5 lessons in and Coach Greg has done wonders for my game so far. Two months before starting my lessons I had issues with consistency regarding ball striking but after applying the drills that were provided, I am already enjoying the game much more. The key to improvement in this game is lessons and practice, a new driver can only fix so much. Highly recommend GOLFTEC and Coach Greg.

This is a great facility and staff. I’m going through a tough swing change as an old man and I’m struggling to improve but Casey has been patient and innovative with me and although this change seems major to me and is taking longer than ideal to master, he is coming up with new ideas that help. I have received very good instructions from more than one instructor over the years. This is a great place to get better at this challenging game. Thanks, Casey! Your the best.

I invested $1600 for a 6 month lesson package. Overall I’m worse off then before I started with GOLFTEC.

I would recommend getting lessons with a golf pro at your local course. 5 years ago I did a 3, 1 hour lesson package at Davis Park and had much more success.

I had a lesson every other week and 90 minutes of practice time in their bays each week. Their technology often freezes up or doesn’t work correctly making your practice time less effective.

About half way into my lessons my coach left and I got a new coach. The new coach was on the right track with me but I started over with Day 1 lessons after investing 3 months with my prior coach. The first 2 lessons were the exact opposite of what the previous coach was having me work on. When I shared my frustrations with my manager there was no consideration offered. I’ve had improvement on my irons but I was probably halfway through lessons on my driver and now I have less distance and more inconsistency.

Where they struggle with their lessons is it’s booked for 30 minutes. They always start late. There’s no follow up from the previous skill. You take 5 swings and they catch a new thing that your lesson is based on. Because they start late, sometimes moving bays because of their technology, you’re not even warmed up and you’re already halfway through your time. They record a minute of their analysis to add the recorded lesson to your ap. Usually not leaving time to really get into what to work on for more than 2-4 minutes. Then you get a video link follow up to figure it out on your own.

The ads showing all of these data points and consulting with you in lessons is a bit misleading. Very few lessons showed any of those details.7 strokes could be possible if you get the right instructor and spend a year and $4500 with them.

After golfing for nearly 40 years, I decided to visit GolfTec to get "fitted" for a set of clubs for the first time ever. Greg Hack was extremely professional in his approach and insight. I was shocked to see him dramatically reduce my spin ratio and launch angle with new clubs and shafts.

After one week of getting used to the new irons, I shot my best round of the year, a 75! Pretty sure I set a PR for hitting the most GIR as well!

Now, I have my son setup and taking lessons from Greg, in preparation for HS golf tryouts.

Started going to GolfTec a few months ago with the hope to get some help striking the ball more consistently. 6 lessons later I’m playing 10-15 strokes worse than at the end of last season. Their system seems to be built around fitting players into a “pro” type swing.

A 30 minute lesson consists of approximately the following. Show up and hit a few balls for warm up. Then record a swing and tell you everything you did incorrect. Show you how a professional golfer swings in a side by side comparison. The instructor gives you a couple drills (most of which can be found on YouTube). Practice the drills a couple times with the instructor. And they send you on your way. In 3 hours of instructor time I’ve hit maybe 30 golf balls.

If you’re a beginner or looking for a complete swing overhaul GolfTec is the place for you. If you’re looking for some slight tweaks to an already manageable swing you can probably find better help at your local course.

Decades of lessons and advise on how to swing got me here. My swing worked but it wasn't fun anymore. Within the span of the first session with Karl Doller, I saw exactly what I had been missing. Seeing my values compared to tour average is such an easy and intuitive way of making sense of it. The video aspect of actual players shown synchronized side by side with me is so remarkably enlightening. There wasn't a single bad swing habit during the session series with Karl where he didn't have a solution for it! Will be back as required .

I don't know why I didn't do this sooner! The lessons are fun and informative. Within the first 30 minutes we were already correcting problems I'd been trying to work on for months on my own. The instructors are very nice, no pressure, type teachers. Definitely recommend GolfTEC!

The swing analysis was awesome. It was so great to understand the strengths and weaknesses of my swing. Karl fixed the pull, over the top problems I have had with my iron play. I should have done this years ago.
