3 of my kids just stared gymnastics here. I was grateful they give a complimentary class before you sign up. They worked hard to figure out a perfect schedule for all 3 kids. I appreciate that there are 2 instructors per class, allowing for more personal instruction. They have a great variety of equipment and the kids get to use it!
Edit: We ended up leaving (all 4 kids). They didn't have a boys class above stage 2 and tried keeping my son at the same stage over and over without mention of no higher level. Some instructors were not instructing, just watching, my kids were stagnant, and my youngest just got to run around with little guidance. My daughter struggled and no one cared. They focused on the kids that were doing well.

I can’t say enough good things about Icon. My son has made more progress here in just a few months than he did in all the time we spent at another gym. The coaches really know how to connect with him—they keep him motivated, focused, and excited to learn. Watching his confidence and skills grow so quickly has been amazing. We just dropped my daughter’s class. After 2 years of classes in gymnastics she doesn’t know much more than when she started. I watch from the parents waiting area upstairs and the coaches do more chatting than teaching. The students do a lot of just standing around and waiting. Today they had here helping a new student with stuff instead of teaching her anything. She was very unhappy. She comes to learn herself not help people who are just starting. That is the coaches job. She was very disappointed today. We have been giving it some thought for some time. At any rate 2 years of training and she still can’t do much more than when she started. That is a lot of wasted money!!

Make up classes need to be more organized. No guidance to who my sons coach was going to be or roll call. Was just told to go on back, asked if this was the group we join for makeup class and sat with 3 different coaches and they separated after warm ups without asking my child to join either of the groups. Asked a 3rd time and finally got my answer. Recommend makeup classes with smaller group of kids.

My 3 year old daughter loves Flip It! The classes were so fun and helped her learn new skills and the teachers were absolutely amazing. They were so helpful and kind, and really show genuine love and interest in each of their students. The customer service was great, there was a mixup with our tuition and class schedule and they were so understanding and helpful and worked it out with me. Highly recommend!

Extremely disappointed with cleanliness and the lack of teaching given to the diaper dashers. For the price charged each month I would think the teacher would be present during the mommy and me class to help teach things to the kids. Instead they set up an obstacle course area and leave. The cubbies have gum and dirt on them and dust and dirt cover most surfaces. I feel for the price you are charging for toddlers to use your equipment it should be clean and have some interaction with the instructor and the kids.

My daughter took a trial class for cheer. The instructor was texting a majority of the time. No organization or instruction. Then she had the girls playing games. Free play, freeze tag, volleyball..very disappointing. My daughter was unhappy when we left. If you're looking for a class with instruction, progression and learning cheer skills, I would recommend another facility.

My kids love this place to run around and have fun! They’ve been here for about a year and haven’t really learned anything though… if you’re looking for a place to learn gymnastics I would go elsewhere. Also parents can only sit upstairs, and there’s only a few windows to see downstairs, but there’s so many people only a few get a view. Very crowded!

Editing to add: it’s now been a full year in, and neither of my kids can do a single thing. Not a cartwheel or good handstand. There’s hardly any improvement at all. I’m not even sure if they teach them? Again I can’t see because there is no room to sit. Taking them out

My 5 year old daughter has been going to Flip It for 6 months. At first we were excited and really enjoyed it, but after about two months she was still doing the same thing every class. After 6 months I can say I have never received communication about how she was doing in class, there is no talk about skills she needs to pass off to move up to the next class. After 6 months she can’t do a cartwheel because there has never been an attempt to teach her.

The parent viewing area is a joke. If you have any hope of watching your kid during class, go elsewhere. If you would like communication between you and the teachers, go elsewhere.

My 5 year old is in a lower class, and that may be the reason I have had this experience, but I would think they would treat me well because I have many years of paying for gymnastics ahead of me, but it won’t be here. Such a bummer!

We love this place! But my daughter loves it more. We’ve been going here for a few months now and it’s the best decision we have made for something extracurricular for her. The place is well put together and organized. The teachers keep my 4 yo daughter engaged and hold her accountable in a positive educational manner. Let me remind you she’s 4 so when she decides not do something they will show her how to do it properly with technique. It’s awesome to see the true engagement with the little ones and all the way up to the older kids. I can’t express how great of a place and I hear all the time from the other parents too.

My daughter (3 years old) used to love going to gymnastics, but a recent change has now made her ask to not go again. As of 2 weeks ago all of the chairs that parents used to be able to sit on and watch their toddlers are now gone. The area they have designated for parents is ridiculous. It’s not even close to the kids and there is only one window to even give you a glimpse into what your kids are doing (and parents are constantly fighting for a position in front of the window). It seems like zero thought went in to the layout of this place. If having chairs for parents to sit in is a “safety concern”, then maybe you should look at the layout of your whole gym. Expecting groups of 2-3 year olds to not be able to see their parents while being asked to try new things is not a recipe for success. If the revenue Flip It gets from teaching these young classes, you should really think about the experience from the parents perspective.

Very impressed with this gym we did 1 trial class with the team and we're very impressed with the time they spend with their girls team. Very professional and helpful. There is a lot of focus on technique and the coaches made sure the girls were practicing each part of the technique correctly constantly before they could move on to doing the full skill. The team girls were very smooth in all their skills, it was impressive to watch them and how they helped the girls build confidence. The coach to student ratio is amazing! The coaches were very positive and attentive to all the girls. We are definitely considering bringing our daughter to this gym to help her where she is struggling and we think she could really thrive.

We completely love Flip It Gymnastics! My son started at FlipIt Gym with Diaper Dashers (18 months - 3 years) in January 2021.
The coaches quickly noticed that my son should advance to a higher level of gymnastics. He was then placed in Tiny Hiny (3-4 year olds).
In June 2021, my son was able to advance into the Mini A class.
My son was always challenged to advance himself and always had amazing coaches to help him overcome the challenges of their classes. The coaches have always been so attentive with each child and challenge them to use their tiny limbs in ways they are not quite familiar with yet.

I enrolled my son with Flip It Gymnastics Preschool in August of 2021-current. He is always welcomed and he becomes excited for that day of learning.
I have noticed how much my son has advanced in many different areas. He has become more familiar with his colors, shapes, letters, animals, sharing, taking turns, independence, etc.
This class is everything I hoped for him to experience with school as a parent. Kids are engaged with crafts from the moment they walk in the door, they get some free play time in the gym. Lots of personal love and care from their teachers.Sarah and Teresa put a lot of energy into making everyone feel welcome. They really love the kids and it shows. I also love that they upload photos and videos of the students to an app everyday so parents can see what their child has done each day.

I bring my daughter here because she loves it but the experience as a parent is stressful. There are way too many little kids and not enough staff. Super crowded, both in the parking lot and inside. Not enough chairs to sit in inside and when I asked if there is a plan to add more, the answer was just no, that wouldn’t work. It’s times like this I realize how bad people are at customer service and riling if a business. It feels like the instructors, while pleasant, are distracted and have too much to pay attention to. Maybe it will improve. I can hope. Or, I will find another activity for my LO.

My kids attended a birthday party at this gym and I was INCREDIBLY impressed, especially with the head coach Chan. There were 20 kids participating and they were all under control, active at all times, and having the time of their lives! I have coached gymnastics and tumbling for 15+ years and have seen many disorganized gym parties (which is dangerous, and not much fun for the kids to stand around waiting, etc). This gym was clean, safe and very professional. It's a bit on the small side but the equipment is brand new, with tons of variety and an overflow of mats. I did a trial class here and was very disappointed in the structure. I arrived early so the lady at the front desk (who is not friendly at all) said they could just have some free time so my kids went out and jumped on the trampoline and I went upstairs. Once class began none of the instructors went over and got them. They are young so they didn’t know what they needed to do or anything, plus it was their first time ever doing something like this. So for the first 15 mins of class my kids were just running all the gym, they literally thought it was a open gym kind of thing. Then once the instructor realized they were part of the class she did go and get them. But I could hear the instructors talking and they kept asking what the order they were doing stuff and she kept asking the instructor in the baby class on the other side why they were doing things out of order and stuff. So I got very strong impressions that they are unorganized.

We moved our daughter here after having her in a "Big box store" of gymnastics and the change is AMAZING! ALL of the coaches know her by name and everyone is so friendly here. Our daughter was burned out on gymnastics to the point it wasn't fun for her anymore, Flip It made gymnastics fun again and she loves going there. We just had a Birthday party hosted by Flit It and all I can say is WOW!!! They have organized open floor time with multiple coaches to do games and obstacle courses and a large party room upstairs with all the space you could ever need! This place is the best! I took gymnastics and tumbling from the owners old gym in bountiful. I was an extremely shy kid, but I still felt so happy and comfortable there! Chan has a way of making everyone feel loved! I got to work as one of her coaches a few years ago and I can guarantee that she holds all of her coaches to a very high standard. If you’re looking to take your kids to a gym where they will have tons of fun, but also have the opportunity to grow as athletes this is the place!

I live up north and knew Chandra when she had Flips in bountiful. I took both my grand daughters to her gym as toddlers. She and her coaches were nothing short of FANTASTIC. My eldest granddaughter back then was non verbal and shy but Chandra with her loving, patient nature worked with her and she absolutely loved going to gymnastics. Her vivacious personality is contagious and children just loved her. She sincerely cares for each of her students like they’re her own babies and they feel it. Its true what they say “ great teachers form strong relationships with their students and show that they care about them as people”. Chandra and her team are warm, accessible, enthusiastic and CARING. Students success is Chandra number 1 priority. Whether she is coaching recreational toddlers or elite level, she understands and recognizes that every gymnast is different. She motivates each one of them to succeed at their own level. She doesn’t just work with their skill she works with their personalities and that’s why I believe her gymnasts succeed in reaching their full potential. I wished I lived closer because Flip it would be my #1choice for the ones I love.

I have known Chandra since high school where her energy level was contagious. All these years later, she still manages to bring her spunk, athleticism, and knowledge together in a way that motivates everyone around her. My daughter has been tumbling at Flip It since it first opened, and we have absolutely loved our experience there! The coaches are so positive, encouraging, and motivating! The front desk ladies always greet us with a smile and know us by name. A couple of times when I've called and they weren't able to answer, they called me right back when I hadn't even left a message! They are right on top of things! We love sitting up in the observation deck to watch our daughter during her lessons, its something we haven't been able to do at other locations.Also, I have known one of the owners for 30 years and can say she makes everyone around her feel like gold! Chan is truly one of the most genuine loving people I know, and she shows that to the kids she works with!

Chan is the absolute best!!! We started our kids at her gym when they could barely walk. She teaches SO much more than just gymnastics. She teaches kids gross motor skills, how to work hard, how to be a good sport and cheer for everyone, and yes..how to become great gymnasts. I would recommend her gym 💯%.

Chan is the best! She coached my kids from the time they were babies. Her program is both fun AND effective. Both my kids are currently competing and loving it. My son is in JD and My daughter is working to compete level 10 this year. I can honestly say Chan is a big reason why they fell in love with and continue to love the sport. Such a great gym. Both Maggie and Chandra are amazing! My daughter came to their old gym broken down by the terrible coaching atmosphere at her previous gym! Wonderful place for gymnastics!!! Chandra Hale is one of the most ambitious, compassionate, patient, and kind teacher I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. I live up north but will be sending my kids to Saratoga springs for gymnastics because she and her entire vision are worth the drive. You’ll find that she really cares about the safety and success of your child by the way she interacts with students and parents. Wonderful gym for various types of learns to succeed in. As I’ve observed the kids that have come out of her programs, I can tell that Chandra teaches life long lessons that young people know how to apply while in the gym and out of the gym. Absolutely love this gym and would recommend it to everyone! The coaches are so fun and they welcome children of all abilities. My 3 year old daughter has a severe speech delay and a sensory processing disorder, gymnastics was recommended as part of her occupational therapy.
