Overcrowded to the point it's unusable most of the day, and that's if you can even find a spot to park in their microscopic parking lot or the surrounding streets. I've had to abandon my workout halfway many times cause I ran out of time and nothing I needed was free. Tons of out of control teenagers, people using the equipment like lounge chairs to do whatever they're doing on their phone for extended periods of time. It didn't used to be like this, the problem is they've been aggressively selling memberships for a couple years as if they have a facility 10x the size and it seems there's no end in sight.

Honestly not pleased with this gym. I used to go to this location when Gold’s gym owned it and enjoyed it for years as a less busy gym that had everything I needed. After EŌS bought it I continued going for years and even maintained my membership while they were renovating it after the purchase for about a year driving to the Ogden location. Following the purchase the gym gave me a loyalty discount for rolling my membership over which was the medium level membership for the price of the cheapest one. This was about $12 which was a fair price in my opinion. The gym over the years slowly got busier and busier to the point where the whole parking lot is full and cars, forcing cars to park on the side of the street along that whole block. Good for business bad for someone who has a workout routine as everything is usually occupied. Literally everything. I still continued to go to this gym out of loyalty until they doubled my membership cost out of nowhere and when I went and asked they said my old rate was only available to new members now. Seriously…. Prioritizing new members over members who have had memberships for years… this was the last straw I took my business to VASA where the machines are available, clean, and there is plenty of parking. Not to mention cheaper membership prices. I would not recommend supporting this business as they will not support you.

Expensive, but its a good gym. The afternoons are very busy, and there are waits for most of the machines. The mornings are less busy.

Edit: I removed 2 stars because I’m paying extra for access to a body scan once a month and the machine isn’t working. Also received a 100 dollar charge as a sign up fee, even though I was told that the sign up would be 1 dollar (which they also charged).

A month after that last edit, the massage chairs were broken… this is frustrating.

I really liked the gym. The problem I have was charging me to cancel my account. I've been going there for years and I'm moving an hour north and there's no gym there so I needed to cancel. You have to pay almost $30.00 to cancel. That's just not right.

I went as a guest, I have silver sneakers so it wouldn't cost me anything. They had me sign up but I only went a short time as a guest and then went back to my regular gym. That was 8 months ago. They have not stopped harassing me! Saying I owe them money, I left messages saying I was let in as a guest and that even if I hadn't I had silver sneakers and there was no charge. Then they turned me over to an attorney recently. I have ignored their calls but they call and leave messages now along with an attorney 3 to 5 times daily. It is disgusting!! I have recently contacted an attorney and have kept track of all phone calls and saved and recorded messages. I'm about to file a lawsuit of my own. DO NOT GO IN THIS GYM. THEY WILL NEVER STOP HARASSING YOU!!

Horrible gym, I’ve tried everything to cancel my trainer membership with zero luck. I’ve been told exactly what to do by employees and tried it with no luck. I’ve emailed the district manager, talked to
Management directly, been told by management my agreement would be stopped and I’d be refunded. NOTHING! I’m seriously just going to hire a lawyer to sue them, at this point they have no respect for me and I do not care to continue going to this gym…

Reported them to the BBB and will continue to let others know how horrible they treat customers, they literal Just care about money. Sadly I’ve had 4 other people join this gym but I will convince them to go somewhere else, clearly there is no way to actually get them to care.

Eos expect a lawsuit, you owe me like $600 minimum at this point. Had you been respectful and transparent and ALLOWED ME TO CANCEL MY AGREEMENT like you said I could (since it’s month to month?) it wouldn’t have come to this, but now you’ve gone too far…

EDIT: Go to Vasa or Snap Fitness instead, I was a member of Vasa for years until EoS became a closer option. Canceling Vasa was so easy. I just had to cancel my EoS membership due to an injury, Canceling was such a pain and they charge extra fees to cancel.

Also, don't believe their star rating, they gave away T-shirts and stuff to bribe members for higher reviews.

If they tell you they're gonna "waive" the annual fee to get you to sign up, they're lying to you. The annual fee is like 80 dollars, I wouldn't have signed up if they didn't specifically tell me they were gonna waive it. Most big chain gyms like this are scams and I don't know why I even bothered but it would be a decent gym if they stopped being shady with their pricing/negotiation tactics. I called to cancel my membership 6 months ago because I was moving an hour north. The employee assured me they could get me canceled out that day and had my account pulled up. Though I never got any sort of confirmation. Well a few months later I got a $65 charge from them which I immediately disputed and blocked them from accessing that card. I called 2 months ago and spoke to another brand new representative for a hour on the phone, who asked me to drive an hour south into their facility just so I could cancel my account. I told her I was going out of town for two weeks and was unable to but that I needed them to cancel my account before they try to charge me again. A few days later I received an email and text from them asking me to update my billing info that I now have late fees. I called their 3rd party billing company and was on the phone with them for over an hour, but they confirmed with me my account would be cancelled and they sent me a confirmation email saying so. They now added on even more fees in the last 4 weeks after the third party sent me the cancellation email. I have now spent over 2 hours in just the last 2 days as well as multiple emails between me and the general manager and they refuse to cancel my account that they added MONTHD after ai was already promised my account would be cancelled. They’re very quick to take your money and get you signed up with them, but refuse to let you go even though you’ve never been late on any payments with them since having a membership with them.

Sold an agreement to a 16 year old kid? What is that all about? They took advantage of a 16 year old that came in Their policy clearly states that you must be 18 in order to attend the gym or 16 and older if accompanied by an adult. Then they sell a 16 year old an agreement and tell him he can't cancel for at least 3 days which locks him into paying a full month. Stay away from them, their sales people are crooked.

I'm joined because of the cardio cinema, but the movie theater room has fluorescent lights that completely ruin the movie screen. I can hardly see the movie. Further more, the volume in the cinema is pretty quiet. They appear to have a great sound system to compliment the movies, but the volume is lame. And the equipment in cardio cinema seems to be the gym equipment grave yard. Several cardio machines are squeaky or have damage. The rowing machine has a broken foot strap and the pull system is rough. There's a stair climber that makes a banging noise with every step. A few of the machines won't turn on. It would be great if management came into this room and fixed the lighting (make it dark ir at least unplug the two lights that are right above the screen), make the sound system reflect an actual movie theater, and take a good look at each piece of equipment.

Other than that, the staff is super friendly, the gym is always clean, and they have a wonderful variety of equipment.

If you're planning on using the sauna make sure you bring a lock to lock up your things. I was there late Saturday night july 19th around 10pm and had use one of the lockers to place my personal things so I can go in the sauna. There was 2 Latina cleaning ladies and 1 had seen me put my belongings in one of the lockers. I didnt realize $300 cash was taken from my wallet when I wanted to pay cash at the grocery store but all was left was $1 dollar bill. I knew it was kinda odd that one of the ladies was wiping down the sauna door outside and the inside to just probably to keep me from getting her friend caught taking my cash. So I suggest everyone to bring a lock or keep an eye on those ladies

DON'T TRUST AND USE THIS FITNESS CENTER!!!!! I wouldn't even give them a star in reality. My experience with EOS is terrible. They don't seem to care about their customers at all. I signed up with my husband the end of March in Roy and they talked me into doing PT just for myself. I decided the next morning to cancel my PT. I called the fitness center and was told I had to do it online which I did. Long story short, funds have been taken from my account in the amount of $100's of dollars. I was told that the PT was set up under my husband's membership not mine which is the fitness centers error. They told me to cancel under his membership but as a result they are not going to refund our money and are still taking fund's from our account. Cannot get anyone from PT to call to try to resolve this issue. I feel since it was EOS 's error in setting up membership that they should admit to their error and refund us our money. We have not stepped foot into the fitness center or had any PT time at all. I will never recommend this center to anyone. The act like it is all our fault and not theirs. Don't trust this center or it's management at all.

The team at the EoS Fitness - Roy location has been phenomenal. They've always been attentive to us gym goers and are super helpful when any problem arises.

For the past few months, I've been working with my personal trainer, Hannah, and she's done an amazing job with pushing me to hit my goals. She's super receptive and flexible when it comes to my fitness plan and she's an advocate for a comfortable gym experience while also pushing me to reach my limits. If you're a regular gym goer or a newbie looking for a little assistance because you might be stuck in your fitness journey, Hannah is your girl!

Consistently Disappointed - Broken Amenities are the Norm at EOS Fitness.

I'm writing this review to express my extreme disappointment with the consistently unreliable state of the amenities at EOS Fitness. As someone who values the relaxation and recovery benefits of the hot tub, pool, and sauna, I've found these facilities to be out of service far more often than they are actually available.

It's become almost a running joke among members about which amenity will be broken this week. Whether it's the "temporarily out of order" sign on the hot tub, the inexplicably closed pool, or the sauna out of order, it's a constant letdown.

It feels like a significant portion of the membership fee is going towards facilities that I can rarely use. When I signed up, the availability of these amenities was a major selling point, and the reality has been a stark contrast.

While the gym equipment itself might be adequate, the consistent failure to maintain these key features is unacceptable. It significantly diminishes the overall value and enjoyment of my membership.

If you're considering joining EOS Fitness primarily for the hot tub, pool, or sauna, I would strongly advise you to look elsewhere. Don't expect these to be reliable perks – more often than not, you'll be met with disappointment.

EOS Fitness needs to seriously address the maintenance and upkeep of these facilities if they want to retain members who value more than just treadmills and weights. As it stands, I feel like I'm paying for services I'm not receiving.

Also, I am not criticizing the employees' amazing customer service. This is a maintenance issue, not a customer service issue. Every single person at the front desk is amazing!

I hope EOS Fitness takes notice and improves their maintenance.

Been a member here for a couple years. Don’t get me wrong, this place gets crazy, busy and way too full at times, however, the staff do a great job at keeping things going and are always on top of the general maintenance. Another large chain gym in the area Seem to always have repeated broken equipment and the pool was always shutting down. The Roy EOS has been one of the better gyms. I’ve seen one a piece of equipment brakes at getting it fixed, and the pool mostly always being operational. If I had to give one critique, it would be the brown paper towels and spray cleaner, as it just seems like a waste of time and I question that it really even works very well. Single wipes just seemed to do a much better job and clean much better. Otherwise, I don’t really have a lot of complaints as I don’t think being overcrowded is something to complain about. I can go anytime of the day to try to work around the crowds and there are plenty of times where it’s less busy. I really do like this gym and plan on being a member for quite some time. Big shout out to the staff at EOS for the great job that they do day in and day out.

We love EoS!! We have been members here for years and continue to love it. It is clean and well designed. The pool and sauna are appealing features and the massage chair room is lovely and peaceful - like a day at the spa. The staff are friendly and the management is helpful. I recommend this gym!

Love EOS for the gym. We enjoy the variety of the equipment they have available. Price can’t be beat. The south Jordan gym is best compared to all the other ones. That being said it can get really busy at peak times. So know with great price comes great volumes of people at 5 pm lol
