Words are not enough to explain the energy and love that comes out of this studio. The community that is formed behind sharing such an incredible space together is second to none.
I do arrive early to get my spot but will happily scoot over if someone needs a space. We are all family under that roof. I have learned that how you show up on the mat is how you show up in life!! If you show up late to yoga you show up late to life. So be on time, work hard for yourself, meet a new friend, and above all else breathe 🧘🏽♂️.
Can’t wait to see you there!!

I have come so far because of Higher Ground Hot Yoga. I feel like I wasn’t a very nice person when I started. People can tell that I am more happy, my aura shines.
I am proud that I have come this far mentally, emotionally, and physically. It is all because of Higher Ground Hot Yoga. I have also become a lot more flexible as well! Which I am EXTREMELY thankful for! I am noticing a lot more that is out there in the world. 🦋

I love how they have so many different teachers. They have different classes, and the change in teachers makes the classes BEYOND amazing!

Probably amazing classes, but sign up system and getting to the classes is incredibly painful. Sign up system wants a full profile made for each person, no option to make group reservations or send links to other people. Classes fill up, so you might make one reservation and then have a friend make theirs but it’s full for them. Still, gave it a shot, showed up to class and arrived 1 minute late due to unavoidable delays. Door was locked, called and told unable to be let in. No slop was given, told come back another time. If I should be showing up 15 min earlier, set that as the class time, fix online interface to allow group reservations.

Truly enjoy the classes I have taken here . Hot yoga has always been a form for my mind , body and soul to focus on my internal and external being.
You do need to arrive 20-30 mins before prime time classes 5, or 6 O’clock times . Classes are packed . Worth going

Classes are awesome! And so are the instructors, but the classes are too full. I feel like you’re always stacked up on each other and not able to practice fully due to needing to stay tight on your mat. When your neighbors sweat puddle starts to soak into your own yoga mat, it’s just too close. If they could cap and put limits on class sizes, I would give them 5 stars!

I am a brain injury, advocate, and Ski for brain rehab. I was visiting town for a night to visit my dear friend and survivor Rick and wanted to dance. They had a lovely Saturday evening workshop dance led by three positive and powerful women. I have my home studio in Grass Valley California where I am quite loved, but if I lived in Ogden, this would definitely be my studio. Thank you so much for loving positive experience. And oh yeah Rick has a punch card❤️

I love this hot yoga studio! I have tried out a lot of studios in Utah and this one is probably my favorite! I love Amanda and Lauren and I'm sure the other instructors are great too. They offer lots of different variations of classes so its a great place for different interests and difficulty levels. I also love that it's above a coffee shop, super cute atmosphere!

I think it’s amazing experience. I wouldn’t worry about the 2 people complaining about not being allowed in if you are late. First off, you disrupt the entire flow of the class. They give you a time that it starts on purpose. They aren’t doing it to be rude. Yoga is also a form of meditation. So, yes when you are in the flow it’s annoying to have someone walk in say “oh I’m sorry”, then move people around so you can fit too. Sorry, but that doesn’t deserve a negative review. Mark and Debbie are great people. I have known Mark 13 years. He is a very laid back and chill person. Rules are put in place everywhere you go. Would you go to a restaurant 3 minutes before it closes and ask to be served? It is similar to what you are angry about.

Really great Hot Yoga spot! The teachers are knowledgeable and mix up classes each time I go. The app makes it super easy to sign up. And it's definitely HOT! Be prepared to sweat, but you will feel amazing afterwards.
Updated: There is a great variety of teachers to have a good experience.

I've seen the hot yoga sign above my favorite little coffee shop on Ogden and have been wanting to give it a try. I went to the website and was offered a free class for first time/one time use and went for am hour 26/2 class. I was hooked. I felt so rejuvenated and energized after that class! The space is calming and welcoming, the other students helped me and I felt welcomed. There are showers in the bathroom if you need to rinse off after. Don't be late though as the instructor locks the doors at the beginning of class so it doesn't disturb class, which is nice.
I ended up purchasing the unlimited pass for 30 days! I can't wait to see how I progress over the next month!

It’s in a great space, uniquely above a coffee shop, on Ogden’s historic 25th street, with a large studio with wooden floors and good natural light. Instructors are excellent, and it’s a hot yoga BIKRAM’S format along with fusion, Vinyasa, yin, etc. It’s a gem.

This is my first hot yoga practice in Ogden after moving from the East Coast. Maddie greeted me with a smile and gave me a tour of the space. Lilli taught a challenging and accessible 26 + 2 and cares greatly for her newer students. I am looking forward to practicing with this community.

Be warned- don’t be late. I even mentioned that my friend was in the class and she was condescending and pointed out how I don’t even have a yoga mat. I asked if I could just slip in and still pay full price. SHE APOLOGIZED TO MY FRIEND… and said… sorry I made your friend mad. 🤨 it’s called a “drop-in” class…. So I shouldn’t be made guilty for not registering online. She literally said to me- “why do you feel so uncomfortable right now?” I won’t be coming back. It’s hard to leave my babies and stuff myself into a sport bra. I won’t be coming back.

Be warned, if you’re late they won’t let you in the class! Signed up for hot yoga and was 3 minutes late and the door was locked when we got there. We talked to the baristas in the coffee shop down stairs and apparently they always do this. It would’ve been nice to know we’d be locked out if we were late… they easily could’ve mentioned it in the confirmation email! Just very frustrating.

Never tried hot yoga until two weeks ago. I've already been to four classes since then, and signed up for a monthly pass. I can't put into words how transformative hot yoga feels, for body and spirit.
All of the instructors so far have been unique in spirit and genuine in guidance. It truly feels like a sanctuary to practice in.

I’ve been wanting to write this review for years and have finally found the time.☺️
I absolutely adore this studio. I have practiced and actually taught here years ago, (you see a studios true colors working with them) and found it to be a sanctuary. It’s becoming rare to find a yoga studio that is not only invested in your bodies transformation but your spiritual and emotional one as well. When people ask where they can find an authentic yoga experience, I recommend here.

I tried hot yoga here for the first time and I have to admit that it was an amazing experience. The instructor was super nice and professional and did a great job with helping a first timer like me get the proper poses. I will be definitely signing up!

We visited this yoga studio for a Nidra sound bath. The studio owner and instructor are amazing! This was by far the best sound bath experience I've had. The studio is quaint and the other students were all so pleasant and friendly. We will be back!

I enjoyed beginner Hot Yoga, but a studio with so many rules is not the place for me. It’s difficult to relax if you need a block and can’t remember if getting one during class will violate the 20+ rules posted. If your very serious about hot yoga and want an exclusive experience that doesn’t include newbies, this is the place for you.

I had the great pleasure of taking the Ashtanga class with Sonya and had such a wonderful experience! Sonya was immensely kind and very helpful to me as a newcomer and complete beginner at yoga. Sonya took the extra care to provide me individualized attention and assistance with my form and gave many helpful tips just for me when the other class members already knew what they were doing. The class itself flowed really nicely and was challenging but still do-able. Sonya took the time to introduce some more advanced poses to the experienced class members and help them with very detailed tips and tricks, so everyone was well taken care of. Thank you so much!!! I can’t wait to come back next time I’m in Ogden :)
