This place makes me understand why the mayor in Footloose banned dancing. They play their music so loud it rattles the bookshelves in the store next door. And for some reason theyβre always screaming. There are no words to express how annoying it is. If youβre gonna take a class here then donβt forget your earplugs.

After not dancing for two years due to knee surgery I started dancing again after taking my first class here. Everyone is so friendly here and there are a lot of places that give off toxic dance community vibes, this is not one of those places. When you ask teachers for feedback, they actually give you feedback and when you ask questions they are very patient. Iβve learned so much from Morgen Call when she said to dance with eye contact; I learned so much from Jason Pickett when he said that we all have bad dance days and trying is what matters most; I learned so much from Mel Worley when she really explains basic moves in a clear, understandable and digestible way. A lot of other teachers deserve to be mentioned but I think you should just come and see for yourself how hardworking everyone is and how welcoming this dance community can be. I will be moving out of Utah soon but I will really miss this place because they make you feel like weβre all a big family.

This is my home! This studio has brought so many world renowned professional dancers and artist! Just this year we got Janet Jackson and she really blessed the community with surprising them and see us dance!

Pretty disappointed was super excited to check this place out but after searching the mall for a good 10 minutes, AFTER I followed google maps to the wrong location the door was locked and I couldn't make it into class... been wanting to visit for years and finally found time on vacation to be utterly disappointed. Was going to take a second class as a back up plan to only have that be canceled last minute. The only good thing was that I did not pre pay and was planning to pay at the door. Make sure you let the studio know you are coming as a new a student because they don't seem to cater to drop ins and comes off unprofessional

This place is a joke. Some of the most unprofessional places I have ever been. Most times I have come the instructors are a no show or cancel after the class started. When they do show up they show 15 to 30 min late. I tried to ask for a refund and they just told me all they will do is give me a free class. Iβm so done with this place.

I have been to this studio a couple times and every. Single. Time. The class I want to attend is cancelled when I arrive. Even after checking their website, app, and Instagram for their schedule, they cancel classes last minute. I understand that if a class isnβt full they canβt have it but they need to communicate that on at least their social media before the start time of the class.
Itβs super frustrating to spend so much time driving downtown (their place is SO hard to find) only for them to not have classes they have advertised on their app and website that literally have todayβs date on them. I have no idea what the quality of their teachers is because Iβve never been able to take a class. It could be a great studio as far as education goes but this is so unprofessional.

I'm sad to give such a bad rating but all the classes that I tried to go to were cancelled. Apparently this happens alot on Saturdays so don't go on a Saturday.
The gals behind the computer mentioned that the owner's go out of town frequently so the schedule online doesn't get updated and communication isn't great, but that shouldn't be an excuse. I thought this dance studio would be more professional since the one in LA is so popular, but I was definitely wrong.
(Also they don't do refunds so don't get a class card if you're visiting. I made the mistake thinking I'd be taking classes while here but they were cancelled and no refund/ no way to use the credit for class before leaving)

I am a ballet dancer so places like millenium are scary for me, because other dance forms can just be scary. it's really hard for me when stuff is not in French and even counts of eight... But I had a good time! They were really nice to do me, despite my awkward attempts at hip hop and way too white girl hip thrusting.
so for ballet dancers out there who want to try something new, try out millennium. I still want to stick to my pliΓ©s, but it was fun giving Grunge and Luigi a try.

My friend and I took our very first dance class here (the Thursday beginner hip hop class) and it was definitely an awesome experience. Even though we were absolute rubbish, the teacher and even the classmates were very supportive. The choreography was simple enough where we could pick it up while simultaneously being open enough that the more experienced in the class could get their groove on and show off what the choreography could really look like if you didn't have two left feet.
We'll definitely be coming back here!

I was so nervous to go back to dance after 5 years. Millennium was amazing and so welcoming. I have already been to three classes in two days and the instructors were caring, challenging, and knowledgeable. Hip-hop and Contemporary were so great I will definitely be coming in for more classes. I suggest this location to anyone!

Very disappointed in this place. All the instructor wanted to do was show off his Michael Jackson moves rather than teach the class. I was very intimated to come here, but I was assured I would be fine. The front desk people were very nice, were misleading about the skill level required for the class.

The dance level is certainly high. But class times seem to be mere suggestions. I left today 15 minutes after my class was supposed to start, no sign of it starting. The last class I went to, the teacher walked in 5 to 10 minutes late and then announced she had to leave 5 minutes early. Twice have showed up for classes they then cancel because of too few attendees. I often find myself feeling annoyed when I go there. I don't think it's very professionally run at all. At least all the staff and teachers I've interacted with were incredibly nice. Would I recommend it? It really just depends on what you're looking for.

Tess, the reception attendant and tap teacher way beyond amazing. My friend and I were in from out of town and she went way above and beyond to accommodate us. She gave us recommendations for hotels, food, sights and was very thorough in explaining each class that we were interested in. Based off her service alone, I recommend this studio to EVERYONE.
We took Dancehall first, which was great but a little frustrating at how bad the teacher was with using counts or symmetry (when symmetry was intended)
We took Hip Hop with Diego which was just FABULOUS! He totally got me out of a funk with his upbeat personality and effective teaching!
I will make this a regular stop when I'm in SLC from now on!

Millennium is abso-freakin-lutley FAN-frickin-TASTIC! I've danced my whole life and this is my favorite dance studio BY FAR!
When I step in the doors, I feel like I'm in LA! All of the teachers are or have been professional dancers. It's a great place for people who have danced their whole life to get tuned up for an upcoming audition, or dance just for the sake of dance! Every teacher really emphasizes being YOU and your own artist.
I highly recommend this studio. Come dance with me!

Millennium Dance Complex in Salt Lake is one of the most welcoming and friendly studios I have ever been to. All the choreographers are engaged in their teaching and want everyone who participates in their classes to do well and enjoy the movement. I cannot even begin to explain my excitement when I found out Millennium was now in Salt Lake City!! I am in love with Millennium in LA and now I had a chance to get the same experience here in Utah! The faculty is absolutely incredible, EVERYONE has something so amazing to offer and they each teach me something new and different every single time I come and take class. If you're serious about dance, you better get yourself over to this studio and take classes!! :) everyone has such fun and loving personalities. You'll never want to leave once you come! This studio has incredible potential and I can't wait to see and be a part of the journey! :)

Terrible experience for my 11 year old daughter and her friend. I would not let children under the age of 21 take classes at this studio. I tried to talk with the Director of Operations about a situation that occured in one of the hip hop classes and she refused to hear my complaint. Moreover, she was unreasonable, she lied about issues and she refused to give me a refund on the prepaid classes I purchased for my daughter.
I am going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I would like to know if they have the appropriate business license in Utah and if the employees go thought background checks. Extremely poor management that should not be in business; I doubt they will be around very long.
