We started here before the transition to PAK Gymnastics. I’ve been genuinely impressed with how that transition has been handled. I can see PAK’s incredible vision coming to life and can’t wait to see what’s ahead!

In just a short time, my daughter has gained more confidence, strength, and a deeper love for the sport! There’s a noticeable increase in structure, organization, and attention to detail at both the team and recreational levels. With the launch of the DP program, it’s clear PAK is committed to building a truly competitive, high-level program. With this, I’ve also seen PAK staff strive to protect the mental and physical wellbeing of the athletes, which is so important in any competitive sport. That standard is carried throughout all programs in the gym, while keeping it safe, fun, and engaging.

It’s also clear that PAK values building a strong gym family, not just a program! This really stands out to us. My daughter is always excited to go to gymnastics and see her coaches and teammates! My son loves going to Ninja!

The atmosphere in the gym feels positive, the coaches and staff are friendly and attentive, and classes run smoothly. I believe it’s only going to continue to improve as PAK develops!
We are so grateful to be part of this journey and excited to see where it leads. I truly believe this gym is on its way to becoming something extraordinary!

My son has been going here for a few weeks now and is really enjoying it. The teachers seem nice and the place seems clean. It has a place where you can watch your children practice as well as water fountains and bathrooms. It's been a very good experience.

I stopped by for an open house, and it was very fun! 4 years of calisthenics training was super applicable and the instructors I talked to were very helpful. Looked like a great place for kids to learn. Not much men's equipment, but it's hard to find any in utah so I was happy.

We have LOVED doing classes with Gymcats. Our daughter has attended gymnastics there for the past four years, since she was 3, and learned a lot. Her favorite is bar and vault. Gymcats was fantastic at making sure she was working on the correct level. The skills she learned in gymnastics helped her in sports, dance, and aerial silks. All of her Aerial coaches are always SO IMPRESSED with her, and I think that gymcats deserves all the credit for helping her develop strength and flexibility. She's only 7 and she is in aerial classes with all teenagers. We are actually leaving gymcats to focus more on Aerial Arts, and I am super grateful to gymcats for helping my daughter build a great athletic foundation.

My son has been going to Gymcats for almost a year. He just turned 4 and has been in Coach Kate's class for almost his whole time there. He started in her Super Cubs class and just moved to his Cubs class. Kate is a preschool teacher and is absolutely the BEST with the little ones. She keeps them focused, but in a kind, gentle, and supportive way. She teaches them skills while making sure they have fun and building their confidence. It's also just so clear that she enjoys her time with them, which is so nice to see as a parent. Teaching the littles definitely requires a specific skillset - I can't really speak to any other classes or instructors, but if you have a little one, and have the chance to get them in with Kate, I wouldn't pass it up!

I signed up sight unseen and regret it a little so far =( I do wish we had just done some drop ins or a trial and I wouldn’t see us signing up for a membership. We’ve only been in 2 times and the front desk people don’t really greet or acknowledge you or help you understand where to go or how things work. You almost feel like a burden coming here or that you should already know all the things without being told… My 4 year old daughter seems to like it so far so we’ll see, and I’ll update my review at a later date.

This is a really good place for gymnastics! My daugher goes here, and I can tell she's learning a lot, and she's so excited every time! Most, if not all of the instructors have been kind to her, and she is making friends along the way!

I’m sad to say that we had to withdraw my four year old from her gymnastics class at gymcats today. Her teacher has made a few comments to me after classes which haven’t made me feel the greatest, but my daughter was enjoying the class and learning so I brushed them off. Today that teacher, (miss Laurel) crossed the line and really hurt my feelings and broke my mama heart.
After class, in front of all the other parents and my four year old herself, she asked me if she was my oldest and I responded yes, and she proceeded to tell me “that she won’t always be this difficult” which was shocking to me since my child is amazing (and I’ve never had a teacher complain about her). I was like oh, I mean she’s actually pretty great for me! And then she told me that MY child has adhd, and lots of energy (made that seem like a bad thing) hmmm that’s funny because her pediatrician has always told me she is brilliant and I would have to agree (she can sit down for hours and practice reading). Oh and SORRY my four year old has energy, she is FOUR and in a gymnastics class to USE that energy. Then if that wasn’t enough, and as I was holding back from crying she told me again (still in front of my child) that she is “the most difficult child she’s ever coached” and that “she’s been doing this for over 20 years”. I left in tears. My husband called and canceled right after, and of course voiced his complaints. Laurel did call back and apologize, which I appreciate, but the damage was done and we will not be going back. I want my child to have a coach who thinks highly of them, someone who coaches them up, and helps them gain confidence. Not someone who talks down on them in front of their face to their parent. She might be good at teaching your child gymnastics skills, BUT she will not teach them their worth.

My niece attends this camp, and I'll never recommend anyone go there ever again. I highly suggest finding a different place to send your kids. My niece is 4 and the certified "gymnastics" coach Laurel has the audacity to try and tell me that my niece has ADHD and is the worst performer and student she's had in 20 years. She is FOUR years old. And she did this in front of my niece and in front of 8 other parents. Incredibly unprofessional and I can't think of a more absurd thing for a gymnastics teacher to try and give medical advice and tell me how much my niece sucks compared to the other kids. Run the other way.

Our kid is in a tricking class, and some activities are good and they learn some tricks, but it is mostly kid-coaches and messing around. Not as focused as it should be for the money.

I’m really disappointed in this place. We’ve been going here for 2.5 years and my son had a great experience but not my daughter. My daughter is 3 and was in Ms. Laurel’s class. It started out great but then one day they were doing the bars and Ms. Laurel flipped my daughter over the bar and it scared her and she started crying. I came downstairs from the upstairs area and went out onto the floor and my daughter ran to me crying. I was giving my daughter a hug when Ms. Laurel walked past us with the other girls and said, “(my daughter’s name) you need to wait outside so the other girls don’t see you and think they get their mom whenever they cry.” So first thing, I understand that she wanted us to wait outside the doors because parents aren’t supposed to be on the floor. But here’s my issue. She directed her comment at my 3 year old daughter and she said it in such a cruel way. Ms. Laurel has yelled at the girls in that class multiple times when they’re not doing what they’re told. Most of the time it looks like the girls are confused about what to do and Ms. Laurel just gets impatient. But come on, they’re 3! I talked with other moms that also had daughters in that class and they said they had all noticed how impatient and strict Ms. Laurel was as well. My daughter recently aged out of her class and I was excited for her to have a new teacher and move on from Ms. Laurel. My daughter was placed in Carmen’s class. She’s only been once to Carmen’s class and I’m just pulling her out of Gymcats for good. All Carmen did with the girls was point, yell, and she didn’t smile once during the whole hour. Because it was my daughter’s first time in the class she was confused what she was supposed to do. Instead of showing my daughter what she was supposed to do she just yelled and pointed. My daughter came out of that class nearly in tears and told me Carmen had said that if she didn’t listen she would go get her mom and tell her she wasn’t listening. I’m done with this place. I wish we could stay after being loyal for 2.5 years but it’s not worth sacrificing my daughter’s self esteem and confidence. So disappointed.

I did the mini cubs and me class with my 15 month old. The class says it’s for children ages 1-3, but it is NOT age appropriate for kids ages 1-2. They expected all the children to stand in line, stay with the group the entire time and do all the exercises, most of which my child can’t do because he’s just too little. I felt a ton of pressure to keep my child with the class and do everything the coach wanted them to do. I was doing the best I could to keep him participating even though the expectations were outrageous. As I’m doing that the coach tells us parents to control our children better because if we don’t they will never learn to follow instructions. My kid is one 😂 after that I left in the middle of the class. The instructor does not understand child development and what is appropriate at what age. This class is fine if your child is three, but one and two year olds are not fit for the expectations they have.

My son started there a year ago and at first the ninga program was really good. But then it slowly went downhill. With the coach’s not helping my son learn new tricks or the other coaches goofing off with other coaches while they are supposed to be learning. It was being to be a waste of time and money. Don’t recommend this program.

My son started Ninja training a few months ago and he loves it so much. He is getting strong and his confidence is growing. A big part of my sons growth comes from his coach, Braxton. If you have the opportunity to enroll your child into a class taught by Braxton, I highly recommend it. Braxton has been a great role model for my son. Braxton is patient, sweet and positive with the kids in his class. I am so glad my son is in Braxton’s class at Gymcats.

We LOVE to have parties at Gymcats! The staff is great, they even help with set up and clean up. There is a separate party room for cake, ice cream and gifts, and the kiddos love using the gym equipment. The foam pit is always a favorite! I've had two parties here, and have another one planned this summer. Thanks Gymcats!

My kids went to gym cats for one year. They were in the lowest placed class for 8 months. They only advanced after I pressured them about why they hadn't advanced after 8 months of the same thing. The teacher that they had was new, and when I asked her about her experience she said she had no gymnastics experience what so ever. no wonder why my kids didn't ever learn anything. The people managing the facility also do not know what they are doing. They can never give you the same answer twice and give you the run around, that is if you can get anyone to actually talk to you. I had high hopes for Gym cats but was disappointed and now my kids have a bad taste in their mouth for Gymnastics and don't want to do it again 😕. Don't worry if your kid is a natural they put them on a pedastle, but if your kid needs some guidance and teaching your just a number to them and they don't really care.

We started coming to gymcats about a year or more ago. We LOVE miss Kim. She is so hands-on and my daughter has learned so much. She genuinely loves the kids and does everything with them. She has even helped my other children during free time to learn cartwheels and other things they wanted to but they didn't want to do a whole class. We've also loved Paige and Alex when we've had them.

My 3-year old has been going for about 6 months. I can see definite improvement. He has learned a forward roll and loves to perform his new trick for everyone. He has learned a little rhyme he says while he does the forward roll: "get tall, get small, tuck your head, and roll!" It is the cutest thing.
90% of the instructors are great. Especially Rosanne who is my favorite. I believe there's a Makayla that I also like. We did have a less-than-great experience with one instructor, who dropped my child from the bars and he hit his head on a metal support beam as he fell to the side, and there were at least half of the 3-year olds crying at some point during the class, but I have not seen this instructor there at all since I complained after that class. After I complained, the staff seemed to really care and thanked me for the input, even thought it was negative. That is the only bad experience we had, and they corrected it immediately. That is the reason for the 4-star instead of 5-star.
We love this place and hope to be going here for a very long time. The facility is absolutely awesome, the classes are small (sometimes my child is in a class with just himself, or just one other child, and they still hold the class - amazing!!!).
They also have a super-flexible policy about making up classes if you have to miss, so that you definitely get all of the classes you pay for! I have pushed this policy to the limit at times, and they always accommodate me with no hassles.
If you are on the fence about which gymnastics gym to try, give this one a try.

We started at gymcats 8 years ago. We moved and life got busy. When my kids started asking to take gymnastics again we came back because I love gymcats. We love the staff and the environment. I haven't met one coach that doesn't genuinely care about their students. I've chose to do their preschool gymnastics rather then put my 3 yr old in 2 years of ore school. ❤️

My first experience with this gym is Vanita the receptionist. She is so warm and friendly and her voice is the cutest! She made me decide to drive from 30min away three times a week . I always appreciate seeing her with her smiling face!! I noticed one teacher right away Miss Kim and knew I needed to find a way to get my daughter to her class. I could see that her kids were a lot more developed and doing more difficult things. I also appreciated her getting down with the kids and encouraging them to grow. She really cares about the improvement of her kids.
Since my daughter moved to Kim's class My daughter has improved. My five-year-old can do a back walk over and around off backhand spring never having had any other gym experience! I'm grateful for a teacher that cares. I love a teacher is not afraid to be hands on help like miss Kim and who is great and encouraging growth.

We love GymCats and what it offers children for recreation gymnastics and Xcel competition. We have been attending GymCats for six years. We have seen many coaches come and go, including the owner. But the philosophy of building skills and self-esteem in a child has remained.
The anchor of the gym is Kim Graham. We have had her as a coach on and off for six years. I have never seen any coach who cares more about the gym and the kids she coaches than Kim. It is obvious that she does it for the love of the sport and teaching and not just for a paycheck. Kim's coaching is par to none. She can spot talent and knows how to challenge and encourage the children beyond their age. Thanks to her keen coaching program, my daughter was competing well at age seven. I have seen Kim take many kids and advance them beyond what other coaches may consider possible. She is kind and encouraging and loves the kids.
While GymCats doesn't have a high-level competitive program, we stay mainly because of Kim. We're grateful to have stumbled upon GymCats and Kim so many years ago.

I wanted to give a shout out to Gymcats! With a special shout out to Kim and Laurel! We have been with Gymcats for 11 years. When they moved to their current location, which is farther from my house than their first location, I looked into other gyms. I decided to stay with Gymcats because their policy is for the kids to LEARN gymnastics and to LOVE gymnastics! If you child wants to do it for recreation, they can! If they want to compete, they can! So many gyms push their athletes so hard and they burn out, but that is not Gymcats' philosophy and I hope it never changes. I also love that they start teaching them real skills when they are young! Other gyms I looked at played a lot of games with the little ones, with parachutes, and giant gingerbread cut outs, but Gymcats teaches skills even to my little ones. And my little ones love it! Kim and Laurel are especially amazing at their ability to teach skills, control their classes and love the kids.

We love Gymcats! We have been coming here for almost two years. The parent viewing area is so great and the facilities are top-notch. We moved from California and our gym there was mostly just little obstacle courses for preschool aged kids. At Gymcats, they learn actual gymnastics.

We have had a few different coaches for my daughter, but she really started taking off when she started up with Coach Kim. Coach Kim is amazing and really knows how to push younger gymnasts to their full potential. My daughter went from barely being able to do a kick-over to doing round-off back handsprings in just a few months. She does handsprings and handstands all over the house.

Last week I signed my daughter up for the Gymcats gymnastics , and she loves it . The coaches and the surroundings seem very professional, but I had a big let down today. I wanted to finish up the final stuff with the receptionist, but she completely cold-shouldered me for a half-hour. I stood in front of her, but she kept typing away at her computer and talking to other people. Then she suddenly stood up and left, ignoring me the whole time. After she finally came back, I asked for her help, and without even the least bit of apology, she helped me. After, not a word was said from her, like thank you or goodbye. I asked for her name, which was Mackayla. The gymnasium itself seems professional, but the people manning the front desk are, at least to me, very unprofessional and rude.

I love it there, in the short 6 weeks my children have been going there, they have learned a lot. My kids are always excited to go to gymnastics, and the waiting area has wi-fi for free, in case the parents need to get some work done (like me).
The instructors are great. However, I do have to say, for the 6 weeks we've been attending, my daugther only had 1 class with the instructor assigned to her class. They always have a substitute though, and seem failry organized so it doesn't bother me much.
My daugther is getting very serious about dance, and her classes at gymcats are helping her even more, with flexibility and strength.
We LOVE Gymcats
