I’ve known Kim and Dave for years and they’ve always been good with my kids and treated them like family. I believe they truly want to see the children develop into the best version of themselves. I’m grateful for what my kids learn from them here.

Can't say enough about this gym. Great coaches and owners. They push our little gymnast to try her best, and celebrate her wins. We've seen so much growth from her into a strong young woman.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This gym is absolutely fantastic! The coaches are professional, welcoming, and truly invested in the kids’ progress—but one of the standout features has to be the parent viewing area. It’s clean, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out so you can comfortably watch your child practice without feeling crowded or in the way. The view of the gym floor is excellent, and it makes staying to observe a genuinely enjoyable experience.

Between the friendly staff, high-quality training, and the top-notch viewing space for families, this gym earns every one of its five stars!

North Davis Gymnastics is a great gym with all skill levels. Their teams always do amazing at competitions. My kids arent on a team they are in beginning recreation. My oldest with autism has a hard time and they let him take his time and within a few months he is doing level 1 routines on rings and parallel bars and he loves learning the skills. My youngest is motivated to push himself and show them just how strong he is. The owners take great care in the kids, their safety and allowing them to explore their capabilities. This isn't a place where you come to be rigid and expect perfection every time all the time. They encourage and celebrate your achievements. Just the other day there was a ton of screaming and cheering as a whole group embraced a young girl who accomplished a new skill. A wholesome environment.

As a former Program Director, as well as coach of 20+ years teaching both recreational and competitive gymnastics, I would highly recommend North Davis Gymnastics to anyone who wants their child to be in a well rounded program. This is a top notch gym that has a great family atmosphere. The owners and staff go above and beyond caring for not only the physical element in gymnastics, but also the emotional well- being of each child. I would say you get beyond what you pay for. Thank you North Davis Gymnastics for all that you do for the community!

Like the gym, my 4 year old daughter has fun here and looks forward to it every week. There is No A/C though so it’s absolutely miserable for parents and students. If you are thinking of enrolling, I’d probably go somewhere else. We are debating switching as well because it’s unbearable.

If you want to pay a monthly mortgage payment and have your child be on the competition team, this place seems to be a good option.... If you want your child to learn, or you don't want to pay to be on the comp team, then you can pay $150/ month for babysitting. There is little to no actual coaching to progress your child. Some of the coaches make your child do 25 burpees if they can't do something while the other kids get to go do something fun. Literally, the coaches in this level walk around and just tell your kids, do this, do that. No real spotting, no real teaching, no productivity. We decided to try our girl out in the lower class, even though she was encouraged to go on the comp team because she is decent, to try the gym out. Not impressed.

If your child is in a league or qualifies for advanced classes to compete, this is the place for you. As far as learning beginnings, I would pass. But, they have great girls to shwo for the efforts they put in. Like I said, if you are advanced, this place is for you. It is fairly pricey for what you get otherwise.

We have been coming for over a year. Last summer they had no ac and this summer they don't have ac. It is generally 82°-89° inside. They have large box fans on the floor that blow around the hot air in the building. When asked about the ac situation the office staff said it's not that hot and they have fans. When coach Victoria passed out due to the heat, they did nothing to address this issue. If adults are passing out in class due to the heat. Imagine what your children are going through. They can't thermoregulate like adults can. For how expensive this program is, they should provide some type of air conditioning. It is not safe and it is not ok that the staff is very dismissive. Don't come here.

Back When my oldest was 6 she wanted to be in gymnastics and this was the closest gym to our house in Kaysville. We had the same experience other previous reviewers did with the 30 day withdrawal form requisites when I decided to leave . I felt the place was disorganized in the sense of reliability and professionalism.
I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my daughter there alone with them so I waited for her most of the time, unfortunately they don’t have enough seating space for parents.
When I needed to make a call to ask them to check out my daughter early for whatever reason while I was on my way, they rarely picked up the phone.
Her coach was a teenage girl in middle school and I was fine with that, she was kind, the problem I had was the way they used their time and maybe this is normal, but the hour my daughter was there was mostly waiting for the large group of girls in her team to practice their skills as many times as they wanted, especially those who were favored by the coach. Instead of being more structured with their schedule. The receptionists weren’t polite and professional, they just treat you like you’re an idiot when I asked questions about my bill and they always seemed frustrated or irritated. Another thing, when they had the recitals they were held in their gym and it was hot. I hope they’ve invested in a good AC system at this point. Sad to say we won’t be coming back here but I really hope they take all the constructive feedback and apply some of it if possible for the success of their business .

A few things to know before you register your child… they charge a fee for your portal once you register your child in a class. The fee is almost the same price as the tuition itself! They don’t disclose this before you register and it can’t be found on the site. All they show is the monthly tuition fee.
The facility is hot and the A/C blows hot air.
They’re very strict about their 30 day unenrolllment form. If you plan to try it out for only 30 days and you don’t fill it out they’ll charge you for the next month whether you attend or not.
Makeup classes have to be done before your child is unenrolled. They won’t tell you that and won’t work with you if you didn’t know. You basically forfeit the class.
The front desk people aren’t very friendly and speak to you as if you’re an annoyance. It’s surprising that a facility that works with kids of all ages and their parents have such rude staff working there. Not very professional in my opinion.

Not impressed with this place, it’s gotta be atleast 85 degrees in the building, no air conditioning just fans everywhere? Seriously a sweat shop. OSHA should check this place out to make sure it’s even passing all safety regulations. Waste of time.

We love this place and my two complaints would be not enough seating, and #1 No air conditioning. The temperature in here is extremely awful. And they have fans blowing all the hot air around. But they need to put in AC. Someone is going to get sick and or get heat stroke.

They called. I told them we were done coming. They said okay. I even tried to login to the account and it was treating me like a new client so I figured we were good. They took my money anyway and now are refusing to give it back unless a form is completed. So basically they stole my money. I told you to cancel, why a form unless your trying to sneak some extra cash. Absolutely wrong. No other dance or gymnastics place has ever made me do that so why them? Went there for a year 5 year old still can't do a cartwheel.

North Davis Gymnastics is where my daughter trained for the last 3 years. The owners, the Daniels are caring, compassionate and amazing individuals who want their students to succeed in all areas of life. The trainers have taken care of my daughter and enhanced her skills in the time she has been there and her passion to pursue gymnastics at a higher level has become a goal. I am so thankful for what they have done for my daughter and I. If I didn’t move, my daughter would finish training with this gym. Thank you guys. We will miss you.
NGD peace out!

OHHHHH KRAP DO NOT GO TO THIS GYM, between the billing issues, the complete disrespect from the office manager and the owner (who didn't know I was still on the line and left me on hold for over 5 min) and the random coach's (3 inside of 4 months) it is my recommendation that you don't spend any money at this gym.

The teaches in the younger class are lazy and sit around a talk, in the three months we have been coming here we have watched our daughter get ignored by the teacher (who is wearing jeans teaching gymnastics) there is no order in the younger classes. The older classes are structured and have a point to the class, But if you are looking for your child to learn skills here you will be wasting your time.

We are new to North Davis, but my daughter has been in gymnastics for 5 years and we have come to know some great coaches. Several of those coaches are now at NDG and the new owners are truly amazing. They care about their athletes, they think about and worry about how best to help them succeed. They have grand plans to improve the gym and you can see progress every week. But the quality of the coaching quickly makes you forget anything lacking in the gym. Our promising athlete has blossomed and progressed so much in a short time. We are so grateful for NDG, its owners, and its coaches.

My child attends Ballet West Academy in Salt Lake City, Utah. There is ZERO seating for parents, in fact we are not allowed to watch our children at practice except for 1 day a month on Parent watch day. I appreciate the fact that North Davis Gymnastics has offered some seating for parents because I enjoy watching my child in her gymnastics class. I can not say enough good things about the changes I have noticed happening at North Davis Gymnastics. The new owners have brought in new coaches to improve the elements taught. The new owners have replaced some equipment and they have a plan to replace something each month. They have brought in a new program to allow all girls to compete. They have brought in a new ninja program for boys and we received an e-mail that it is starting tonight. I would rather have to stand and watch my child and have more room for all the kids and programs.

My experience started well, but quickly went from ok to a terrible nightmare. My daughter went here for a few months and we went in knowing about the 30 days to cancel policy. When it came time to cancel because of unexpected medical bills, I told them about it, but I expected to still pay for the remaining month, which I did. The part that irritated me is that instead of showing any sort of sympathy, they still tried to keep me from cancelling. It was similar to trying to cancel with Comcast or some other company that is notorious for bad service.

We also had already paid $250 for warm-ups and a leotard that was non-refundable and we could expect to pick them up a month later. Fast forward a month and I called ahead to check to see if they had arrived yet. They informed me that they had been sold to another gymnast and the money from the sale would be put towards the competition fees for a future competition a few months away. At this point I was absolutely livid. I asked for a copy of the contract or where I had agreed to pay for the competition especially since we had canceled more than 45 days previous, before any competition fees were due.

I went down there personally after that and asked to speak with the owner. I must have been visibly agitated because the receptionist recognized me and told me that they would issue a check to me for the $250 the following week.

I was able to pick up the check later, thankfully. I was even considering not even writing a review because I was able to resolve the money situation between them. However, their complete lack of sympathy and any sort of apology makes it impossible. Even when I went to pick up the check, they threw it on the counter instead of handing it to me. Any normal establishment would greet you with a smile and apologetic tone when you might have a disagreement. The service I received at North Davis Gymnastics was reprehensible and inhuman.

tl;dr Avoid this place at all costs.

Our experience with NDG began well, but got worse as time went on and ended on a very sour note. North Davis Gymnastics is not for everyone AND BE AWARE THAT THEIR CONTRACT REQUIRES 30 DAYS NOTICE TO QUIT. We had to pay for a month that our daughter wouldn't be taught because she was to the point that she hated going and we had finally had enough.

In hind-site, it felt like they were more concerned with passing off a set list of check points to move the student to the next (and more expensive) level then teaching them gymnastics basics. It's like trying to teach students how to take the standardized test without teaching any subject material.

Our daughter was advanced to the Divo class because she could do a pull over one week and yet later we realized that she could not even do a cart wheel. The next week she struggled to do a pull over (which is why she supposedly advanced) and yet even on discussing our worries, they were not sympathetic with our concerns and we had to present possible solutions to help our daughter.

Another reviewer commented that "the staff can be a tiny cranky". For us, the more that our daughter attended, the more cranky her instructors appeared. Eventually we cut it back from two days weekly to one day a week. It finally got to the point that our daughter hated going as she was no longer having fun and after watching her the last couple weeks classes, I could see why. She seemed to always be the last in her group to practice the given exercise and was not given even equal instruction time when compared to the class members that have been there longer. The helpful instructors from her first class were a distant memory and were replaced with staff that looked like they wanted to be elsewhere.

Before we started gymnastics and through the first class, our daughter was excited and really enjoyed it. After being advanced to the next level and not getting adequate instruction, her excitement for the sport was replaced with fear and frustration which ultimately caused her to not want to return. We cannot even bring up gymnastics without her struggling to hold back her tears. I really wonder if NDG has gotten too big for their capabilities and the only ones that seem to suffer are the new students get moved too quickly in order to make more money.
