I love their trial offer, it’s such a great way to explore different classes here. The space itself is beautiful, calming, and really thoughtfully designed. I especially loved the sound bath and yoga options.

I did drop in for one yoga class where the instructor was extremely advanced and incorporated handstands every few poses. While impressive, it didn’t quite match the energy of the room. None of the students were at that level, and the teaching didn’t really adjust. With only a few people in the class, it also felt like the instructor’s attention was focused on just one or two students.

This isn’t a dealbreaker at all, just feedback, because a great teacher reads the room and pivots to meet students where they are. Overall though, the studio is gorgeous, relaxing.

I've been a loyal customer for almost 3 years and have loved coming here. The classes, teachers, and atmosphere are amazing!!

I lost my income and there was no flexibility offered to me in regards to the 30 day notice needed to cancel. So, I was charged anyway despite explaining my situation, that I did not have the ability to pay for the upcoming month and that I wanted to return as a customer when I had income again.

After they still charged me for the upcoming month that I didn't want, they offered me an additional month of yoga because it would "ground me during this stressful time."

I understand the need for consitancy in applying policy, but this company has made it clear they care more about fufilling contracts under any circumstances than caring about people 🤑. Not a super human-centered, zen attitude. 👎👎👎

Their $14 for 14 classes is such a steal! All of their instructors are phenomenal. This was first ever yoga studio that I went. It’s a great place for newbies and for well seasoned yogies. I liked that their hot yoga is challenging but doesn’t feel like you’re dying 🙂‍↕️

I seriously had the best experience here and I’m sad that I’m moving, otherwise I would come here for life!

It was such a fun and relaxing experience. I only ever did yoga at home with YouTube videos. No Dogs licking my face, kids using me as a jungle gym. I'm addicted now so my roommate and I will be making repeat visits. Jill was awesome. Nidra was so soothing.

my friend and I both attended this class for the first time and Jill was AMAZING!!! her voice is so soothing and we felt very relaxed and ready to chill for the night after our 1 hour yoga session with her! The stretches really helped relax our muscles and felt very at peace by the end of our class ❤️ you are awesome Jill!

I recently took part in MindPose Studio's Yoga Teacher Training, and it was a deeply disappointing experience, particularly regarding their accessibility and refund policies. If you have any disabilities or require accommodations, I strongly advise looking elsewhere.
My primary concern stems from their blatant disregard for accessibility. Throughout the training, I repeatedly requested reasonable accommodations for my diagnosed learning disability, providing documentation and specific needs. These requests were met with resistance, dismissiveness, and ultimately, outright refusal. The studio demonstrated a complete lack of understanding and willingness to adapt their teaching methods or materials to accommodate diverse learning styles. They seemed unwilling to deviate from their rigid, one-size-fits-all approach.
This lack of flexibility significantly hindered my ability to fully engage with and absorb the material. I felt consistently marginalized and unsupported, which created a stressful and unproductive learning environment.
Adding insult to injury, when I expressed my frustration and the impact this had on my ability to complete the training successfully, and requested a partial refund, they flatly refused. Their response was cold and impersonal, citing their strict "no refund" policy, without acknowledging their failure to provide adequate support.
This studio's complete disregard for accessibility and their inflexible, profit-driven refund policy demonstrates a profound lack of empathy and ethical consideration. They prioritize their bottom line over the well-being and success of their students. If you require any form of accommodation or value a supportive and inclusive learning environment, avoid MindPose Studio at all costs.

I was really excited to try this studio but was locked out after being only 3 minutes late to a 6am class. I understand that studios all have their own late policies and that’s respectable. It was unfortunate because I was really looking forward to this class, and their late policy was not disclosed on Class Pass where I booked through.

I can’t say enough great things about this studio. From the moment I walk in, I feel a sense of calm and positivity. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the design space immediately puts you at ease.

The instructors are knowledgeable, encouraging, and able to guide both beginners and those more experienced with ease. Their attention to detail and ability to create a flow that challenges you while still feeling accessible is both incredible and enjoyable.

I always feel a noticeable difference both mentally and physically. I leave refreshed and energized, and with a clear mind.

If you’re looking for a place to recharge, strengthen your body, and find balance, this is it. Highly recommend!

I have been a member for several years, Minpose, it's owners and staff have been nothing but welcoming and professional. The body of knowledge they possess and individual attention they provide proves they believe in their product and care about each and every one of their members. Nic and Jess are approachable and down to earth. I would not go to any other studio.

**Mindpose Yoga Certification Program Review: A Disheartening Experience**

I recently had the unfortunate experience of participating in the Yoga Certification Program at Mindpose Yoga, and I feel it's important to share my observations, particularly regarding their treatment of individuals with disabilities.

First and foremost, the environment at Mindpose Yoga is far from inclusive. Despite claiming to support diversity and accessibility, I found a blatant disregard for individuals with disabilities. The facilities are not adequately equipped with the necessary accommodations, making it incredibly challenging for those needing assistance. It’s disheartening to see an establishment that promotes wellness and mindfulness neglecting such a critical aspect of their community.

Furthermore, when I approached the staff to discuss potential accommodations for my specific needs, I was met with indifference and, at times, an unwelcoming attitude. The lack of consideration and effort to provide reasonable adjustments was not only disappointing but also felt discriminatory. It is alarming that a yoga institution, which teaches about compassion and understanding, fails to embody these principles in their own practices.

Adding to my dissatisfaction was the issue of refunds. After realizing that the program did not meet my expectations and considering the lack of support for my needs, I sought a refund. However, my request was not only ignored but met with a lack of communication and support from the administration. It has now been almost a month, and I am still waiting for a response regarding my refund. This level of customer service is unacceptable, and it reflects a deeper issue within the organization's values.

In summary, my experience with Mindpose Yoga’s Certification Program has been overwhelmingly negative. The blatant discrimination against individuals with disabilities, the failure to provide necessary accommodations, and the refusal to issue a refund are clear indicators of an organization that does not practice what it preaches. I would caution anyone, especially those with disabilities, to think twice before investing their time and money here.

I joined this yoga studio after trying a few around town and it's AMAZING. The Flow class is my favorite, I love how much I sweat. The instruction on how to position my body and how poses should feel during class is helpful to me as a beginner. Classes use instrumental music which is complimentary vs distracting. Earlier this week is was my first time trying hot yoga and I really liked it! It pushed me more than my other yoga classes while still allowing me to listen to my body.

Since I was new, I was hoping for a little more of a conversation about what to expect, how it works and stuff like that, but overall everyone was very kind and I plan to return and eventually sign up for a membership!

I appreciate the free classes to allow me to try different teachers and find time(s) that work with my schedule! Thank you Mindpose :)

I started attending classes here and have loved many of the teachers here. Unfortunately I wasn’t aware that the only classes offered here are heated, (this isn’t mentioned anywhere on the website)— I’ve ended up getting extremely sick during my pregnancy experiencing prolonged ibs symptoms. Thus heated classes have become dangerous for me and my baby, not to mention my husband and I are now incredibly tight facing a variety of medical bills. The studio managers have informed me that I am not able to cancel my membership without a cancellation fee and have been surprisingly & incredibly rude to me regarding this situation— going so far as to unnecessarily threaten collections. I wasn’t aware I signed up for a year contract as I never even signed anything— this makes me nervous of how the business is run here and how many others are locked into service unknowingly?

Overall, very disappointed with how unprofessional and insensitive I’ve been treated. Will not be returning once my health does.

The Mindpose Yoga Teacher Training was the absolute best thing I could have done for myself. Their program is layered so well to benefit those wanting to get the best teaching experience possible. A few short months after graduating from their program, I applied for a teaching positing at a studio in Arizona and within two weeks of teaching, I was advanced to the lead teacher position. Exact quote from my manager, “Aubrey, where did you receive your training? You teach like you have been teaching for years.”
I truly believe in the Mindpose theory and am so thankful for the way it has benefited my life!

The class was extremely overbooked, cramped to a point of discomfort. I don't know if you let too many walk-ins come to the class or if you just overbooked it. Either way it was very unpleasant. Everyone was bumping into eachother, far from a peaceful experience.

On a personal note I prefer a much hotter room. The whole "warm" yoga model is silly. Be hot or be regular yoga. I very much enjoy hot yoga. It aids in deep stretching. The warm is just slightly uncomfortable without being helpful in the way hot is.

This place used to be better . . . Unfortunately, their quality has gone down a bit. I have two reasons for writing this negative review, the first is because of the fact that they increased their prices. Which is fine, I get that all businesses do that, the reason it’s such a point of contention for me is because they did it during my year long contract with them. I emailed them to inquire as to why I was being charged more, and they let me know that they, “reserve the right to increase prices within our contract terms from the onset.” Granted, they also said that they don’t have any further plans to increase their prices, but I don’t think it’s fair for them to change the terms of a contract during said contract’s term, even if they did give notifications of the change prior to it, or put in the fine print of their contract’s that they’re allowed to do it from the onset. The second reason for my dissatisfaction with them is because of their new location. Their main location used to be in Saratoga Springs, and it was fantastic. They had great views of the mountains, a large lobby, a second floor studio that didn’t have too many sounds of traffic, a colored fireplace, chandeliers, etc . . . I absolutely loved that environment. Unfortunately, their new location in Lehi has none of those things, instead it’s right next to a busy road, and instead of having a good view of the mountains, it has partially opaque windows. . . it just feels like any other building. Let’s just say I’m very sad about the location change, and I’m sure most other members feel the same way. The reason I’m giving them two stars instead of one is because their instructors are all fantastic, I love the people here, it’s just the fact that they’ve gone down in quality location wise, and up in price that’s disappointing to me. Now, if you’re a brand new member and you can look past the fact that you’ll be paying the same price as a Costco membership, but monthly instead of annually, and you’re fine with the Lehi location, or you plan on going to the Lindon location, then great, I can wholeheartedly recommend Mindpose Yoga to you. I’ve certainly received numerous benefits from doing yoga here. But as a member that’s watched the value of their business go down, I do not currently have any plans of renewing my contract with these guys once it’s up.

I enjoyed the free class they offered for a while. One class they passed around wet aromatherapy towels for the face. After class, I told management that my towel smelled strongly of mildew (out of concern), and their response was "yeah, that happens." I asked if the towels were being laundered properly and they said "well sometimes as things get old, they just start to smell no matter what". Needless to say, things that are being stored & cleaned properly should NOT smell moldy. It was the dismissive attitude that bothered me the most. It made me worry about the overall attitude of the studio if they don't care that people are putting moldy towels on their face. I personally would have been apologetic and mortified to find out our towels for customers were moldy. They weren't.

Great experience all around. Nice environment, great view looking eastward at Mt. Time and the instructor (male...Adam?) was insightful and inspiring. I'm fairly new to yoga and he made it very enjoyable. I would go to his practice again.

The BEST yoga studio I have ever been to. The instructors walk you through your breath and focus on the mind-body connection the whole time. I love the heated room, the view and how respectful the teachers and students are. When you come here you'll get a very unique experience. TRUST me. You won't regret it.

I absolutely love this studio. It’s spacious and has a lovely view of the mountains. All the classes I have taken here have been wonderful. Nic and Jessica, the owners, are amazing humans and teachers. I just recently took Nic’s Flow class and a Root 2.0 class by Chelsie, and both were exactly what I was looking for. Smooth and seamless transitions, challenging and enjoyable, I came away floating. Plus they are super affordable and classes can be taken st both of their locations!!! I will definitely return to this studio next time I’m in town!

Tried hot yoga for the time last night and it was awesome! The Mat Yoga is the only place I've been to so far but my experience was great. It was a great relaxing environment. And a very capable instructor that helped each individual get the most out of their experience regardless of the individuals experience level. Would highly recommend to anyone looking getting into yoga.

I wish you guys had more classes on the weekends!
On a long Friday day, it would be nice to have a class to unwind before the weekend officially begins! I came to the studio at 4 pm yesterday to check out the place and the earliest class I saw offered was at 8pm! And more classes on Saturday afternoons also. I’d love to spend my weekend doing yoga and there aren’t any yoga places in the area that have weekend schedules :( I really want to try out your place, though!

I’m still pretty new to the Mat Yoga, and I LOVE IT SO MUCH! I’ve tried several other studios across the STATE and none I have tried so far compare to this studio! It truly is CLEAN, pleasant smelling, rejuvenating, RELAXING, peaceful, challenging (for all levels)...and the instructors are so wonderful! Jubilen and Tami are actually the best!! I had major hip pain in the beginning of summer. I don’t experience the same pain I had before I started The Mat Yoga and I truly believe it’s because I healed here!

This studio has changed my life. I have chronic migraines and PCOS. I started to come to yoga here and it set a series of positive life changes in motion. The process to healing is slow but this studio has provided peace and light. I love the heat; being able to look at the mountains; feeling strong and beautiful and appreciative of my body. I really appreciate the classes that have clear intentions and invite my human body to be more.

The MindPose Method Teacher Training at The Mat is absolutely what I recommend to EVERYONE. I started practicing here about 2 years ago, and fell in love so absolutely felt I needed to learn more.

I have attended teacher trainings with other studios, and never felt like I was quite getting what I was looking for; whether I knew what that was or not. Then I came here, and every part of my being was fed with knowledge, love, respect, and encouragement. I’m still processing my journey through this training, but I have nothing but high accolades and high praise. I personally don’t live close to the studio at all, but the trip was and is always well worth it. Anybody with questions, please feel free to contact me. But know that every single person involved with this training will help guide you with only integrity, kindness and love.

Going through this training helped me feel like I could be a better teacher, but more importantly, I learned how to be better to MYSELF. I’ve learned patience for myself, and really got to look internally on a much deeper level, in a supportive and safe environment.

I could go on and on - one of the best experiences !

I did not have a good experience at this studio. They were not upfront about their studio policies which put me and an instructor in a terrible situation. After emailing them with my complaint, they then proceeded to offer a refund only if I removed my review. After I pointed this out, they were gracious enough to offer an apology and refund regardless of my review. It takes integrity to admit your mistakes and I appreciate their willingness to engage in a conversation. Based off the entirety of my experience I can not recommend this studio unless they change their policies to include individuals that need to have their phone on them for the safety of others.

A cozy studio with a breathtaking view of the mountains, The Mat is a true refuge from the pressures of everyday life. The studio is heat and humidity controlled, which doesn't seem like a big deal- but it is immensely helpful in really finding the depth of your flexibility. With a fireplace, aromatherapy towels, and light and sound tailored to every class- you might think that this would be only for advanced yogis, but you'd be wrong. I am as entry level as it gets: I just had a baby and haven't worked out in a long time. My body is still healing from an emergency c-section, and from plenty of cartons of mint chocolate chip ice cream. I was very nervous to start taking classes here, but I shouldn't have been. All of the instructors have been so accommodating, and no one has ever made me feel uncomfortable. They are adamant about listening to your body, and always provide options for different levels. I have noticed that there are lots of different levels of students in each class, and people are friendly and worry more about their downward dog than what anyone else is doing. They have free classes (usually once a week), so that is a good way to see if you like it.

I've attended 3 classes here in 2 days, and all 3 were top notch. All 3 were different styles and teachers. The teachers were knowledgeable, kind, and motivating. The sequencing was fun, intelligent, and and challenging while being safe. Cues were spot on. Anyone can come in and have a great class and experience. The studio space is beautiful: the mountain view, the chandeliers, it's very light, open, and inviting. The students were friendly; they even introduced themselves to me as I was getting my mat out of my car, asking me if it was my first class there, raving about the teachers and classes. Once in the studio, they were kind enough to move their mats without being asked when they saw a couple walk in right before class so that they could practice by each other. I would highly recommend taking the time to take a class here and check it out. And the commute here isn't nearly as bad as you think it is, I promise (if you're coming off I-15, there's hardly any lights).

I began as a student, and loved it so much I became a teacher! :) The Mat Yoga's 200 hour teacher training was a wonderful investment! At first I was hesitant to commit, telling myself "I don't have time" and "I'm not experienced enough in yoga." I'm so glad I pushed past my false stories and excuses and simply took the leap!

The instructors were extremely knowledgeable and warm, always willing to help in any way I needed. While their expertise was inspiring, their unpretentious nature fostered a splendid learning environment. ... I didn't just learn about yoga. I learned how to TEACH yoga, and was given hours to practice teaching on the other students before having "real-world" experience, unlike many other 200 hour trainings.

The overall experience was informative, motivating and enlightening. In a society that honors chaos and exhaustion, it was a very welcomed change of pace and focus. In addition to gaining new insights and friendships, I gained skills that I now share with my family and friends, bringing greater peace and mindfulness to their lives. I highly recommend The Mat Yoga's 200 hour teacher training.

This was my first Yoga Studio experience! I was so blown away, and it completely exceeded all my expectations! I was a little nervous since it was my first time doing yoga in a class with an instructor, and I was worried I was going fall behind and just feel like an idiot, but Nick made it sooooo easy, and simple, and this was the first Yoga class I've tried that pushed me, but wasn't so ridiculously simple! I really liked that we ended the class with a more challenging pose to try, like the crane. And then he handed out cool wet towels that had some aromatherapy. Seriously the best first experience! %100 worth the money!

I absolutely love this place! From the moment you open the door you are kindly welcomed! I love walking in & smelling the aroma therapy scents. But most importantly are the amazing instructors that guide us thru our yoga practice. I love the variety of classes offered such as vinyasa, hot hatha, yin, power flow etc. Find your favorite! I came to the mat yoga as a newbie thinking I would try it out & I'm officially a yogi head going 5x a week for the last months now! I laugh at myself for being so nervous to try it out in the first place. I've gone to a few other classes outside of the studio & nothing compares to their climate controlled aroma therapy studio! Nicely decorated and very clean. Nic is my absolutely favorite instructor so watch for his hot hatha class. Beautiful place to practice on your mat. 🙏🏻

The Mat Yoga is my favorite yoga studio in Salt Lake and Utah Valley! Not only do they offer a large variety of yoga classes (hatha, vinyasa, power sculpt, etc.) they REALLY care about your experience. All the teachers i've taken from have a true passion for the practice, focus on breath and technique, and really inspire you to be the best yogi you can be!
