Offering personal training, private self defense classes, and yoga classes - as well as offering all three of those exercise disciplines to corporate wellness programs - Health and Fitness The Truth is the brand under which health and fitness professional, Christopher McGee, works. The name represents Christopher's effort to remove dishonest marketing from the issue of your wellbeing. With a degree in Exercise and Sport Science, multiple certifications as a personal trainer, a certified Schole Yoga instructor, with two decades of mixed martial arts experience, and with constant continuing education in the fields of nutrition and exercise, Christopher can help you gain the discipline and the knowledge needed to reach your goals.

I recently finished Chris’s nutrition course. Through this course I not only lost weight, I learned about nutrition and healthy eating to provide optimal fuel for my body. Chris is extremely knowledgeable about nutrition, and the tools he gave me are ones I will use throughout my life.

I have trained with Chris for more than 5 years! I have taken yoga and self defense, and am currently strength training. Chris is amazing at knowing how to push and motivate me. I have a physically demanding job, and through Chris’s training I am able to run, move, and perform at a higher level. Chris has helped me both physically and mentally. If you want to work with a personal trainer, NO ONE, I repeat, NO ONE is better qualified and prepared than Christopher McGee. He has the knowledge, training, and dedication necessary to be the best personal trainer available. But, you say, I'm prejudiced because I'm his mother. Yes, I'm prejudiced because I'm his mother. But as his mother I have knowledge about this man that others are not privy to. Over his entire lifetime, I have watched him gain knowledge—formal-college-degree-earning and professional certificates—and experience working in the fitness field as a fitness professional and as one determined to optimize his own health and fitness. I have watched him turn his desire to help others that began when he was a young teenager into a reality. Again, you will not go wrong with Christopher on your team. Chris has been my personal trainer for about three years, but he’s much more than a weight lifting coach. I’ve worked with Chris on specific goals like increasing flexibility and improving posture. He’s guided me through injuries and suggested fitness strategies to use outside the gym. One of the things that sets Chris apart is his passion and enthusiasm for health and exercise. He's thoughtful and knowledgeable about the human body and I rely on Chris' expertise to ensure I maintain proper form during strength training. Chris is also attentive and focused during our sessions, teaching me about the way each action influences the joints and muscles. I really appreciate Christopher and his approach to personal training. His demeanor is such that I instantly felt comfortable in his presence. He goes above and beyond to educate me about what I'm doing, how I'm doing it, why I'm doing it and how to do it correctly. He has cultivated a way to help me focus on my strengths and he uses positive reinforcement really effectively. He takes the time to pay attention to the subtle movements your making and helps you to see for yourself how minor adjustments make big differences. He obviously is very knowledgeable and loves to share that wealth. I feel like he genuinely wants to empower me and in the short time I've been working with him I feel stronger and more confident. This is a wonderful way to start my day. I feel so energetic and happy. I've been working with Chris for a few months and have a great understanding of my health and learned new ways to exercise that don't hurt my bad knee. He always made sure I was working out without having any pain. He is very knowledgeable in what he does and teaches you the proper techniques as you go. When I've gone to other places it feels like they're just pushing you through generic routines and not really tailored for you individually.
I could go on and on how much I appreciated him paying attention to me and pushing me to my potential but never to pain. Thank you so much for the training. You're wonderful to work with.

I first attended one of Chris's yoga classes 3 years ago. I had never tried yoga before, but after that class I was hooked! Chris has been my yoga instructor in both a class setting and in private sessions since that first class. Yoga with Chris is fantastic! Because of the instruction I receive from Chris, I'm more flexible, I'm less likely to injure myself during my other workouts, and my head is always in a good place afterwards!
