I had an amazing time at Reese's beginner 1 class! She didn't just teach us the moves, she showed us how to execute them seamlessly, breaking it down from different angles - literally! She took the time to demonstrate from the floor and the traditional way, making sure we understood every step. What really stood out was her attention to detail - she watched each of us carefully, ensuring our arm and leg placements were spot on. And let me tell you, her encouragement was through the roof! She instilled a 'you got this' mentality, even when we thought we couldn't. The warm-up stretches and workout left me feeling stretched out and a bit sore, in the best way possible! I love her teaching style, and the best part? She gives us 10 minutes at the end to practice what we learned or freestyle - it's the perfect way to boost your confidence and get those endorphins pumping!

I did some classes here about 2 years ago so I cannot speak to the current environment but the main complaint i have is that classes are not structured enough. The instructors don't follow a lesson plan, they decide what you will learn depending on what they feel like teaching that day so it's hard to build your skills. If they had a syllabus (df dance studio does this with their classes) it would be structured, you could build week by week on what you learned. The class set up was frustrating for that reason and made it so I didn't want to renew my membership after the first month.

I love this studio! The instructors are very knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. La Bombe has a few beginner classes but is catered more to those who have a bit of experience. If you want a fun variety of class options and don't want to share a pole, La Bombe is the way to go.

Not a great experience
Price is too high for what they have you to in the class

This studio is an absolute gem! The instructors are incredible—so knowledgeable, supportive, and truly passionate about what they do. Whether you’re a total beginner or looking to polish advanced tricks, they’ve got you covered.
What I love most is the variety of class options. Whether you’re into tricks, flow, or choreography, there’s something for everyone.
The pricing is very reasonable, especially considering how specialized the knowledge and training is. You’re getting high-quality instruction and such a positive community—it’s worth every penny.
If you’ve ever been curious about trying pole or just want to feel empowered while having an amazing time, I couldn’t recommend this place more!

La Bombe is my happy place! I was nervous when I took the plunge and tried out my first class, but after that class, I never looked back. All the instructors I have worked with are amazing, patient, encouraging, and knowledgeable. As a plus-sized girly who loves to dance, taking classes at La Bombe had been empowering, challenging, and enlightening. The atmosphere in the studio makes it so easy to feel included no matter your age, size, or level. If you’ve been thinking about trying pole, this is your sign to register at La Bombe! ❤️

Admittedly the first class was kinda overwhelming, not knowing the flow and everyone else was not so beginner and was able to easily do the moves. The second class was much better And has gotten more fun with each class taken. Yosis is an amazing instructor for beginners. She really breaks down the move slowly and talks about the muscles being engaged which is super helpful
If you’re nervous here’s a run down of how the first class will go.
In the back corner there are towels and bottles of rubbing alcohol for the poles to wipe down as you get sweaty so you can have a good grip. They have yoga mats to borrow for the warm up that you wipe down afterwards. At the beginning there will be a warm up
Often 3 laps around the room, jumping jacks, etc. then doing some conditioning exercises/ stretches. And then the class. Every class is different some times it’s easier than others but everyone there has been super nice and helpful. Studio is nice and clean

I have been coming to this studio for 2 years and it feels like my second home and family! Everyone is so supportive, when I was first starting out and felt awkward everyone cheered me on and I felt like I could do anything. All the instructors are fabulous each has their own unique way of teaching. It is also amazing cardio, it builds strength and flexibility!! Love it here 🩷🩷🩷

I’m so grateful for this studio! This is one of my happiest places! I have been a student for 3 years. The teachers each have something special to offer, and the students are so sweet and supportive of each other. Getting into pole has truly changed my life, and this amazing studio has ruined me.. you’ll never have to share a pole, the vibe is laid back and comfortable.. and the class passes are very reasonably priced. There are so many good things I can say about this studio!

I thought it was just just me but it seems that others have had similar experiences. I went for the exotic pole class on Wednesday . The only friendly person was a female with locs that I had seen when I came in to inquire before. I am looking for a studio to come to consistently and I really wanted this to be it since it’s in a convenient location for me . However, the instructor clearly seen I was new to the class and never introduced herself or gave an overview of the class. She just kept glancing at me through the mirror. Then she just jumped in. I also was the only one without shoes and had to ask her for modifications to the moves though it was clear I didn’t have heels on. Overall, I didn’t feel welcome and I couldn’t wait for the class to finish. It wasn’t a place I felt I could be vulnerable and learn

Definitely NOT for beginners/first timers.
I attended the bombshell 1 class and I have to say I was quite disappointed with my experience here. It's advertised as "great for first timers" however there was no basic instruction or intro/education, just straight into intermediate moves with little attention paid to the newbies. Not sure if this was just the instructor I had, but I would not recommend this class to someone new to pole. Additionally the environment was not friendly or welcoming, it was all quite impersonal. I wanted to like it and I may give pole another try in the future, as its really fun when you do get a move down, I'll just try my luck with somewhere else I think. ✌️

Such a great studio! All the teachers are super sweet, fun, and patient. I’ve found this is a place where women of any shape or size can come to get strong and gain confidence. It’s especially fun when the colored disco lights are on during class!

Would not recommend coming here if you’re a beginner. Took a bombshell 1 class expecting to work on the basics since that’s what the class description stated. By the end of the class the instructor was attempting to teach us tricks wayyy out of our skill level. Almost all of us couldn’t even climb the pole or do a basic fireman spin, yet we still moved on to higher and higher level tricks that involved inversions and handstands. Mind you this was the first ever pole class the majority of us had ever taken. It felt very unsafe and all around very uncomfortable. The instructor should be able to read the room and make sure the students are comfortable, confident, and ready before moving on to a more advanced skill. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe it was just a one off thing but when I tried reaching out to them privately they never got back to me.

Ever since I started here 7 months ago I’ve been absolutely addicted. Mari is my favorite teacher and she’s taught me so much AND the passes are super affordable. I went to another studio but unfortunately couldn’t afford it so I had to stop but I’m so glad I found this place and have found such a nice community of dancers.

This place is so amazing. Kelly is so sweet and welcoming always. She is the soul of the studio and you can tell she makes it a priority to make sure everyone has the space to be themselves and really express themselves through dance without feeling judged. There’s something so healing about this place. She also offers a great variety of classes. You have classes advanced enough for experienced dancers and classes elemental enough for beginners. Wherever you are in your journey, I recommend. Sadly I moved and I can’t attend anymore, I greatly miss it! If you do have the chance to go, I wouldn’t miss it. Thank you Kelly!

Seriously, I can’t express how much we loved our party with Kelley! We did a bachelorette party and all of us were newbies, some of us real shy. The class was perfect! Everything from the customer service before, during, and even after; the cleanliness and atmosphere of the studio; and the instruction. WE LOVED OUR INSTRUCTOR. Our confidence increased exponentially during that party! I could go on and on. All in all, (not expensive at all but) definitely worth every single penny and more!

I love this place! The instructors are way fun and inviting, and the class size is small enough I can get personal attention while still meeting new people. I can really get a sense of each teacher’s personality and style, so even level 1 classes taught by different instructors throughout the week give me a well rounded experience :)

I went with a large group of friends to La Bombe Pole Fitness for a bachelorette party. We rented it out and were really looking forward to this for weeks. But when we got there we were so DISAPPOINTED! The entire class the instructor played rock music which we all disliked. We repeatedly asked the dance instructor to play another genre on music. Seeing that we are the paying customers and we were told we could choose the music it shouldn’t have been a big deal. The instructor kept saying she would change the music but never did. THE ENTIRE TIME WE ONLY GOT TO LISTEN TO ONE SONG WE LIKED. It was so frustrating. It was supposed to be a fun experience for the bride but we were so bothered by the instructors utter disregard for us we could not enjoy it. In the last 10 minutes I again asked to change the music and the instructor said “Be patient!!” Very sharply! It was so unprofessional and rude. We were all taken back by her poor behavior. The instructor was more worried about playing music she liked than making it a good experience for her customers. I was so disappointed. I had the highest hopes and we let down. I still can’t believe how blatantly rude the staff was.
The Salt Mine pole dancing class is a much better experience! Go there if you are looking for a fun pole dancing class!

This studio is located in Millcreek, Utah and is actually the closest studio to me, so I was highly hoping that this would become my main studio. The building is compact with many other business surrounding the plaza. Once you walk in, the front desk is to your right and compartments for your stuff is to your left. It is very well lit with many poles in a slightly cramped area. The class I went to was pretty packed, there were only 1-2 free poles left in the studio.
The teacher was teaching using the middle front pole, as per usual. The class I took was a beginners class (Bombshell I) and was $20 for the class. I came a little late, so I missed most of the stretching and I joined in for the first trick after doing a little of my own personal stretching.
As we were learning the tricks, I felt like the class was rushed. I really enjoyed how many different tricks I was learning, but I was not able to really get it down and the teacher only came around to see how we were doing for some tricks and sometimes would not get to everyone before teaching the next trick. The pace and the minimal help that I was receiving made it difficult to really get anything down.
Overall, I really enjoyed how many different things I learned in the 1 hour class; this class introduced me to the most pole tricks I've ever been exposed to through one class. However, I felt like the class was impersonal and rushed. I have been into pole fitness for a few months now and I have been searching around Utah for my perfect pole studio. La Bombe was one of the last studios I looked into and out of all of the studios I had gone to, this studio was the worst fit for me.

When I went for the first time, it was a good experience, no problems at all. Second time, no one helped me in the class, there was no real curriculum, it was like they didn't want me there. The biggest issue I've had though, is the fact that their business is overly confusing. From the scheduling posted on their site vs Google, to their location changing, I've even called several times with no answer. I'm surprised a business isn't answering their phone by the seventh call. Probably look somewhere else to go to pole.

I was pretty disappointed with La bombe, I went to a beginner spinning class, and the instructor (hannah) was more preoccupied with staring at her self in the mirror rather than actually instructing the class, this is not the appropriate was to teach a "fitness" class, the instructions were not clear, and the instructor was all over the place, this could also be a very dangerous situation. Not worth 20$ at all, I'm glad I didn't purchase a punch pass.
I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I was a beginner when i first stepped foot into La Bombe and i've gotta say, super awesome! I learned so much so quickly. The instructors try to go through it all quickly because you do only have an hour, but if you have any questions they will take time to answer them. One suggestion is to bring your own supplies for sweaty hands.

Best pole studio in Utah!!!!!!! I started pole with Hannah and she is the absolute Best!!!!! All the instructors here are absolutely wonderful though. The studio is very clean and I feel very comfortable when I am there. The instructors are very knowledgeable and you can feel safe when needing someone to spot you. The rates are very reasonable for pole fitness and the owner Kelley is so friendly and kind! I couldn't imagine a better place for a fun way to workout. I highly recommend La Bombe, you won't find better!!!!

SO today was my first day and I felt welcome. I had great conversation at the desk and I was just horrible in dancing yet Shelley helped me in what I was doing wrong and helped me in which way is up and down. I will definitely going back next week. My arms are so sore so I know I will be sent in no time. Fun experience and exercise:)
