We love this preschool so much!! The teachers and coaches are all wonderful. The bathrooms just need a little TLC.

Poor customer service, miscommunication, and lack of professionalism
1. Initial sign-up confusion: On August 13, I was told there were only two spots left in the Sept 2 class. Feeling pressured, I told Camille via text, “Let’s go ahead and get him signed up.” I then provided all of the requested information over the phone. At no point was I told this meant he was only being placed on a waiting list or that payment was required to secure his spot. Naturally, I believed my son was enrolled. This turned out not to be the case, which was a major miscommunication.
2. Tone of follow-up email: A week later, I received an email from Hollie stating that if I didn’t respond by noon, my son would be “dropped.” This message made it seem as though I had failed to follow through, even though I had already provided everything requested. The tone was abrupt and did not feel welcoming or professional.
3. Price change without notice: When I called back ready to make payment, I was told the monthly price had increased to $60, despite being quoted $55 just a week earlier. The sudden, unexplained increase further added to my concerns.
4. Response to feedback: When I was asked by Camille to clarify my concerns about communication and professionalism, I calmly explained the situation. Her reply accused me of “only seeking to be angry and upset,” despite my messages being polite and constructive. This reinforced my impression of poor customer service and unwillingness to take accountability.

Because of these issues and the way the situation was handled, I lost confidence in the consistency and professionalism of this program and decided not to enroll my child.

My daughter loved preschool with Jump up! The teachers were hands down the best ladies ever! They were so loving and sweet with the kids! I loved the stations the kids would rotate through. Great experience! The location was a little peculiar, but they had an amazing facility to do a little gymnastics as part of their rotations. My only critique would be the cleanliness of the facility outside of the preschool rooms. Which wouldn’t be a problem at all, but the little preschoolers had to use the bathrooms used by the whole facility which were standard size and always looked a bit dirty.

The preschool is AMAZING! Mrs. Kussee is literally the best teacher ever! She genuinely loves every kid and it shows! We are so sad she won’t be teaching pre K this year, but the new preschoolers coming in are the luckiest!
Side note though- the bathrooms could definitely use some TLC as well as some of the mats in the gym! Just a few upgrades would go a line way in my opinion!

Huge fan! My son (8) is doing parkour and the attention and guidance he gets from the Coaches is increda! It also helps that he's a HUGE fan of Calen so it feels like his parkour idol is giving him instructions and he absorbs everything.

There was even a time when I first started in the earlier classes and there were some...distractions, hah. I voiced my concern to the Admin team and it was handled and hasn't been an issue again.

They really do care about the experience that your child is having and do everything they can to put their best foot forward.

Huge fan. Thanks for being so great!

I tumbled here for multiple years and experience was by far the best out of all the other studios I have tried. I progressed an unbelievable amount and very quickly too. I have been in every single tumbling level here, and all of them are incredible, the highest level (specialties) was so much fun!

The coaches are so amazing, they are always kind and talk with you like a friend. All the coaches are incredibly good at correcting form etc… Jump Up has built my tumbling confidence immensely and has prepared me to go and try competing with it through cheer. Incredible experience, highly recommend.

I have two kids currently going to Jump Up and they love it! I have one kid in tumbling and one kid in parkour. Both kids are improving and learning new things. Jump up is full of committed coaches and staff, I've never had an unpleasant experience here in all the years we've been coming.

We drove up to watch our granddaughters do an annual performance they host every May. None of them compete yet. When they aren’t at the gym they all run around in leotards at home playing “coach”. It seems like a wonderful place for young kids to find confidence and body awareness.

Our family spends a lot of time here seeing that we have 3 really active daughters who live in their gymnastic leotards. Our oldest is only 7 and just trying to get into it competitively. She has been more than thrilled every time she passes of a skill and gets to ring the bell.

My 5 year old did pre school and Pre-K here before she stared in the basic gymnastics class. It was nice that she already knew some skills, felt comfortable in the gym and still gets to see her preschool coach(Coach Kelly) from time to time.

Last, but not least, we love that it is so inviting for parents to come watch. I can bring the extra girls in the parent room with me when one is in practice and it makes all the difference to feel like the whole family is welcome to be there and feel involved.

I'm so angry. My daughter was so excited to try beginning gymnastics. On her second class the teacher pushed her into a stretch that made her scream and held her there for 5 seconds while she screamed. I could hear her scream all way from the parent room. People turned in the gym to look at her. I saw the whole interaction happen. My daughter instantly wanted to quit gymnastics and I don't blame her after that trauma. Completely inappropriate behavior to force another human being into a stretch. She was already trying her best and had been practicing that stretch all week. I don't want an athlete. I want a happy child. I'll never bring my kids here again.

We go to the toddler ninja class. I was so happy they had a free trial class. My toddler loved it and we signed up. Communication through email is very fast.

I was delightfully surprised by these teenage coaches. They are so nice and patient with the kids. When some kids are really shy they go out of their way to hold their hand and give them high fives to make them feel comfortable.

I’ve taken both my daughters to Jump Up for years. Overall we’ve been very happy. Celeste is amazing, if I could have her teach all the classes I would! The reason for the 4 star review is because not all the teachers are great. We’ve had one teacher in particular that I was really unhappy with. My daughter is only 4 but she was not teaching her basic proper technique (I honestly don’t think she knew proper technique). She just kinda threw the kids around instead of teaching them how to execute the skill properly. It’s crucial to learn proper technique from the beginning so they can progress. I also didn’t like the way she interacted with the kids. So besides that, I highly recommend Jump Up. I would just be selective with the teachers you choose. I switched my daughter to a new teacher last week and she has already been night and day better!

We love Jump Up Gymnastics! We moved here from another facility and feel that our daughter has way more fun here and has improved her skills which has improved her confidence which equals more fun! The classes are much smaller and the teachers are more energetic and engaged. The facility is also less busy so the kids can focus!

I loved this gymnastics group! Despite my very high energy daughter, the members of the staff worked tirelessly to chase, catch, and eventually teach my daughter some of the basics of gymnastics. They were very patient and understanding. I highly recommend Jump Up Gymnastics!

All 3 of my girls are too young to compete, but we love the environment and the coaches here. I’ve noticed they’re really attentive to even the little toddler students. It offers a small gym vibe even though it’s always full. Plus the coaches double as hairstylists when scrunchies rip. 😉

My kids have been coming to this gym for several years now. They’ve done tumbling, parkour and gymnastics and we’ve had positive experiences with all of it. Great coaches who push but don’t belittle. It’s a fun, positive uplifting environment and my kids love it! And Hollie in the office is SOO responsive and helpful with questions/concerns and so great to work with. We love Jump Up!

I love this gym! The team coaches actually “coach” the girls and help them understand what they need to do to improve their skills. It’s an environment where your gymnast can grow. We are so happy we moved to this team and my daughter has had amazing growth personally and physically in her sport of gymnastics since moving here. The team girls are amazingly kind and build each other up. If you want a place where your gymnast can be successful, I would recommend them coming to Jump Up Gymnastics!

Update: the beginning Parkour class here is great - and we tried about 5 other trial classes at other gyms too. They teach basic tumbling WITH parkour skills and really work with each child. It's fast moving and fun for the kids.

The rest of this review is from 2020, and it sounds like there might be some changes that have been made since that time.

We tried the classes (mommy and me, and 3-5 year olds) here two different times, each for a month. Celeste is fantastic, but there seemed to be a negative dynamic with and between the other teachers, and from the teachers to the parents. It wasn't the best atmosphere and it was not encouraging for the kids. Toddlers need some encouragement and excitement directed towards them, and that was missing here. It was too bad because their set up is actually really great.

Great gym. Highly recommend. I have two attending tumbling class. The coaches are excellent and really care. On multiple occasions coaches have pulled one or both of my girls after class to give them extra one on one and attempts to complete a skill or technique. Great coaches come from great leadership/Management. Many times they are on the floor too help out, whether after class or pulling a student from a station to give extra help so they can excel. I would also recommend the preschool. The teachers are so good with the kids.

This place is terrible. Don’t waste your time. I would give it zero stars if I could. They cancelled my sons class with an email that went to my junk folder. They couldn’t be bothered to call me and the other 7 parents in the class. Also it’s very dirty and they were totally unwilling to amend their new schedule that they made without any warning.

My daughter has been here for about 6 months, doing level 1 gymnastics 2x/wk. They recently increased their prices by $15/mo which is a crazy increase at one time, so I trialed a few other tumbling/gymnastics places around me and this is by far the best. The other places had no structure, most of the class was spent scrambling on what to do next with no real direction. Jump Up has a strict curriculum, pass offs monthly so they are actually working towards something, and great coaches. We will be staying despite the crazy price increase.

We have been in the Tiger Tots program since Nov. my daughter has experienced two coaches mostly as we switched days but she has also had time with two others as well. The program here is great!! Kids warm up, go to bar, floor and then each week we switch off for balance beam or vault and then a game at the end.
This class has taught her more than just the skills to control her body, it has taught her patience and how to take turns. Granted she is still 2 and sometimes she has off days but she has come a long way since her first classes.

Also I love how supportive they are of me as a parent with a newborn that comes along. So thank you. We will be continuing to come and just wanted to review our support!

My 3-4 has been doing their pre school class for almost a year. And it’s ok. Having been a gymnast for many years and even coached pre school gymnastics for a long time before having kids I expected more from this gym. They are so focused on the kids pointing their toes instead of just letting the kids have a positive experience. There is a TON of standing around time because the coaches spend way too much individual time on each kid. Over all too much technical work with a bunch of toddlers and not enough basic fun. Also there is no trampoline which I feel is a must with toddler gymnastics

We had a great experience with Jump Up. My daughter enjoyed her tumbling class and increased her skills. When when we needed to drop her class for personal reasons, it was easy to call in and cancel over the phone. And they refunded the month of tuition I had already paid. Super easy to work with. I would highly recommend Jump Up!

So, I'm giving Jump Up 3 stars because my daughter loves coming here. She does the preschool program and she loves her teacher, who is very nice and she has enjoyed doing the gymnastics part.

The office on the other hand.. could use some better people skills. Dealing with them has never been a pleasant experience for me, but if you don't mind dealing with onery people once in a while, you should bring your kid(s) here anyway :)

After a less than stellar experience with the city recreation gymnastics I was recommended by a neighbor to try Jump Up. I submitted the online form for a trial class for my child and was promptly called back. I scheduled an appointment and when we got to the facility they had no record of my appointment. The staff was not helpful. They didn't even try to find out why they had no record of the appointment or try and find someone for us to talk to about it so we left. Due to my dissatisfaction with the experience I called the facility back myself to find out why. I had to leave a message, and unfortunately no one called me back.

My kids love coming here for gymnastics. I have the weekly class and my daughter in their preschool program. Their preschool is AMAZING! They learn and teach them a well balanced curriculum and it's a good price. The instructors don't yell like this other reviewer says, I have been there for many classes because my other daughter is in the mommy and me class and the instructors are so nice and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone, and it's a good price!!
