Careful with this place. I canceled my membership in person. The gal working understood my reasons. Almost 8 months later the owner started billing me again. Told me I couldn’t just quit and needed to pay a cancellation fee. This place is a franchise and the main office can’t be bothered with unethical harassment. I did pay the money to be done with the owner. As for the people that work there, they are awesome. Good luck

This place is sketchy. I used to like going there. But moved far a a way and it wasn't worth the drive to me. My sister tried to go get a spray tan tonight but her cards kept "declining" and the girl working said she could use cash but they close soon. Like..... what. I referred my sister to another place in the area where her card didn't decline and she got better customer service. Do better planet Beach.

I’m not the type of person to 1- take the time to leave a review or 2- leave a negative one at that. I know how important google reviews are for companies. I do think that this one is valid and everyone should ready before walking through these doors. The staff for the most part is friendly. You just get guilt tripped when you cancel for “not liking them”. Joking or not, it’s very awkward and uncomfortable to say that when someone walks in and needs to cancel. They have you sign tons of documents when you’re signing up for a membership but fail to tell you verbally that when you cancel it’s going to be closer to $100. Most people are not going to take the time to read line by line. Even if your reason, like mine, is valid for canceling. It is very blindsiding. When I walked in yesterday, the two women working said that there was another client that came in earlier to cancel that was pretty upset because they weren’t told that either when signing up.
The only thing they’re willing to do for me right now is let me use for two more months which is over the $100 amount for things I DO NOT WANT/NEED. Or get a punch card and sell it to someone. When I first signed up all I wanted was tanning and red light. The girl who signed me up, signed me up for basically everything. I understand she wanted her commission so I was fine with that. So make sure they also don’t try to do that to you. But if they look in their system they can see I haven’t used their services in over a month, so to charge me $100 to end my membership is ridiculous to me. And my membership is about to come out again within the next few days for services I won’t be using. So I might end up having to pay over $100 unless they can actually help me out and provide me actual good customer service.

I love going to planet beach. The hot worx and the massaging beds. I have noticed over the past year that using the hot worx yoga I have strengthened and maintained muscle that has really helped in my advancing age. I feel so much better

The classes are great!! This location always has at least one machine broken and could use new equipment. The volume buttons are worn out, the Aqua bed is always broken, and no mat in a yoga room. However, the worst part is when my work schedule changed I needed to cancel my and my husband’s membership. When I signed up I was told I had to give 60 days (2 months) notice. I wasn’t told payment for those two months were due at the time of cancellation. The only other option was to pay $99 for each membership (me and my husband). They are very misleading. Yes I understand the actual policy is in the contract but when you have an employee misleading you to your face you tend to believe them because how do you know they are glossing over the details. I’m giving 2 stars because there are some really nice ladies that work there and the actual classes are good. Just be very aware when signing up the cancellation policy is garbage.

I had a decent experience till i had something come up and went to cancel. When i signed up the lady’s exact words were if you don’t love it you can cancel after 3 months. I should have read my contract better because clearly they swindle you by not explaining the full thing. What she should have said is , “ you can cancel for a big fat fee, but really you will have to pay for 5 months.”Apparently you can cancel after 3 months , but you have to pay $99 for the 5 month contract even if you aren’t going to use it. I’m about to have surgery and won’t be able to use it for months. But will still be paying regardless . If she would have explained that part i would have never signed up because i knew i wouldn’t be able to use it for a while after the 3 months.
It’s hard to book nothings ever available and it’s just not worth it honestly. I actually had heard this exact thing from a mutual friend and was worried after i signed up that i was going to have issues , but here we are having issues. Dishonest is what this place is. And i will be letting every one i know not to go here which is sad because I’m in this industry myself. I posted on fb and Instagram so people at least know what they’re getting into. Not happy and will not be returning.

I started going to planet beach because i was having major I-T band issues which was effecting my knees and mobility. I had been going to a physical therapy but it seemed like i fixed one thing another came up. Decided I needed to try something else. You can tell a lot about a company by the way staff talks to you on the phone, treats you when you walk into the door, does the business provide a positive environment for staff, and how customers feel when they leave the place of business.
I first called to find out more information. I always say say hello followed by my name. The rep remembered my name and throughout our conversation. I’m terrible with names so I can’t tell you who I spoke with.
Loved how I was treated over the phone so I thought I would take a tour. When I walked there was a customer working with a staff member. The customer was smiling and leaving positive feedback to staff member. The customer finished her conversation with staff member and left with a smile.
The staff member treated me with a smile and asked how she could help me. I told her who I was and she remembered talking me. She walked out behind the desk and shook my hand. She was professional dressed and you could tell she loved working there.
We talked a little while and she offered me a tour. I definitely said yes. She took me to each section and was informative not pushy. I was able to talk to customers. They were definitely happy because they walk/talked with a smile. They left saying see you next time vs. Finally that’s over.
Pricing is very reasonable. There is know place you can go and get a massage, workout, and tanning for the membership price. A massage alone will set you back at least $60. The membership is unlimited for a month.
Definitely check it out. I don’t think you will find it’s a waste of your time or money.

My daughter bought me a gift card for 4 visits for me and two friends as a Christmas gift. Realizing they were about to expire I called to schedule the appointments. I was put on hold two times- one of them for almost 5 minutes before I was “helped”. The girl could not get my name right. I told her-even spelled it- 3 times before she got it. My names not unusual or difficult. She didn’t understand that I had received a “gift card”- I had to literally read verbatim what the card said before she got it. She then refused to schedule my appointment. By this time I’m extremely frustrated and asked for a manager which she also refused and told me to call back when I could be “nicer”. She then hung up on me. I’m so disgusted with the disrespect I received over the phone from this establishment.

I didn't think I would like exercising in a hot box but it is wonderful. Then I can get a massage and have little to no recovery time from exercise.

I absolutely Love 💗 Planet Beach. I have the unlimited pass, It’s a must have. My favorite place to workout 🏋️‍♀️ And relax. The saunas help my aching muscles and joints so that I’m able to maximize my workouts. I also Love the unlimited access to the many spa treatments. My favorite spa treatments that I enjoy are the massage chair with red light facial, the red light therapy bed, spray tans and tanning bed. There are more fun spa treatments as well.
The staff are amazing, caring and fun too. They are always in a good mood and happy. Amy, Jessica, Luanne and Angela are absolute angels and care about health, happiness and overall wellbeing. I see them going above and beyond always. They each bring their own unique flavor to the spa and hold a special place in my heart! ❤️ You Ladies!
