About the Club

Ninja Warehouse is a ninja obstacle gym inspired by the hit TV show American Ninja Warrior and designed by 5-time American Ninja Warrior National Finalist - Karson Voiles. He has dedicated years to training and wants to share his passion and knowledge for this new sport with both kids & adults.

At Ninja Warehouse, we offer classes, summer camps, birthday parties, corporate events, private coaching and open gym! Our classes are for ages 5 years old and up and Open Gym is for ages 12 years old and up. We provide a safe and fun environment to learn new skills and grow confidence.

Ninja Warehouse is amazing! My son has been going since 2018 and still loves it! From the fun of the Minis classes to the summer camps to the challenging Teens classes, he has always loved it. But what makes Ninja Warehouse special are the coaches and the community. It is like family to my son and we will forever be grateful to Coach John, Coach Rex, Coach Paxton and Coach Carson. These humans make my son feel joy while being pushed to his max.

We attended Ninja for three years and my kids loved every minute of it. We're so sad to have to take a break due to scheduling. The coaches are amazing and the staff is so great to work with. My kids learned so much and made a community out of their classmates.

I strongly advise against bringing young children to this Ninja Warrior gym, especially after our experience. My child was enrolled in the "minis" class, and within just five minutes, they broke their arm (both the radius and ulna). The adults in charge were on the opposite side of the gym and didn't notice until the injury occurred.

After 45 x-rays and a lot of bone manipulation, the children's hospital managed to get my child's arm mostly aligned. The doctors mentioned that they frequently see kids from Ninja Warehouse with similar injuries, which raises serious concerns about the gym’s safety protocols.

What troubled me most, however, was the management's response. They showed no concern for their staff's neglect of our child's safety. To make matters worse, they have you sign a waiver that seems questionable in its legality, absolving them of any responsibilityβ€”even in cases of gross negligence.

Please, think twice before enrolling your child here.

What a fantastic place for zero pressure fun for kiddos. The instructors here are so caring and certainly capableβ€”both of teaching your kids and making them stronger but also of ensuring your family will enjoy their time. And the valueβ€”unsurpassed. This is the activity you won’t have to convince your kids to get in the car for!

Best birthday party spot! John was amazing, made the birthday boy feel super special and was such a fun host. I can't say enough positive things about this place - definitely recommend for birthday parties of any age. Ninja Warehouse hosts the BEST birthday parties! How often do you get to hang with a TV celebrity athlete for 1.5 hours? The ninja courses are so much fun and John is an amazing coach. As a parent, I found the facilities were clean and it was such a pleasure to have the whole facility for our own party. We can't wait to host a party again next year!

This place is pretty cool for kids however, it is a 50 minute class and they spend at least 15 of those minutes playing hide and seek and starting late. So if you can get a groupon to try it, I would recommend that. Otherwise you have to pay a registration fee and the first full month. That's what we did and I don't think we'll continue with the second month due to the lack of time actually on obstacles. Kids can play hide and seek for free.

Update
After taking one grandkid here and signing up another one I want to update my review. I reviewed this after the first class but after 4 months of classes, the kids love going, the coaches and all the staff are really great, so even if they play hide and seek, they are playing! And the obstacles wear them out. This place is great and we will be going here for a long long time.

What a top notch Ninja Training facility. I travel a lot for work and have visited Ninja gyms around the country and it is so nice that one of the best gyms is 10 minutes away from my home in Ogden. The Salt Lake location is great as well and has a variety of different obstacles for even more complete training. Karson is one of the top Ninjas and is a blast to train with. Awesome place for people to come try their luck at some of these obstacles. It would be a great place for professionals to train and for beginners to give it a shot. It's like a big jungle gym! Smaller kids would have fun too, but it's not very toddler oriented.

My 12 year old son took the Jr. Parkour class at the SLC location for a month. It was not at all what we expected... I thought he might learn Parkour.

Pros:
Facility - We were really excited at first because the facility is great. They have quite a lot of obstacles/equipment to climb, swing or flip from with plenty of soft landing area.

The Office staff is great to work with. The were friendly and helpful and made quitting the class quite easy.

Cons:
The coaches! The coaches were horrible! First of all, they stretched for 20 MINS of the 55 minute class. That is over 1/3rd of the time! I understand how important warm-ups are - I am a dancer - but that is a little ridiculous. Then they ran drills and would show the kids what to do in a 20 second DEMONSTRATION - (not instruction), and then said "Now you do it, go!" Wait-What!?! How is my son supposed to do a front flip if you don't tell him HOW to do a front flip? Or a back flip, or a side flip, or a back-handspring, or numerous other moves that have fancy names that I watched but couldn't remember. My son came away from one class with a black eye because he kneed himself in the eye trying a back-handspring without instruction.
The "coaches" would also occasionally jump in to the drill rotation as kids would take their turns just to show off what they could do. There was even a part of one class where the coach was challenging the kids to do things that he, himself couldn't do, and bartering their free time based on how many of them could accomplish this near-impossible task (which was none of them). These guys - the coaches - don't know how to teach or control a class full of 10 boys. Even though they pretended to run drills there was chaos the whole time. Half of the class would wander around the gym playing on whatever equipment was nearby.
Lastly, there seemed to be no plan for what would be done each class. They seemed to make up things on the spot, which didn't always work and they spent way too much time setting up their obstacles. If they had planned beforehand, much of the standing around could have been avoided (which is partly why the boys were so comfortable playing around when they should have been following "instructions" )

I could only stand to watch 4 classes. We ended up buying some gym mats to use at home and it turns out YouTube has quite a lot of instructional videos.

So we did my son’s 6th birthday at the Ninja Warehouse in Salt Lake. He loves American ninja warrior.
Let me start with the positives: the gym is nice on the inside (the outside is rundown and sketchy looking) and the guy who helped us was nice. That is about it for the positives.

The negative list is much longer: You get 1.5 hours total in the building and for 10 kids and it is $300. I was okay with paying that initially.

We were told to arrive 15 minutes early which we did but the gym was closed and so all of my guests start showing up and it is still closed and we are waiting outside. Finally the trainer pulls in about 15 minutes before it starts. It is chaos getting everyone signed in.

When I asked where I can set up our party stuff he drags a folding table out into the entryway/sitting area. We pull chair over ourselves from the sitting area and make do. Strangely there is a giant empty room by the bathrooms that would make a great party room.

The kids had fun on the course and the guy led them through a few drills but I for some reason assumed it would be much more orchestrated and maybe they would do a timed run at the end.

The most dissapointing piece of all though was when a few of the dads went out on the course and touched a bar or lifted a ring and they added them to the bill. I watched all the people on the floor and one dad did run up the wall so I get that they added that but I didn’t see anyone else do anything that deserved a 15.95$ charge.

All in all I wouldn’t recommend this place. My total (with the fun added charges they tacked on) was $350. Although this was unique and a change from the fun center or Airborne, they were unprepared and at least at Airborne they are waiting for you and you don’t have guests outside in the cold and then your guest help you set up the table and chairs.

Not worth the money. You really do get so much more other places.
