Had a great time at Lila Studio! I’m a beginner at yoga and felt instantly welcomed and offered different modifications for my level. The space is vibey and there’s a lot of room for people to practice yoga and mingle. Best yoga studio in SLC by far - will definitely be back!

Lila Yoga Studio is a sanctuary of peace and connection. From the moment you walk in β€” the sound of the waterfall, the Buddha’s quiet presence, a teapot waiting in the sitting area β€” you feel held. The energy is warm, loving, and real.

Chanda’s classes are deeply intentional β€” she teaches from the heart and creates a sense of true community. Lila isn’t just a yoga studio; it’s a place where you come home to yourself.

Lila Studio is a spacious, beautiful, welcoming studio located in Sugarhouse. This studio truly has something for everyone - I’ve loved the vinyasa classes for power and energy and the somatic restore & yin classes to slow down.

Every teacher is wonderful, super experienced and knowledgeable. The space is also like a 2nd home! Free tea and lots of spots to sit down and chat. I love the community feel at Lila… I moved here a year ago and struggled to meet people but have made so many good friends through this studio!

Lila Studio is a beautiful and cozy venue with stunning chandeliers and intimate spaces for unforgettable events. The Little Blue Bar had the pleasure of bartending a wedding reception full of whimsy, love, and β€˜Doctor Who’ themed cocktails, softly lit by the glow of vintage lamps and accompanied by the soft trickle of the sweet tea fountain. Chanda, event coordinator, was communicative and eager to aid our bartenders Bridgette and Ryan, guiding through service entrances and providing gorgeous spaces to serve our guests. Lila Studio has a charming wooden bar table our bartenders used and had great surrounding storage and decor to further accessorize the venue and maximize our service space. We loved getting to work alongside Lila Studio in hosting such a beautiful wedding and look forward to future collaborations!

Great company to work with. Local yoga studio with an owner that cares not about business, but about the philosophy of yoga and its teachings. She spends a good chunk of each year in Bali learning more and training and improving her teaching skills and herself. Highly recommend

Lila Studio is absolutely sublime! My tension immediately melted away the moment I walked in. Olivia, the instructor, was kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. She payed attention to each member of the class, reminding us it was our yoga. I was challenged and enjoyed every moment so much that, I'm going back tomorrow!

Since moving to SLC last January I've been looking for a yoga studio that suits me and this is it. They have a great introductory rate for anyone wanting to try a new place.

I usually opt for a restorative, and also tried the "hips and heart" class - genius. I also love that they have a weekly sound bath and themed classes in rotation.

I found it easy to work the classes I want into my non-traditional work schedule. The instructors I met were all warm and genuinely welcoming. I found that the classes I attended toed the line of being a little woo-woo spiritual without making assumptions or alienating anyone in the room.

One of my pet peeves in yoga is when instructors navigate my inner experience - this hasn't happened at Lila.

Thank you for the beautiful community space you've created.

We rented this space for an event and were so pleased with every aspect of the process and location. The owner was gracious and accommodating, and the space was the best we have rented so far, with gorgeous decor and lighting. Very highly recommended as an event space!

This morning I went to my first ever in person yoga class and I am SOOOOO glad I chose Lila Studio. I took Restorative Yoga with Lisa A. and she created such a warm and welcoming, gentle and cozy space for me to dip my toes in. I was also so happy to connect with a few ppl in class and have some friendly chats before and after. What a lovely space. I’ll be back :) *photo is my genuine smile after class

The restorative flow course was suggested as a beginner with back problems. Even though we were encouraged to listen to our bodies, I felt the poses were too advanced with no alternatives for me.

I had only been to one Yoga class prior to attending Alexa's class at Lila, and the atmosphere/practice/overall impression was amazing for a beginner. I felt like I was progressing already. I'll certainly be back!

Incredible, caring teachers that keep practices fun, insightful, and restorative. Beyond that, they’re consistently great - every class has been top tier and incorporated new and powerful ways to set intention, be present, and achieve your yogi goals. Love how teachers weave in poetry, singing bowls, calming music, and more. Y’all are the best!

There aren’t enough good things to say about this studio. Yoga and specifically Lila Studio have complemented my personal healing journey over the past year, tremendously. All the classes are warm, serene, beautiful and moving. It’s a spiritual experience and I love that all the instructors provide a unique style. I knew very little about yoga before becoming a member here, it’s a fantastic studio for any level practice.

We love this studio! The setting is peaceful and positive. They have a group of teachers who REALLY CARE. They offer a nice variety of different classes. I would recommend Lila Studio for any level of practitioner, beginner to advanced. Try one of the "Candlelight Flow" classes, they are blissful!

What a beautiful studio! I took the Hatha Yoga class, having Sohan as the teacher. I was deeply comfortable and had a wonderful experience. Sohan was prestigious with her ability to guide, while at the same time, revealing alternative routes to each pose. I never felt or heard anything that would make feel like I was going in a wrong direction. I applaud you, Sohan. You opened up the space and guided all of us through an inner journey, unique to each one of us.

Yoga is one of the few aspects of my life where I can be completely at ease and vulnerable. Over the last 6ish weeks, I've take a variety of the classes offered here. The classes have beautiful flow and are always presented as an offering allowing you to make your practice your own, only accepting what you need. Expectations float away and it's you, your mat, and the pulsating collective breath of the class.

I feel safe here. I feel welcomed here. I feel a sense of community. Come breathe here, you won't be disappointed.

I purchased the 5 class pass on Groupon a few months ago. Since then I have called several times to inquire about redeeming the class pass and have received no call back despite leaving a message with my name and number each time. The answering machine is for Lila yoga so I know I am calling the right number. I dropped in for a class after it became apparent I would not receive a call back but the instructor said they did not know if my class pass was accepted and said they would have the owner call me. I still have not received a call.

We planned to get married here a year ago we paid in full for the wedding. We had to cancel the wedding due to the pandemic. At first we received a partial payment and agreed to accept payments because businesses have really been affected by the pandemic. Then they claimed we did not cancel in time for a refund we reviewed and sent them THEIR policy to show we had after receiving little communication and being patient they still owe us a thousand dollars. We just received a email saying how their business has suffered. Asking if we could donate our remaining funds to them because of the pandemic. I would never recommend any one scheduled an event here. Poor business management.

I've been a student here for several years, and I love it so much I convinced my husband to have our wedding here. It was absolutely spectacular - the perfect venue - and many of our guests commented on how beautiful the space was, from the picturesque back patio and garden to the beautiful hardwood floors and exposed brick of the studio room. We are so happy to have chosen this place for such a meaningful day of our lives - not to mention that the staff was incredibly helpful with setup, tear down, and generally just making sure everything went as planned. I can't rate it highly enough. Will post pictures when I get them back from the photographer!

Avenues Yoga is incredible for many reasons, but I am writing this mainly because of my experience with their event services. I recently had my wedding here, and the whole experience was so wonderful. Chanda helped every step of the way, essentially serving the role as our wedding planner! She organized all event rentals, ordered our flowers, provided us with a bartender, helped with setup/cleanup, AND did our photography! Talk about incredible service! The wedding itself was so beautiful- I could not have imagined a better venue. All of our guests had a great time, and I simply cannot thanks Avenues Yoga enough for this.

I recently got married at Avenues Yoga (Yes! They have fabulous yoga classes AND they also have events in the space! How cool is that?!). Our ceremony and reception was totally smooth sailing! Working with Chanda at Avenues Yoga was just awesome! Chanda and her staff are incredibly professional, so very creative, and were helpful throughout the wedding to make sure every detail was perfect for our big day.
The space is beautiful, from the brick walls to the courtyard - it just creates an enchanting space for hosting any event. The space is perfect, the staff is top-notch, and Chanda's creative eye and knowledge of hosting events just made this choice perfect for our wedding.
I highly recommend you consider this gem for your big day too! You will not be disappointed!

I love Avenues Yoga! I started practicing yoga about four years ago at a local gym. I was looking to deepen my practice so I started checking out some studios. I shopped around for awhile and was so happy when I found Avenues--it is by far my favorite. The best way to describe it is humble and down to earth. Walking through the door feels like home. The atmosphere is welcoming and non-competitive. The teachers are knowledgeable and caring. I told one of the teachers I was concerned about a recent injury so she cued the entire class with modifications to help me--so unexpected and kind of her. I look forward to my Avenues class every week. The classes are an opportunity to slow down, relax, and recenter, which is so needed for me after a long week. I am so happy I stumbled upon this studio. Thank you, Avenues Yoga!

After nearly ten years of practicing yoga, this is the first studio I could honestly say felt like home. Every instructor I've taken a class from is amazing and very attuned to the needs of their students. Class sizes are small, ensuring personal attention and plenty of space to stretch. I've been in classes as small as one, but never larger than roughly two dozen. If it's your first time in a class (any class, not just at the studio), a teacher will often take the time to introduce themselves, to learn your name and ask about any special needs you may have. The space is beautiful: exposed brick and wood; giant windows with lots of natural light.

I started here with their introductory pass, intending to studio-hop for a while and never left. I try to attend between four and six classes a week and I always leave feeling better and more at peace than when I arrived, no matter what's happening in the outside world. If small class sizes, caring teachers and a peaceful and subtle approach appeal to you, this is certainly your studio.

Having studied and practiced Yoga at a donation-based studio in Los Angeles, I moved here hoping to find something similar---a yoga community centered upon the true spirit of yoga.

Having heard so many raves about Centered City, I decided to check it out. I was sorely disappointed in the "perfection pretense" I felt there. The classes were so packed, I hardly had room to lay my mat, and I felt oddly out of place that my yoga attire wasn't name brand nor my body as cut as the ten triathletes next to me.

Finally, after six months of "yoga studio shopping" between park city and slc, I was fortunate to stumble upon Avenues Yoga. An un-assuming, welcoming community of all types of yoga-hearted individuals--from the total novice to the well-trained but humble daily practitioner.

My only hope is the Avenues will find a way to make a monthly pass less cost-prohibitive. Though no more expensive than similar establishments, I cannot afford the $115 dollars a month for the unlimited pass.
