The Kaysville gym is adequate. I enjoyed the employees and the trainers there. Corporate however is a complete fraud. I had a shoulder injury and canceled my membership 15 months ago. They refused to cancel it and keep charging my credit card, indicating that I put a freeze on the account or something and did not cancel my membership. Multiple attempts to cancel my membership have failed. Over billing, please keep an eye on your credit card. Very difficult to talk to customer service. I would highly suggest staying away from EOS.

I'd heard great things about this gym and have family friends who teach classes here. I came in to discuss getting a basic membership and was directed by Buddy, very kind and enthusiastic front desk worker, to speak to the manager Darrell. He told me it would be $300+ for a 3 month membership. When I said I'd have to think about it because it was more than I was expecting/wanting, he asked me how much I make in a month to prove I couldn't afford it. When I explained I'm the type of person to sit on a decision before pulling the trigger, he proceeded to barrate me for another 45 minutes, which included looking up other local gyms to prove I wouldn't find a better price and saying things like "so you don't see the value in a gym membership and even though you claim you want one, you really aren't ever going to come to the gym or make changes in your life". After insulting me to the point of tears, he got defensive and signed me up for a free 2-day trial that I said I wasn't interested in, and finished by calling over his assistant manager to flirt with me and finish setting up my account. I ended up having a panic attack and leaving in tears. I called the next day to cancel my free trial and remove my information from their records and got a promotional email 2 hours later.

Extremely Disturbing Experience with General Manager at Kaysville EŌS

I've been a regular at the Kaysville EŌS location and had always enjoyed the facility — until a deeply unsettling and inappropriate encounter with the General Manager, Darrell, on July 21, 2025 — my birthday.

While playing basketball, I was physically threatened by another member after calmly asking a simple question. There was no yelling, no aggression on my part. When I stood my ground to defend myself, things began to escalate — but not in the way you'd expect. Instead of de-escalating the situation, Darrell, the General Manager, approached me from behind in an aggressive and confrontational manner saying “I’m not going to let that happen” (with closed fist). I made it clear to him not to touch me and warned that I would defend myself if necessary. At this point who he is to EŌS is not known to me.

The member who initially threatened me soon apologized, acknowledging the misunderstanding. However, minutes later, Darrell returned — again from behind — and ignored my repeated requests to back off (I asked more than 15 times). Instead, he charged at me with a closed fist, asking me, “What are you going to do about it?” Several bystanders intervened, preventing the situation from turning physical. Only then did Darrell back down — but not before threatening to revoke my gym access and revealing he was the General Manager.

Since then, I’ve sent multiple emails to EŌS corporate and upper management, but have received no response or resolution.

When I attempted to return to the gym days later, Darrell was waiting near the front entrance, apparently asking members about me. Upon my arrival, he approached in a condescending, antagonistic manner and told me to leave. I informed him I had not received any notice from corporate about a ban or membership termination — and in fact, a friend who spoke to another manager confirmed that my membership was still active.

As soon as I realized Darrell was attempting to escalate the situation again, I left the premises immediately to avoid further conflict or misunderstanding.

Shortly after, as I was driving off I was informed that Darrell had called the police. Shockingly, he told them that I made him feel unsafe — a claim that feels dishonest and manipulative, especially given his behavior throughout the incident.

To current and future EŌS members:
Please exercise caution when dealing with Darrell at the Kaysville location. My experience has shown that he is capable of intimidation, aggressive behavior, and misusing his authority to retaliate when challenged. It's alarming that someone in a leadership position would behave this way — and even more concerning that corporate has remained silent on the matter.

I strongly urge EŌS Fitness to investigate this situation thoroughly and take the necessary actions to ensure the safety and fairness all members deserve.

Update: July 24th, 2025 EŌS Upper Management has made an effort to communicate. I was told they would call the police to clear things up and un restrict my pass. Waiting on more information regarding this situation.

Update: July 28th, 2025 - Earlier today I contacted EŌS’s Upper Management to get an update on the conversation had with Kaysville’s PD. I was later contacted by Kaysville Police. They called to make me aware that the Trespass has officially been lifted on their end and that I am allowed to come back.

As an older and bigger woman, going to the gym can feel intimidating. I’ve been to several gyms in different cities—Roy, Syracuse, and Bountiful—but none of them have made me feel as welcomed as EOS in Kaysville.

There are two young men on staff who consistently go above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. I don’t know their names yet, but I’ll be sure to update this review once I do. They’re always friendly, welcoming, and respectful, which has truly helped ease the awkwardness I sometimes feel in a gym setting.

Their kindness has made a big difference in my experience, and it’s one of the main reasons I keep coming back. Kudos to EOS in Kaysville for having such great team.

oh great heavens, where do I begin. The equipment, meh, but the staff. Namely Isaak. This cute bodacious hunk of man is an absolute unit in the workforce. Every-time I enter I am greeted with the utmost respect from this cutie patootie. Even while I’m lifting, I’ll look to my side, and see him clean better than anyone I’ve seen, it’s almost like he’s Mr clean with actual hair. As a powerlifter I have a lot of time between grueling sets. During this time, Isaak takes time out of his shift to ask if I need a spot or even simply just ask how my lift is going. My oh my does this man make me feel welcome at the gym. Not to mention he even tells me I’m looking big, even on the cut. This dude is the real deal. This absolute mammoth of a person deserves the utmost recognition and hell maybe even a raise.

Love going to the gym I especially enjoy how chill it is during the morning as I have social anxiety and having a less busy gym is ideal for me. Owen has been extremely helpful and nice guiding me throughout the gym. Have loved all the staff I have encountered both while signing up and actually attending the gym. Always well cleaned and stocked. I used to be a vasa member previously but I have enjoyed my eos experience more.

THIS GYM IS AMAZING!!! The staff is amazing especially Lincoln and Owen. They are actually the GOATS and always keep a friendly atmosphere. The gym is SUPER clean and I never have a problem getting my workouts done in a timely manner. BEST GYM IN UTAH!

Love this gym. Great basketball arenas. I usually attend Brindi’s BodyJam class. Kim(Eunmi)‘a body balance classes. The check in staff are always fantasic! Was greeted by Buddy this morning. Such a great team and location!

No matter what I do I can’t get them to stop billing me. Accounts have been cancelled, multiple times and yet they keep billing. The gym is a joke, the equipment is moldy and rusty and for the life of me I can’t figure out why anyone would go here.

I’ve had nothing but bad experiences at the Kaysville EOS Fitness. The staff here are consistently unprofessional and have a habit of harassing guests, especially when I bring female friends to work out. It’s extremely uncomfortable and completely unnecessary. This is a stark contrast to my experience at the Orem location, which I absolutely loved.

On top of the poor staff behavior, their membership cancellation process is a nightmare. I attempted to cancel my membership back in December, yet two months later, I receive a message demanding I pay dues. When I reached out to customer service for assistance, I got absolutely no help—just the runaround.

This location is poorly run, and I would strongly recommend avoiding it if you want a gym that respects its members and provides competent customer service. EOS Fitness as a whole needs to seriously reconsider how they handle customer experience at this location.

I been goin to the bountiful location for over a year now and have been to other locations but bountiful has harassed me every time I go in asking me for a picture they know who I am I work out there every other day and this is the only location that stops me is bountiful they won’t respect my religion

Cancelation is nearly impossible.

Called in to cancel my membership. I was told you can’t cancel over the phone and that I had to go on the app. Went to the app and could not log in online so called back and was told they actually could do it over the phone but a manager would have to call me back, never got a call back. Called again and was told to go into the location. Went into the location and was told I had to actually cancel online and that the mobile app could not process cancelations anymore. After pushing back they agreed to canceled my membership for me in person. Was reassured that no more charges would be coming out, and to contact them if it does.

I was then charged again, called them back to explain the situation and was then told I actually am forced to pay for one more month and that they have to pull one more month of payments out of my account. Signing up for a membership took me 20 minuets, to cancel took me three months, plus an extra month of charges. Filled a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to see if they can figure out how to make it easier to cancel a EOS membership.

There's nothing particularly wrong with the gym, everything is clean, staff seems friendly, just lacks equipment. If you're a casual lifter, or don't care about the fancy machines like belted squats, freemotion seated cable machines, or smith machines, then the gym will serve you well. Unfortunately I really like to utilize the above listed machines at other gyms, so when I go here, I have to change my exercise regime to work with the limited equipment variety.

It's an excellent Eos to workout at because it's never overcrowded. Benches and machines never take very long to open up. Only complaints are that they close earlier than other EOS Fitness locations and their foam rollers are always found in different places all over the gym.

The kid care is amazing at the Kaysville location. All the girls do a great job making sure all the kids have a good time and get paid lots of attention and they do fun activities often. Highly recommend.
