About the Club

Owned and operated by Shauntay Olson. Currently we offer classes for tumbling and cheer. Acrobatic Arts Certified to learn tumbling and partner skills safely. We teach growth mindset, we help with mental blocks and we teach confidence. We are very big on goals, progressions, and empowering our students! (We do not teach skills on a sprung floor of any kind, but we do teach on mats. We want each child to be able to take the skills they learn and transfer them directly to the dance/gym floor)

I really wanted to love this place with such high praise. We came from a large gymnastics place in Logan, but I was willing to move my daughter to a smaller gym if she got better technique and tumbling skills. Unfortunately, she did not advance in her level, she actually stopped tumbling at home, she was anxious to go to tumbling, and honestly digressed. She was doing backbends from standing on her own last summer, but got scared when she fell on her head. I figured this would be a couple weeks before she was confident again. All year she didn't learn it. She finally had it a week before the show, but said Shauntay wouldn't let her do it. At her last gym, the next level was learning back handsprings and flips. They had ALL kids learning this in a couple months. My daughter said they weren't allowed to learn back handsprings until they had their back walkover. As a former gymnast, nearly all of us would state the latter is much more difficult. At the end of year show, my mother and I were extremely disappointed in the technique and the even the highest level of tumblers. I went in once near the end of the year and saw there were way too many girls in class for such a small space and only one instructor with her daughter as an assistant. We couldn't watch them tumble all year, so I only knew that she wasn't doing handstands, back bends and cartwheels all the time and that she seemed anxious. I wish I would have pulled her out, but she was much cheaper and had higher praise than other local gyms. I also don't agree with the folder routine. Practice is needed at home, but there are much better ways to encourage that. I never had to require practice as homework before, she just loved doing it all day. So the requirement did the opposite for my daughter.

Shauntay is absolutely the best tumbling teacher my daughter has ever had! My daughter struggles with extreme anxiety and Shauntay has helped her conquer so many fears. She does self affirmations with the girls every class and makes every girl feel loved. She doesn’t just teach them how to tumble she helps them learn the skill technically correct. She is teaching my daughter not only to be a good tumbler but to be a good human being.

All 3 of my little girls love going to tumbling! Shauntay is great, especially with my 2 year old. My 2 year old is the smallest in the class but Shauntay makes an effort to help her participate and do all exercises and will personally help her. All of my girls adore Shauntay!
