I can’t say enough good things about Muv Better! I do both the circuit and Pilates classes here, and it’s been a game changer. I’ve had some ongoing knee issues, and the instructors are incredible about helping me modify when I need to — but even better, they focus on actually strengthening it so I can move with more confidence.
Even though the workouts are in a group setting, they feel super individualized. The trainers pay attention to what you need, whether that’s adjusting form, adding progressions, or helping you build strength safely. Every class leaves me feeling stronger, more capable, and genuinely cared for.
Highly recommend for anyone wanting smart, supportive training that really works.

I absolutely love going to the classes at Muv Better Pilates and Training. I have been going to Muv for a little over 2 months now and I have already seen progress and improvement in my strength and training. I have been attending Jess’s classes and she is just so incredible! The people and atmosphere are so welcoming and it truly is such an incredible experience each time. If you are looking into reaching your fitness goals and also just having a good time with it, then this is the place you need to go to!

MuvBetter is phenomenal! The classes are amazing, both fun, effective and work. The instructors are amazing-all of them. Camilo is playful, motivating, and 100% invested in your progress. Jess is fun, encouraging, positive and works really hard to help you improve! Michael’s Pilates classes are challenging and fun, and he finds new ways to challenge your body while making it a great experience. Haley teaches Pilates and is so sweet, knowledgeable, annd encouraging and finds ways to make every class a positive and a challenging one. Anna’s Pilates classes are wonderful too, she makes sure your form is good and you understand how each movement should feel to make a difference. There are a couple other instructors who I have experienced but I imagine they are wonderful too give the Camilo’s lead. The other participants and classes-I haven’t found one where I don’t feel so glad to be there, and everyone is so positive and happy to work and sweat along side you! I can’t say enough about this studio. They all meet you where you are in your journey and are in step with as you make little improvements along the way. Haven’t found one thing not to love !

AWSOME!! By the end of the session, I felt strong, accomplished, and energized. Jess, the instructor, was fun and full of energy! Her guidance was clear and encouraging. I walked away feeling challenged but also highly motivated to come back for more. Highly recommend this class to anyone looking to jump back into an effective and inspiring fitness routine.

I started working with Camilo to avoid shoulder surgery. I tore my labrum mountain biking and the surgeon advised trying physical therapy before surgery.
Initially, my shoulder joint was very unstable and somewhat weak. Camilo assessed the extent of what my shoulder could do to baseline me and then developed a customized therapy plan designed for me. Specific to my shoulder injury. And it worked!
Meeting about twice a week for five months has significantly improved both the stability and strength of the joint. My arm no longer feels like it is going to slip out of the shoulder. I can sleep again on that side of my body. Although there are some exercises I will probably never do again - like dips - I am back in the gym again and doing upper body weights.
I am thrilled with my progress and strongly recommend Camilo. Thanks to his knowledge and experience, I feel like I was able to ‘substitute’ exercises for surgery and a lengthy recovery. I mountain biked and was able to swim fairly soon after beginning with Camilo. I added weights back in after about three months. I am very grateful that I found Camilo and avoided (another) surgery.

I have been going to Muv Better Pilates about twice a week for probably about 6 months now. When I first signed up it was really on a whim, sort of knew I needed to do something to address being overweight, but wasn't sure what to do. Going to Muv has been fantastic. I could not recommend more. The facility is nice, clean, and welcoming. When I walked in the door I was about 25 lbs heavier, I had acute back pain at all times, and had never heard the word reformer.
The people I've worked with, Hailey, Michael, and Camillo, have all been very patient and knowledgeable and are also just fun to learn from. I would say I typically only make it a month or two when I've worked with other gyms/trainers, but I've really enjoyed Muv and have stuck it out, modified my lifestyle, and am thankful for it.

I came to Camilo for personal training to help me with my lower back issues. It’s been a lot of hard work but the pain in my back is almost completely gone. Camilo really tailors the training for my needs. Even when I have wanted to give up, he hasn’t given up on me. He keeps pushing me to push myself, and I really appreciate it! Plus now, I don’t think Pilates is as scary as I originally thought(everything can be adjusted for your strengths)!

I was a first timer at this studio. The staff did a great job with being super welcoming, and provided a great work out! I did their circuit class, which was fun and challenging. I'm so happy to be working with Camilo at Muv Better Studio! Camilo is the first trainer I've ever worked with that has the knowledge and experience to really assess my concerns (recurring back and knee pain) and formulate a plan to re-align and strengthen my posture and hips. After just a few weeks of private training sessions I had better muscle and form awareness than I've ever had. His circuit and pilates classes are fun and challenging and the small group size ensures personalized attention to form. And the studio is beautiful and always spotless!

I've been going to Muv Better for 4 months and have seen an improvement in my strength, posture, and back/shoulder pain. Camilo is an excellent instructor who gets to know you and what your body can handle. The small class size allows him to tailor the movements and difficulty to what you need. I love that explains not just how to move, but *why*. You come away from class with an understanding of how the different muscles in the body support each other.

Such a sneaky, good workout! Pilates focuses a lot on form in general, but Camilo's small class sizes allow him to really tune into the mechanics of your body and ensure you're doing the moves properly. Lots of seemingly small, precise movements, but such a good workout–I was definitely sweating by the end!
The studio itself is clean, new, and has ample parking. I would definitely recommend!

This is the place to be if you really do want to move better! I've been through 9 full courses of physical therapy over the course of 16 years after a car accident and Camilo was able to achieve more for my pain relief and stability in 90 days than all of that former physical therapy combined - all while making it truly fun and safe! The studio is beautiful and sparkling clean! I'll never go anywhere else!

Camilo from Move Better Pilates & Training and his method of restoring functional movement has greatly impacted my life. Everything has improved from how I now perceive my fitness goals with movement to learning about pain and how to work with it and not against it.
I have been to many physical trainers, body workers, physical therapist, chiropractors, energy workers, kinesiologist, etc and for the first time I have found a person that truly practices and embodies his philosophy of movement.
Camilo, treats me as an individual and tailors the movement session to asses, build, strengthen and test my abilities. He is a compassionate and patient technician, proficient in functional anatomy, exercise physiology, and knows how to adjust the movement from its simplest form, building on each repetition and each movement session, there is so much depth to his knowledge.
I have been a massage therapist for 12 years, the common denominator of pain in my clients comes from either over use or under use of the body, movement is life, if we loose it our quality of life changes, but we are never too late to start moving.
I am now sending clients to explore movement with Camilo and they are all seeing magnificent results. If you are in search to move better, to lessen pain, inflammation and discomfort Move Better Pilates & Training is the perfect place to start, it will change your life and connect your body to movement.

I'll be honest, I've never written a review before.. but I feel so strongly about my experiences with Move Better Pilates and Training. I have found a class and teacher that have changed my relationship with my body and my movement. Good bye back pain and hello so many other things that have brought added value to my life and physical practices. Camilo es excelente! He really is great. He is knowledgeable and experienced. He pays very close attention and works with you to correct imbalances and to strengthen weak / underused muscles. He has been very helpful with a recent knee injury and is working with me to correct the systemic problems that led to the knee injury. And his pilates studio is new and beautiful. Camilo's studio is also private which is good for those of us who don't look great while exercising.

On the first day of training with Camilo, I realized how well he understands the body, how it moves and how to correct imbalances. Through movement work, weight training, Pilates and some boxing my body has morphed tremendously over the last 2 yrs. I'm stronger, ache less and physically able to manage long work days that are physically gruelling. Camilo takes time to adjust training strategies to correct and progress physical weaknesses. He has a true skill and provides it in a safe and caring space while making it fun. I would recommend and have recommended him to friends and colleagues. He also works with myself and surgeons in training to help correct body alignment issues, a hazard of our work.
