I signed my two year old up about months ago. With the hopes that it would improve his coordination and mobility. Not only has it excessed my expectations but it has only added so much more to his life! All of the social skills with the other kids, confidence, direction following and mostly just pure joy! Coach Michelle on Tuesday mornings is our FAV person. She is the most patient and understanding. She helps and asks them to try try try again but NEVER forces and is so flexible, she lets the kids be kids. I could not recommend them more!

My boys have participated in the Ninja program for the last year and a half and it has been amazing!! We have been endlessly impressed with the amazing young people who run this program! My boys LOVE ninja and count down the days for it every single week! They leave ninja sweaty, out of breath, and smiling. The coaches are excellent at motivating the kids and providing constructive criticism. We have loved all of our coaches, but one of our favorites is Coach Jake! He is AMAZING! He is high-energy, positive, hilarious, and goes out of his way to connect with each child in his class. My boys talk about him all week. When they mess up a trick in class he expertly helps them avoid embarrassment and see it as a learning opportunity instead of a humiliation. I love ninja because it has taught my kids to fail with grace in front of their peers—something we need more of in this world! I absolutely recommend this program! ❤️

We started taking my daughter here when she was about 18 months old. We have been impressed with the coaches, with the safety of the ramps, bars, etc, and with the general atmosphere. For young kids, Mountain West Gymnastics Academy has a great atmosphere and provides a great place for toddlers (and their parents) to get in some movement. We have already recommended it to other parents and will continue to do so.

My daughter is now 2.5 years old. If anything, we are more pleased with the establishment and coaches. We highly recommend Mountain West Gymnastics Academy for toddlers. (It also seems great for kids and adolescents; we just haven't had that personal experience, yet.

My daughter has attended Mountain West Gymnastics Academy for about a year so far. We chose this gym for its convenience and guiding theme to "face your fears". Under their care and training, my daughter has transformed from timid naivety to expressive experimenter in even that short a time. My only concerns are a high turnover rate for coaches (my daughter has had about 8 coaches in a year--that can get really confusing for kids to keep switching gears), limited space and equipment (my daughter gets shuffled around a lot because there are so many kids that need to use the available accessories), and the price-for- results is a bit higher than I'd call a "good deal". I would have marked the academy as a 3--meaning I'm looking for another school now--but the staff has really been supportive and accommodating, as well, so all in all, we've received 4-star service at Mountain West.

My daughter is in both the gymnastics program as well as the dance academy and they are fantastic! We haven't tried any other gymnastics programs, but we have tried other dance programs. At MWGA and MWDA, the instructors show so much interest in their success and are so encouraging. They really help build their self-esteem in order to bring out the best in their students. As a parent, I also love that for performances are broken up by groups so I don't have to sit through several hours of performances just to watch my daughter (who is in the younger age groups) do a 2 minute performance.

I have two daughters taking at MWGA currently. They’ve been there for one year now, and they couldn’t love it more. The coaches are fantastic with the kids, they’ve learned so much in just their first years of gymnastics. The staff is always nice to answer all of my questions or fix any issues that might arise (only one thus far). Scheduling has always been so great too, they work hard to find classes at the same time for my girls so I’m not driving there multiple times a week which makes a HUGE difference. I see us being with MWGA for many years to come.

Went there to see my kid there last week. I looked on the tv screen they had up top for parents to look at while they wait, and all that my daughter and a bunch of kids were doing for the majority of the time she was there, was just running around doing not much at all. They didn't even had an instructor helping them until the last 5 minutes of class when they rotated the kids from behind the wall/partition out into the open where the parents could see them. I did't pay for them to just be doing nothing. It also seems like the kids that are behind the wall are left to their own devices unsupervised. It's only when they are out in the open where instructors seem to be actually turning up to make it look like they were helped the whole time.

Not long ago, Mountain West advertised Open Gym, and they didn't state a cost making it sound like it was free to the public. A total waste of time for parents who ended up dragging all their kids there. Very unprofessional. The person at the office said that they were too busy to put a price on the advert. How convenient. "Too busy"? The advert was right in front of you before it got published. Seems like a creative way to bait people into dragging their kids there, and then making them pay because of all the hassle of getting there kids he first place.

I absolutely love Mountain West gymnastics in bountiful ! My kids took the toddler classes( ages 3+ 4 ) for a few months and the only reason we stopped going is because we are moving. 😃 The staff is super friendly and you can tell that their students grow every year with age in difficulty. My daughters have taken Gymnastics here collectively for 3+ years and we love it! Crystal is excellent. Down to earth, easy to talk to, but always professional. Our experience through COVID has been better than we expected. Re-opening the gym must’ve been a lot of work, but everything always feels clean and sanitized. The coaches are organized and consistent & fun. The area for where parents can watch isn’t as big as I wish it were, especially because of social distancing, but the security cameras rotate between the three rooms that are not visible within the rest of the big gym. I feel safe with my daughter here.

Do to this pandemic they have had to take extra precautions to keep the kids safe and one included limiting the number of people in the gym. I personally enjoy watching my kids and seeing how they have improved (because with mwg they have gotten much better) but due to this I couldn't go watch anymore. We Love Tumble Jungle Preschool at Mountain West Gymnastics Academy. Miss Shellie is an amazing teacher - very helpful and responsive in making sure each student's needs are met. There is a focus on hands-on learning and play- so much better than a bunch of worksheets! Mountain West Gymnastics is absolutely fantastic and AWESOME! After my friend's son had an awful first experience with gymnastics at another facility, they have worked with my friend to ensure his son's experience at the other facility would not leave a lasting impression. They have worked with my friend regarding his son's medical condition and even let my friend stay through lessons during the first Covid conditions. My friend's son recently had to undergo emergency surgery and they have been EXTREMELY helpful and understanding, being flexible with dates, and not charging during his son's recovery time. They are Mr. Miyagi to the other place's cobra kai!!

Our daughter Tehya has been attending at Mountain West Gymnastics Academy for almost 2 full years and we still love it!! She's almost 5 now and every time we drive by the facility Tehya yells "look, there's MY gymnastics"! It's been so great to see her get so excited about it and want to continue to go. We've loved the attention and care she gets each week from each coach she's been assigned, but she loves it so much she has even learned who a lot of the other coaches are too. Tehya loves it so much her brother Jaxon recently decided to join the Mountain West ninja in training crew. It works great for us since we save more money by having him enrolled too and the front desk staff were able to help us coordinate their schedules too.

I feel great about letting Jaxon and Tehya go to the gym even during the covid-19 pandemic since the owners have set an amazing and consistent cleaning schedule in place with there entire team as well as the protocol they have created in dropping off/picking up our kids. There is a staff member at all doors to take all the kids temperatures and ask about any possible covid symptoms once they do that they are all required to either wash hands or sanitize before they can meet with their coaches.

We love that the coaches are knowledgeable and patient with our kids. We also love the communication we receive from
MWGA via email/text with any updates that are applicable to us. We look forward to a long lasting relationship with MWGA and would highly recommend them to anyone considering enrolling their kids in either the ninja or gymnastics programs that are offered!!

Mountain West Gymnastics is a GREAT place for your kids to learn the basic fundamentals all the way to advanced fundamentals in gymnastics/tumbling. They have an incredible staff who will help your kids not only master the techniques but also to believe in themselves. We’ve enjoyed our time at MWGA! But I’ll say what I appreciate the most are the staff and teachers. My daughter is kinda hard to warm up and can be stubborn. And the teachers are SO patient- I really love that. She is learning the skills, although not as fast as I thought she would. But I think that’s on her, not them. I’ll send my son to the Ninja Class when he turns 4. Otherwise this has been a great fit for our daughter!

I've been meaning to give this review for awhile. My son attended preschool with Shellie for the 2019-2020 school year. It definitely didn't end how we all would have hoped, but that's alright. We have only been a few times, but so far it has been an awesome experience. My Kiddo loves going to class and counts down the days until the next one. The facility is clean and well taken care of. The staff is awesome, friendly and you can tell they take pride in what they do and where they work. They also do a great job working with the groups that consist of newbies and more experienced kids and making sure everyone gets the help they need.

Best birthday party! I booked a party for my 4 year old, and he and all his friends had a blast! Everyone I spoke with was friendly and professional. They had everything set up perfectly when we arrived (they even had candles and a lighter!) The coaches for the party were wonderful, engaging and sweet with the kids. It was a wonderful experience, and priced perfectly.

My daughter was stuck in the same level for "1yr" with the only thing holding her back was a back bend kick over ... but would they practice that particular thing holding her back from leveling up .. NOPE ! you guessed it we left ! only giving starts because at least it felt productive at first

I have a daughter who suffers from anxiety and is often scared to try new things. 2 months ago she started gymnastics at MWGA. She went in without a backward glance!! Her coaches are attentive and kind. They go at her pace but are still pushing her to do better. She looks forward every week to seeing her coaches and is begging to go more than once a week!

My son also attends one of the Ninja Zone classes and it burns off his energy so well that this momma wishes he was in it every day! He is learning great skills and how to be a great kid too!

Mountain west has been our best gym we've tried. Our other gyms have had no structure and were just a glorified day care. The other problem we've had is gyms not getting down the basics. That the the kids are constantly getting hurt because they are trying things they aren't ready for. But with Mountain West I know the kids are having well structured lessons. And are perfecting skills in a safe progression.

Such a fun way for young children to keep active in the winter, and improve their agility. Most the teachers are very positive and are excellent working with young kids. They change the class themes each week to keep it engaging. The only con is that teachers frequently change from week to week, and the inconsistency can be frustrating, especially when your child really likes their teacher, or when the substitute seems to lack experience.

We just joined here and my 3 year old daughter loves the class. They are very hands on helping the kids learn and have fun and they kept things moving really well with plenty of activities I was very impressed.

We LOVE Flips Gymnastics. Our daughter goes here and we couldn't be happier. We checked out seven different gyms before happily deciding to go with Flips. They are just amazing. I have never before seen such a positive atmosphere at a gym. It was very important to us that our daughter be taught correct technique and they do an incredible job of that here. Most importantly though, they are so encouraging and so positive. Our daughter comes out of class positively glowing and she loves gymnastics because they make it so much fun. I can't say enough good things about Flips. I would recommend them to anyone!
