Love this gym. Would give it 5 stars. But the “progress check” I just had was abominable. I used to meet with Jesse, who was outstanding and great to work with, but she had to leave for personal reasons. Christian took over her clients. My first meeting with him he didn’t ask anything about me and it was a sales pitch through and through. I told him I wasn’t interested. He interrupts me to get Taylor Shroud, his boss, and she says to me Christian told her I was interested in paying for a trainer. I told her I wasn’t interested. She then tells me about pricing, what I should do, and says she can get me started and I can cancel if I change my mind. I told her and Christian again I wasn’t interested. The sales pitch continues til they decide setting up a meeting to talk about this another time would work best. And they scheduled it for a day I told them I’m unavailable. Worst “progress check” I’ve ever had and don’t plan on scheduling another one. Terrible service. Pushy sales people, not trainers. Bring Jesse back!

I’ve been a member of EoS for over a year now, and it’s a great gym with all of the standard amenities and more! I have the basic membership so I can’t speak to the premium features (fitness classes, etc.), but it has all the equipment and machines I need for my workouts. I love the indoor track as an alternative to the treadmill, too. It closes a bit early on the weekends so that’s a watch-out, but as long as you plan your workouts accordingly you’ll be fine.

Their cancelation policy is to charge you an extra month charge so they can give the excuse that they are giving you 3 more days of work outs there, plus they have yearly fees, sign up fees. Just go to Vasa instead, it's right next to it and I never had issues canceling over there. Same vibe and equipment as Vasa.

This is a gym that will not let you cancel your membership. I had a membership for years, and now I've had to cancel it due to an injury. On August 26th I cancelled my membership at the Ogden location and paid all outstanding bills. About a week later I go into the Roy location just to make sure everything got processed. They said everything looked good and that I had another month I could go to the gym because my payment went through. Today I just got another notification for a bill. I was planning on going back to this gym after I healed up, but Vasa is looking like the better option. They were so easy to cancel.

My husband loves the gym itself, but they overcharged us, said they’d refund us, and it’s been a month without said refund. He gets a monthly deal through his work ($20ish), so imagine our surprise when we were charged $99. When he talked to staff about it, he was told a manager would call him. Didn’t happen. He’s called in several times, finally spoke to a manager, was informed that somehow he had a duplicate account (this is literally his first gym membership) and it was this duplicate account that had charged that, and that they’d fix it and refund it. I thought that’d be the end of it, but it’s been a month since the initial charge and…. nothing. Unimpressed with the lack of follow through, and at this point feel like our money was stolen.

We decided as a family to get a gym membership over the summer. With not knowing that is would turn into a nightmare of nightmares. There accounts team does nothing but make things worse. We have been over charged with no refunds or consideration for refunds in site.

This gym is not worth it! I’ll preface that I go to the VASA on 12th normally. I was only here to do a workout with some friends and $20 dollars for a day pass is absolutely ridiculous considering the base membership price is $9.99.

The equipment is not well cared for and let me tell you the plate loaded preacher curl machine is absolutely horrendous to use. I will admit that the gym was clean but ultimately I told my friends that I will never go to an EOS again

EoS is using vulgarity to attract customers. Their new group fitness class is called "FU" and their signs familiarize and encourage the use of the F word. I understand they are planning another class with a vulgar name, so if this is the new trend I'll be looking for another gym. Swearing may be common, but it's not universally desirable, and it's certainly not professional.

Other than this issue, I've been pretty happy with Ogden EoS. There are some great instructors and lots of friendly people.

I don't understand why you need a 30 day notice before you can cancel a month to month membership. I signed up thinking I would have time to go. My schedule changed and now I don't have any time to workout at a gym. Trying to Cancel has been a headache. Don't understand why they make it so difficult to cancel and why you still need to pay an annual membership fee plus an extra month in order to quit the gym. I would not recommend signing up.

We signed up over the phone. I made a big deal of asking about the daycare and told them how many kids I had and their ages. We were told the daycare would be good for kids and to sign up the first time we went to work out. When we went, they wouldn't take one of my kids due to them being too young. We went to cancel because we had no one to watch our kids. We specifically chose this gym due to the daycare. They let us cancel, but refused to refund us what we had already paid, including the signed up fee. It was about 3 weeks after we signed up and they said they wouldn't refund it because "we could have used our membership but didn't". This statement was not true because we still would have had no one to watch our kids, we would have just found this out earlier. We accepted that we wouldn't get a refund, but it's still frustrating because we wouldn't have signed up at all and wouldn't have lost any money if the team member hadn't given us inaccurate information. We will not be signing up again when my child is old enough in a couple months.

I've been going to this gym for over a year now. The staff is very nice and friendly. I've also received an email asking for feedback. The owner seemed receptive to the feedback but did not take the actions they advised.
I complained about the excessive noise from the courts - the yelling, screaming, and even playing loud music through speakers. The owner said they'd make sure the doors were closed between the court and the yard. I've seen that door closed once since. The staff doesn't take any action to make sure people aren't slamming down weights on the machines, screaming after a set, or just being an overall loud nuisance to others. They don't enforce BASIC gym etiquette.
At this point it might be worth it to look into other gyms that prioritize the comfort and satisfaction of all members. Not just how many people they can get in the door each month.

Women, avoid this gym at all costs. As much as I did not want to leave a bad review of this gym, I feel as if I must. There are constant circumstances of male members harassing the female members, and the staff refuse to do anything because it “wasn’t physical.” We’ve given them ample time to address ANY of the ongoing situations at this club, but they fail to have any integrity and constantly ignore the problems at hand. The truth is women should not have to fear for their safety every time they workout. Sexual harassment is NEVER okay, whether it’s verbal, physical, or any other form.

This EOS location has helpful employees, but the biggest issue is the repeated harassment women experience from other gym members. I come here with a friend, and she is regularly followed, stared at, and approached by older men who ignore clear boundaries- even after being told she is only 17. Despite bringing this to the attention of staff, she was told that unless these men physically touch her, nothing can be done.

A gym should be a safe place to focus on personal growth, not a space where young women feel objectified and unsafe. I’ve also spoken to other women who’ve had similar experiences here, and they all feel uncomfortable and disrespected. The staff needs to take these reports more seriously and implement policies to address harassment. Waiting until someone is physically harmed is unacceptable. This behavior may happen elsewhere, but I’ve seen it more often at this EOS location than at any other gym in the area.

There is specifically this bald guy in his 40’s at this gym who brings a dog to make conversation with and is constantly harassing women. He harasses my friend and i’ve heard about multiple other people being harassed by this guy. Even my coworkers knew who this guy was and this gym still refuses to do anything about this because he “hasn’t touched anyone”

Really nice gym. They've got I think 8 squat racks so you can almost always get a decent workout in even if it's a little busy. I used to use the Vasa out in Layton but I switched over to this eos because the location is more convenient, and I haven't had any regrets. I Canceled my membership I had since 2016, actually pretty sad about it. it seems like corporate doesn’t really care about this facility, the steam room is the main reason I attended this gym and it’s usually broken more often than not, it stays broken for VERY long periods of time, I’m talking months. No exaggeration here genuinely. The gym is also insanely packed. The employees are nice and have great attitudes though, if you care about that. The equipment just stays broken far to long for my liking, as where other gyms would have it fixed in a few days. Gym floor equipment will stay broken for very long amounts of time as well. I wish I could leave less than one star, this really is the worst gym in Utah. This location has more memberships sold than any other location and yet everything is still broken always

Every weight peg is loaded with a random assortment of 5s, 10s, 25s, 35s, or 45s. I'm not sure if I should blame the people for not managing to match shapes, or the staff for not correcting it. It is incredibly frustrating when I want to use a 10 but need to first remove 3 other disparate weights from in front of it. Just please, please, please do something to keep the same weight sizes on the same pegs. Post reminders, make sure staff are actively correcting it, something. Such an annoying inconvenience that makes the gym feel low value.

This gym has scammed me out of money. Extremely difficult to cancel memberships such that I had to call them every month for 3 months. Then I tried their personal trainers and was told when to 30 day cancel my contract to avoid any extra payments after moving and was told the wrong day.

I regret signing up for this gym while living in Ogden as it has been nothing but a pain. Would have been healthier to skip the gym for the 3 months I lived there.

I gave this gym 4 stars because I have been going here for sometime now and although this gym is deff successful as a customer I have a few gripes that this gym overlooks. The first grips is that when it comes to enforcing the rules that people are suppose to clean up after them selfs, put their own weights away or throw trash out. This place just doesnt seem to care about enforcing this rule. Many times you come in and in the weight rack area you find stack upon stacks of weights that people used but never put back. They just leave them there all over the floor and it looks sloppy and its unfair to new people coming in when we have to step over everthing or just take the time to clean up the weights and put them back outselfs. This is the responsibility of the gym goer and the staff. I have come in day after day some weeks and someone will leave a energy drink can where the kettle bells are, the can sits there day after day and nobody cleans it. So the fact that its not routine for the staff to walk the gym during their time to keep the area clean or enforce gym etiquette is not good for a gym this size. I like this gym but It really bugs me and I know it bugs other gym goes that many times both areas upstairs and down stairs are just not kept organized and clean. Nobody should have to come in for a work out only to spend 20 minutes re-organizing and cleaning the gym first but I have had to do this on many occasions.

Other than that this gym is large and has alot of customers and alot of equipment. I like it here but would like to see more attention to gym cleanliness and making sure the gym community knows thier personal responsibilities. Do for others so that they can do for you.

Other than that its a good gym in Ogden. Also i do belive in this day and age no gym should sell anything with sugar in it. It has been proven over and over that these products are garbage so also I would like to see the gym have cleaner feuling options with zero sugar, preservatives or fake ingredience.

I love going to Eos!!!! The members are all so friendly, inviting and encouraging. This place feels like a second home. My favorite EOS gym. The indoor track is awesome if you don't want to be on a treadmill. Staff is amazing, friendly and always willing to help when needed. The kids club is super fun for the kids. My kids love coming here as well.
