it’s helped her not only become a amazing dancer and singer but also a confident, independent person. I highly recommend this studio! Three of my children have attended this studio starting about 18 years ago. Two of my children started as young teenagers and the last one as a little child. Because she received good technical training starting as a young child as well as the encouragement and belief in herself that is core to the Diamond Talent curriculum, she was able to get into The Juilliard School and after graduating, she was able to perform on Broadway in Cats and now is in Hamilton. Another daughter who attended now teaches voice. My son who attended for a few years enjoyed it very much and it gave him confidence in performing and being in front of people. Brian and Melinda take a personal interest in each student and work very hard to develop and encourage each child's uniques abilities and talents and strive to provide an atmosphere of cooperation and mutual support among the students. When living in other larger cities I tried out several other studios for my older children and none compare to what Diamond Talent has to offer in both the technical training, the many style of dance and musical theatre taught, and the positive environment for learning.

Our oldest daughter has been a student at Diamond Talent for 13 years. She has evolved into a beautiful performer and person inside and out. Just a few years ago our 5 year old started taking classes and our 8 year old son begged us to take a tap class and most recently be a part of the Musical Theater class. The training my children receive is the best of the best. I like that Diamond Talent is a noncompetitive studio. Each student is encouraged to do their best and be happy with who they are.
Not only do our children get the best dance and performing education, but they have also learned life lessons they will remember forever. Brian and Melinda care about each and every student at the studio. Students are encouraged to dream big and work hard so they can achieve any goal they want. They have helped our family get through some difficult trials by providing a loving, safe, and non-judgmental environment for my children to go to. Diamond Talent is like a second family for all of us.
