These are some of my most favorite people in the world. From every walk of life but one in purpose. Life in recovery. I have so much love for this place and for the community they cultivate. Thank you for all that you do! One day at a time.

When my son was introduced to FTR I had a good feeling heβd benefit from it. What I didnβt realize is that I would too.
There is no doubt in my mind FTR saved and changed our lives! I can see growth in myself and my son. I am proud of this journey to wellness we have been on together. FTR has nurtured and supported us in so many ways. The community is beautifully accepting and accommodating. Their coaches are incredibly knowledgeable, take the time to explain the exercise, and genuinely provide the utmost respect and care. Absolutely lovey humans, facility, and community. π«Ά

Absolutely incredible location for folks in recovery to come and get fitness, art, cooking, and a whole other variety of wellness classes. The instructors and coaches are absolutely filled with love and support. The community they have built is so wonderful. The gym is great! I have not yet taken any of the art or cooking classes, but I know friends have and love them. It's a great non-profit and you should definitely check it out.

I've been aware of them for years. Mingled with members at sober events that they were part of, always thought it was a great idea. Brought my sister in today so she could check it out. I believe his name was James, was very helpful, and overall laid down a welcoming vibe. I'm quite hopeful. And man, I may just have to come check out some of the other activities they offer myself. Really is a beautiful place. I'm really happy they're doing it!

Fit to Recover has brought so much to my life that I didn't know I needed. I'm from Santa Fe, New Mexico and we don't have anything like this back home. My mother had a heart transplant in March so I'm here temporarily. I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the great workout sessions you've provided. Your expertise and knowledge of the subject matters have been invaluable in helping me to understand and apply what I've learned. Your enthusiasm and positive attitudes have also made the experience enjoyable and engaging!

Saturday morning class with Jeff was one of the best experiences of my life. Iβve never enjoyed working out, nor felt comfortable in a gym or class setting until FTR. Jeff made me feel so comfortable and capable and confident. I left feeling strong and grateful for my body, and ready for more opportunities to move and grow. FTR is welcoming, and I truly believe itβs a no judgement zone. Plus, they have skeeball. 11/10 recommend.

I simply do not have the words to describe how precious this place is to my heart and to my personal recovery. The gym brings connection and community building through fitness. The Creative Arts Center combines the magic of artistic expression through music, painting, and unity. The cooking classes are such a beautiful way to enhance life skills, while coming together to harvest the gift of a shared meal. The team who run this amazIng non-profit are some of the most beautiful and authentic people I know, and I'm honored to be a member of this incredible community at Fit to Recover.

This work out group and support group for LGBTQ+ individuals has been a safe haven and personal treat every week for me personally. the trainer Kate is an inspiration and natural leader. FIT2RECOVER has cultivated a non-profit that has filled a gap in need for our community thereby strengthening the moral fiber of its constituency. If peace of mind brought on by personal perseverance and community could power the lights fit2recover would be responsible for the glow of a city.

Always loved Fit to Recover. Their new facility is so nice! Much bigger than the old one, with more areas and features. Even a skiball machine! The music room is now separate from the gym and it's awesome. I love the community spirit here, and they have lots of different events and styles for your specific taste. I enjoy the workouts because they push you, while also focusing on giving you a good experience for your fitness level. I'm a beginner myself so I use the modifications they teach you on some exercises. 5/5 recommend this place for anyone interested in music, fitness, nutrition, recovery and community fun!

Safe, Welcoming, Acceptingβ¦.. those are things everyone longs for, especially ones in Recovery.
FTR is exactly that.
From the minute you walk in, the community makes sure you are recognized.
The fitness classes are for all shapes, sizes, and abilities. (Which really put my mind at ease) There is no competition, the instructors make sure you are able to participate with variations of each movement. It allowed me to become more confident as my body became stronger as I just KEPT SHOWING UP!
Thank you for making a place where I can be myself, express myself and heal my mind and body. I am forever grateful.
Get the courage to walk through the Orange Doorβ¦.

I gotta say I'm very self conscious when it comes to working out and generally feel anxiety trying something new or stepping beyond/outside my comfort zone. I must have drove here 2 or 3 times before I ever got out of the car and finally went in.
The staff was immediately welcoming, the workout group was even more helpful and I really felt accepted for just showing up. Signing up was a breeze and I saw many familiar faces.
Its a part of my routine now and I can't imagine not having FTR for a safe space to work my program of recovery. Thank you! -Donovan

Would honestly give this place 10 stars if I could. The trainers are amazing they take the time to coach you through proper form so you can get the most out of your workout. Every time you walk in you are greeted by name and told how happy they are that you are there. The energy and support not only from the trainers but also the people there is unreal! You are constantly getting cheered on which makes pushing through the hard workouts easier. You leave FTR feeling like you just worked out with your best friends. Everyone deserves a safe place like FTR to workout whether in recovery or not.
