I canceled my membership back in January and they said it takes 60 days for the cancellation to take effect. They just barely charged me for a new month in April and I cannot for the life of me reach anyone or get anyone to pick up the phone to process a refund.

Hotworx itself is not the problem. This specific location and management is the reason for this review. After being a hotworx customer for over a year, my wife and I decided to cancel our memberships. We called and emailed numerous times to do so, and couldn’t get ahold of anyone here for weeks. When we finally were able to get someone to answer the phone we were told we needed to cancel our accounts separately due to the fact that our accounts had been started at different times. I was told my account would be canceled in 3 months (as per their policy), and my wife called to do the same. 1 year later I see they were still charging my card. Thinking a mistake had been made by a new employee (they were very understaffed when we cancelled), we called to remedy the situation. We were told there was nothing they could do because we didn’t cancel our accounts in person like they require. This was never mentioned during enrollment or when we cancelled. The employee told us our accounts would be cancelled and nothing else was required. We are now out $1,200 and management couldn’t care less. Very disappointed to be treated this way as a former customer. Charged for over a year for services not rendered. Please avoid this location and the dishonest management here.

Showed up for a free trial and it was locked no one showed up to unlock the doors even when it said they should’ve been opened by now. Was really disappointed.

Cannot recommend HOTWORX in Highland enough! The staff is so friendly and I love being able to workout whenever I need. They offer a free workout so you can try and it's been one of the best decisions I've made!

This is really fun so far. I love saunas. Working out and one is definitely something else! But it's not nearly as hot or overwhelming as I thought it would be. It's actually not that big of a deal. Other than you sweat like crazy. And your muscles are a little warmer. I give it a five star so far.

You can get a killer work out in very little time.

30 mins and I burned about 368 cal I was sweating. It felt great!

You can control the temperature of sauna, volume of the TV and the lights inside.

They charge $100 to cancel! Be warned!!! They claim it’s a 3 month lock in and then you can cancel. However, they then charge you $100 to cancel. Also, non stop SUPER LOUD music. Not yoga music, but Rock music. In a yoga studio. Doesn’t matter if you show up at 5am it’s blaring. Can’t shut it off.

I am so happy I found the best gym in Utah!!!. It’s the combination of great staff and having your own sauna, detox, and a variety of torching calories workouts at any point you want - from cardio cycling and thunder to great yoga, Pilates, total body, core and more. I love it and feel lucky to have found it.

Hands down BEST way to get a workout in. Love the location, love the concept and enjoy all the different workouts. I owe it all to Destiny and Sydney who gave me a tour and got me started. They are the BEST, were NOT pushy and I don't regret my decision to join at all. This particular location is clean and well maintained.
