Great facility. The staff explained all the options and got my son signed off on auto belay in just a few minutes. There are four auto belay ropes so they can fill up but thatβs ok. The bouldering room is great and folks are very helpful. Got a punch card and will be coming back!

An okay climbing gym typical for a smaller town. Friendly staff and clean facilities, standard rental gear. The holds are old and worn which makes for some good challenges. The auto belays are strong and tight and therefore a little uncomfortable compared to standard versions but equally safe. The routes could have been better, they didn't seem graded properly or as flowy as other gyms I've been to.

I love the staff here!! They really contribute to a safe, enjoyable climbing experience! They helped me get everything set up and also teach the fundamentals in a safe, palletable manner. This gym is small, and the community is kinder than kind!!! What a great place to meet new friends to climb with and a great place to work on strength/technique as well!
10/10 will climb here again! And againβ¦..and again!!

The facility itself is nice, it's clean and there are good climbs. My issue is largely with one of the employees, who I assume is a manager. He wouldn't let my dad use his own harness, I guess because it didn't look familiar and he didn't understand it, or he thought it was too old. It's been used for years with no problems both outdoors and at this gym, perfectly fine for top roping. In and of itself, not a big deal, and they gave us a harness to use this time. Next, we told them two of us needed to be belay certified, they told us the next certification was at 6:00 (about 25 minutes from our current time), we just climbed in the mean time. 6:00 came and went, so about 6:10 we went to the front desk where all employees were on their phones and asked when the class would start. The employee I mentioned earlier says the next class is at 7:00. We said "seriously!?" He said "Yeah certification classes start at the top of the hour". We said, "But we told you we wanted to be certified at 6:00" he says, "You didn't come in to tell us you were ready". We didn't realize we needed to help him do his job since he couldn't be bothered to get off his phone for a few minutes, unbelievable. Thankfully one of the other employees was willing to come do our certification, but his smug arrogance is enough to keep me from coming back. That, and I don't love that they only have an all day pass. I don't want to stay all day, I just want to climb for a couple of hours.

This is a popular rock climbing gym. Facility was busy with customer traffic when we went around 8:00 PM, but everyone we ran into was friendly and professional. The gym was large enough to help it feel like it wasn't crowded.
The staff was super helpful and walked us through how to use the equipment and be safe. After we participated in the brief training on how to use the equipment, we were confident and felt properly trained enough to have a good time.
Equipment rentals are available and seemed reasonably priced (I have no experience with rock climbing gear outside of this).
I will be coming back!

We're just passing through Logan, stopped for a few hours of morning climbing. It's not a big place but they use the space well with many routes and the wall footprint overall. Never felt crowded but if there were 12 or more pairs of climbers it might get cozy. Loved how smooth the day pass setup is, loved the holds and permanent features on the walls! The inside/outside corners, the overhanging routes accessible for top-rope, and the hand crack were all great. I especially liked the... If you'd call them mini-jugs? Not flat on top like a crimp but not large, on some of the 5.10 routes, they were just right. Also some fun holds for kids and childish adults like us, dragonflies and dinosaurs and coral textured holds. Felt safe the whole time, good ropes, solid holds, deep mats for bouldering. Will stop again if we come this way again and would recommend to anyone.
Only complaint would be the lighting, and maybe the wall color combined with lighting because it made some hold colors hard to see, and the overhead lights sometimes casting shadows or poor contrast but otherwise perfect routes, holds, staff, and shop merchandise were all on point.

I've been a member here for like 3 months, and it's awesome! They do a great job at providing a variety of difficulties, and leave routes up for a good amount of time before changing them. Not too long, but not too short either. The staff is super nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. I love meeting other climbers here, too, it's a very friendly community.
I do wish there was a better weight-lifting area in the gym, though. It's pretty small and there isn't a lot of room or equipment. If you're wanting to lift regularly in addition to climbing, I'd probably go get a Planet Fitness membership or something. But as far as climbing goes, love this place!

My daughter and I visited here for the first time. (We usually climb outdoors, but it's too cold right now.) The cashier (who was very knowledgeable about the gym and cloning) rang us up for day passes then gave us a tour of the gym so that we would know what all was available. There is a small workout area. (Yoga was being taught there later, which was included in the day pass if we wanted to go to the class.) There are also areas for both bouldering and regular climbing, of course.
After a quick review/check to make sure we knew how to belay properly, we were ready to climb. If you don't have someone to belay you, there are a few auto-belay areas. The cashier showed us how to use them, and they are pretty fun.
We climbed for a couple of hours, then it got crowded. I think there was a climbing class or something going on. We left and ate some dinner, then went back for more climbing. With the day pass, you can leave and come back, which is really nice.

Our first time to Elevation Rock Gym. Went for our son's 11th birthday. He loves to climb. We had a great experience. They did not pressure you into doing anything. They were clear with their expectations and were very courteous. This place is for the serious climbers. It was good for us not so serious but wanting to climb anyways. Luke found out it was his birthday so he helped him belay a wall - Thank you Luke and Elevation Rock Gym!!!!!!!

Elevation Rock Gym is amazing! The climbing walls are fantastic and have so many different routes for all levels of experience! They also have bouldering which is a lot of fun as well! Our group decided to get a day pass, so we went for a couple hours in the morning, left for lunch, and then we were able to just walk back in, grab more gear, and continue climbing later in the afternoon which was such a fun option for us, and really helped us feel like we were able to get our money's worth of climbing in! They have the option to rent all the gear there, so even those who don't own the gear and may have no experience have the chance to try it out! You can take an hour long class right before you climb to become belay certified, or they have quite a few auto belay systems that have some very fun routes if you are going alone or if you don't want to have to take the belay certification class beforehand. All the staff there was amazing! They were so kind to help whenever we needed and were great teachers! They were fun to talk with and gave great pointers! We had such a fun time and would definitely recommend!! Can't wait to go again!

First time in the place, knowing very little about rock climbing, me and a friend learned alot and became confident in under two hours. The owner himself trained us on how to be comfortable and safe. Never felt rushed, or uncertain about anything he was teaching or what I was doing. Had a great time and am thinking about going weekly. Note: for Covid-19 it's not crazy, just different chalk and smaller groups :) very nice

The only thing I can say about my experience with Brian was WOW!! First off, let me give you some back story. I'm a 23 year old, and I learned to love climbing when I was 21. I've been doing my best to climb ever since, but one thing I never seemed to figure out was lead roping. I did some research and learned that if you do a lead roping class with elevation rock gym with at least 2 people and reserve ahead of time, at least a day. Not only is it $40.00 a person, and they supply the equipment needed to train you (other gyms charge $100.00 a person and require you bring all your own equipment) but the owner of the freaking gym is the guy to teach you. Like holy cow that's a sweet deal to learn how to lead climb. The next thing I want to compliment is Brian (The owner) himself. The dude knows his stuff, first of all. Second he was so kind and understanding with teaching us how to lead climb. Not only did he give us a lot of good information, but he also gave us plenty of time to learn at our own pace. I 100% recommend this class and gym for anyone looking to climb.

This is a quality indoor climbing place. They have a decent amount of top ropes, two bouldering areas, well-set and clearly-marked routes (not sure how often they get changed), and some basic exercise equipment. I think they have a small lead area, but I've only been there with my kids so I haven't tried it.
They still have wavers to fill out, belaying tests, chalky air, a very specific method for pulling in slack when you're belaying, etc. But that's pretty standard fare. If that kind of thing is going to bother you, you probably won't like any indoor climbing place.

Smaller gym. It's got some cool training equipment and my wife liked the yoga. Everyone brings their small kids and let's then run free. I wish the management would do something since it's posted you cannot leave your kids unattended. I'm lucky I did fall on them while bouldering.
