Rob is a great coach. I came to him not even knowing how to hold a club properly. He's been so kind and patient in helping me with my swing. He's quick to adjust his teaching approach when it's obvious that I'm struggling to grasp something. My son is a much better golfer and Rob has helped improve his game by a lot. I started golfing just last year, and I can confidently say I credit all of my progress to Rob. Robs not just an incredible coach, but one of the best people you’ll meet. He’s taught me the right form and fundamentals that have set me up for success.

Rob is an outstanding golf instructor. He is passionate about teaching golf and it shows. I traveled from Cheyenne, WY to take a series of six lessons from Rob in a two week period. We worked on all aspects of the game and the lessons culminated in a 9 hole playing lesson. Rob did not try to reinvent my swing or change it to the status quo. He works with what is presented and gives easy to understand recommendations and provides translatable swing keys. My swing is better after the lessons with Rob and the playing lesson will give me the ability to take my swing to the course. I feel that his fees are very reasonable. Thank you Rob!

My daughter started taking lessons with Rob about six months ago. She is seven now, six at the time she started. Her progression in such a short time is mind-blowing. On top of that, he knows how to work with kids. As a parent, I know how hard it can be with kids and their attention spans. It's awe-inspiring how he navigates the whole experience. I’m hoping Rob will continue to coach for many more years, at least until he helps my daughter get her college scholarship ;)

Side note. I’m about an 8 - 13 handicap. Nothing special. I decided to have Rob work with me on my mid-iron. I can tell you this, in the first lesson, he had me shaping the ball left or right. In my second lesson, he took my 7 Iron from 87.5 MPH / 170 yards (carry) to 95 MPH / 190 yards (carry ). With no more stress on my back or body. I didn’t expect that; so impressed.

Ladies! It can be embarrassing and difficult getting into golf especially when your significant other is already good. My husband and I both are taking lessons from Rob and he is absolutely amazing!!! My husband is working on fine tuning more complex aspects while I started from 0 and both of us have had an amazing experience and seen incredible improvement. My husband and I can now compete with each other. Rob can effectively communicate how to change things in your swing regardless of your level and he is flexible and willing to take your swing and make the most out of it if you already have a swing you are use to. Don’t hesitate to take lessons with him, plus he has an indoor simulator so it doesn’t matter what the weather is he will help you out. He is always calling and texting to help and give tips, this man cares. If you don’t know where to start, start with Rob Mclam.

Working with Rob was a great experience. He was able to answer all my questions and I felt the lessons were tailored just right for me. He was able to evaluate my swing and leave me with specific things to work on in between lessons. EXCELLENT, we are very grateful and delighted with Rob’s professionalism, patience and especially his ability to connect with our son to train him in golf.

We are from Bolivia and we spent a month in Utah visiting family, we took the opportunity for my 9-year-old son to train golf with Rob, from the first day we were impressed by the technology he used to improve his swing in the long game, when we went out to the golf course, Rob helped him with his short game and improved 100%.

Thanks to his training, Felipe gained a lot of confidence and was able to participate for the first time in a USKIDS Local Tournament.

I wish I would have come to Coach Rob before I ever even picked up a golf club. I was "self-taught" getting tips from playing partners or YouTube and I developed a lot of bad habits. Bad technique made it hard to enjoy the game at all, I sliced my driver, missed fairways, hit my irons inconsistently and was three putting on every single hole. I'm still working on a lot but I am enjoying the game much more now thanks to Coach Rob. He is great at identifying what you need to change and giving drills to address the issue, I can't say enough good things about my experience.

I had a good experience with Rob. I took 3 1-hour lessons with him. He has been teaching/coaching golf for many years. That's what you should expect when getting lessons from him, he approaches each lesson like a teacher. I mention this because not all instructors have that ability to teach a fundamental, some just know a lot about the game of golf. Rob knows a lot about the game of golf plus he is able to teach it. Coach Rob was awesome. He got on the phone with me before I booked the 3 lesson package and talked with me about my background in golf and got an idea for where I was at. I told him I was wanting a full breakdown and fundamentals for my golf swing and the lessons were great. He gave me some great drills and taught me what I can look for when I practice on my own. I have had Rob as my golf instructor for a very long time. He is by far the best instructor I have ever had. I remember one of my first lessons with him. I was the youngest and smallest kid there. I couldn’t hit nearly as far as the other kids, but Rob came up to me and told me to not worry about how far I was able to hit the ball. He told me to just focus on my swing and make sure that it was a good swing. I took his advice and that has helped me want to play golf still.
Rob is a very kind and patient person. When I first started taking private lessons from him, he was always able to make me laugh while still teaching me a lot. When I was younger, I used to do something weird with my swing. With Rob’s help, I was able to fix it and I haven’t done that since he helped me correct it.
Because of his help and what he has taught me, I am able to be the golfer I am today. I have really appreciated Rob’s help over the years he has taught me, and I would happily recommend him to anyone who wants to learn or who wants to improve. I've known Rob for years and was excited to take lessons from him. I've never really golfed before and honestly didn't have any idea on how to even hold the club.
After just a few lessons I knew the CORRECT fundamentals and had a great foundation to build on. Rob simplified the theories and form in a way that was easy to understand and incorporate.
