Lisa has been coaching me for my health for a few months now. I’ve worked with mental health therapists in the past, but the difference with Lisa is that she’s helping me holistically. We work on thought patterns, stretches, and habits. She is kind and nonjudgmental and she is one of the best listeners I have ever met. I always feel uplifted and motivated after our sessions together. The goals she helps me set are things that I feel confident in being able to achieve. Our sessions often end with a brief yoga exercise that I can utilize during the coming week. Slowly but surely my health is returning, and it feels great.

Lisa is fantastic! She really knows what she is teaching and is fabulous at tailoring her knowledge to individual needs. She has helped me navigate pregnancy related pains and tachycardia, as well as helping me prepare mentally and physically for labor and delivery. I highly recommend her for any situation, not just pregnancy related.

Been working with Lisa for a year now and she’s amazing. She knows her stuff and individualizes the practice to the needs of her client. Her yoga classes are great and her personalized yoga therapy is fantastic. She’s helped with my injuries, flexibility, strength and mindfulness.

I was hooked on Lisa’s style in one practice!! She is so attentive and individualizes the practice according to what student’s needs are. Since she specializes in therapy she personally modifies poses for you. She has an incredible memory....names, past and present injuries, favorite poses. After attending many different yoga classes, I have found my favorite...by far!

I've done loads of yoga classes and apps, which I have always done out of obligation to health but always found super boring and totally poo-pooed the connection between mental and physical wellness. I recently experienced tendonitis so I tried out Lisa's Renew and Restore class while I recover. I didn't know what a difference an actual yoga therapist makes in quality of yoga! I'm obsessed! She keeps her classes small, 8 people, which is awesome because she pays attention to how each person is doing! Her practice is new so definitely get in before people realize how good she is and she has to start raising her rates!

Lisa has a great way of individualizing instruction.
For instance, at the beginning of class, she asks if there is a particular part of the body that anyone might want emphasized for the day’s session.
Lisa, in a quiet and encouraging way, corrects a yoga posture that needs improvement. Or she might add a cushion or blanket that might help the student perfect a yoga stretch.
Lisa has the ability to create imagery that helps the student relax and gain confidence.
Through Lisa’s instruction, I have benefitted from yoga immensely both with strengthening my core and with improving my sense of inner peace.

Lisa is not an instructor.. she is almost like a guru and yes I know the significance of that word, given I am from India. She enables and empowers you through her experience and gentle teaching methodology, so much so that, even when you are doing a downward dog, looking more like a very contorted cat, you feel you are a Yogini with a spirit .. a free beautiful spirit. I think it is because she engages everyone in the room in a journey.. no matter where are on our own.. for an hour, we are all one, aspiring for things we want, on and off the mat. She makes it safe. She makes it spiritual. ..
