I’d look into other places before signing up here. My friend and I looked into other programs for our young kids and decided on this one because it seemed to be the most affordable, I was wrong. There are extra fees for testing every couple of months because “teachers need to be paid for their time”, which would definitely make sense if they had regular classes AND testing that same week but they cancel classes in order to do the testing. I have two kids in class so those extra fees would add up aside from my monthly payment.

Also, from what I saw, they don’t do anything different to challenge the kids that tested and got a new colored belt from those that opt out.
With testing and spring break, my kids only ended up having about 3 classes one month and still had to pay the full tuition.
I’ve also noticed they have been ending class 5 mins early which usually isn’t a big deal but these are only 30 minute classes that already sometimes start late.

Lastly, as other reviews have stated, you need to give them a 60 day written notice to cancel. I knew this when I signed up but despite giving the 60 day notice, my friend and I still got charged for the entire month beyond the notice with no option of a refund. Why not just state you need to give a 90 day notice to cancel?

I usually don’t leave reviews but I thought it might be helpful to point out some things that didn’t sit well with me. Bottom line, if you need to cancel, be prepared to pay for 3 more months after putting your request in!

All good until you cancel. They lure you in with a trial, then claim it’s a subscription that must be canceled two months in advance. Nothing is clearly stated. Very deceiving.

Our family couldn’t be happier with Ning Tae Kwon Do! Our 5-year-old son has been attending for some time now, and the growth we’ve seen in him has been incredible. The instructors are absolutely top-notch – they are attentive, supportive, and know just how to challenge him to keep him engaged and excited to learn.

**Disheartening Update**
After expressing the need to take a few months off during the holidays and into the new year due to scheduling conflicts, we observed a noticeable decline in communication and attentiveness from administration. While we had planned to complete our 60-day notice, repeated issues with ensuring our son was placed in the correct class created significant stress on not only us as parents but having my five year old told he’s in the wrong class every time is overwhelming.
Despite our multiple efforts to contact the administration and address the situation, we ultimately felt it was in our family’s best interest to discontinue the notice period. Regrettably, what was intended to be a temporary break has now become a decision not to return.

This studio is absolutely fantastic for children! My 2 sons have are enrolled in Ning tkd. My 10 year old who is a black belt has been with Ning since he was 3 years old. Master Ning leads with the perfect mix of truth and grace and love. I both am a family member of two students here, and a student as well. Master Ning has been such a great role model and Taekwondo Master for my son. I am incredibly impressed with Ning Tae kwon do school! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. The instructors are not only highly skilled in Taekwondo but also amazing with students of all ages. Ashley Ningcharoen, also known as Master Ashley Ning, is the head instructor at Ning Tae Kwon Do School in Eagle Mountain. She holds a 4th Dan Black Belt and has been teaching since 2003. She trained under Grandmaster Yong Shin in California. She’s amazing.

My 3 yo has shown tremendous improvement in both physical abilities and self-confidence since joining. The classes are well-structured, and the instructors take the time to ensure everyone understands the techniques while promoting a positive and supportive atmosphere. They also learn through fun games and they create friendships so they are excited to go back. It’s one of the rare place that takes 3 yo kids.
This might not be the activity for all your kids though. My 5 yo tried but it’s not his thing. So i recommend trying the free class and at least committing for the first full program (3-4 months). Sometimes it takes time to adjust and enjoy.
My husband started after my youngest. They offer teenager/adults classes too and he loves it. It’s really empowering!

I highly recommend Ning school to anyone looking for a top-quality martial arts experience! This is more than just a school—it’s a community. There’s often events, raffles and meetups so it’s a great place to socialize too.

This school has been life-changing for my children! Master Ning is so kind, patient, and nurturing, while also holding the students to a high standard of behavior and modeling that high standard herself.
