This is the most incredible environment to connect and invest in ourselves. Ashlie at the front as well as her husband have brought back so much purpose and desire to reclaim my health and wellbeing. I feel so welcomed here and am now apart of a amazing gym family. After losing my oldest son and tearing my lat and shoulder it has been so frustrating trying to make this apart of my life again until I met these to who introduced me to so many who continue to inspire and motive the desire to make this a big part of my life again. Planet Fitness for the win! I have gone to multiple locations across various states and this one upholds the standard well. Very clean if things are broken it gets fixed quickly. This Planet Fitness is rarely ever overly crowded. Plus this gym has the friendliest staff. They always welcome you in and say goodbye in addition they always help and are quick!

The gym itself is fine, but trying to cancel my wife’s membership has been awful. We’ve gone in 3 times in person to cancel and every time the employee says the same thing “okay you’re good to go it’s cancelled” but then every month they try charging her bank account, we literally closed the bank account and now they’re trying to charge extra fees since they couldn’t get any money out of our now closed bank account. After going in twice in person to cancel and then seeing they’re still trying to charge the monthly fee I called and asked what the issue is and the girl said there’s no record of the 2 times we’ve come in and cancelled and that it says her membership is still active and all she said was sorry you need to come in in person to cancel when we literally already did that twice. So we went a third time and spoke with assistant manager Davey and he cancelled it “for real” this time but now 2 weeks later they’re still trying to charge the bank account…

I moved out of state and tried to cancel my membership and they said I had to go to that location I signed up on…months later I finally go to the location. I signed up with my membership with after they charged me a $60 maintenance gym fee and they refused to refund it they refuse to send it to corporate to even ask for a refund because I have been charged $50 The year prior and should’ve known about the charge. Do not get a membership here. The employees are young and don’t care about their job and are too lazy to call corporate or send an email to corporate and it sounds like corporate is just money hungry They do not care about their customers.

Working out at Planet Fitness is a great experience. If you ask someone for help or advice, they will be helpful. Most people there are trying to better themselves.
I have talked to most of the staff and they are ingadeged and super nice.
Advice...
Get the black card.
That way, you can use the massage chairs and do the red light treatment.

I can't say enough good things about the Provo Planet Fitness, especially CJ, who works the early morning shifts. After a scary health concern, I was nervous and lacked confidence returning to the gym, but CJ’s kindness and encouragement from day one has made a difference. The manager Nate should be fired. I was initially upset over an unauthorized charge and based on the way he treated me, It's sickened me on the entire planet fitness. When I try to call corporate it just goes to voicemail or they say they can't do anything because it depends on the club and the club has a very out of place manager.

I love this place because it isn't a typical gym the way things are going these days. This gym is full of people who are there to work, who are trying to get better, and who are not interested in stepping on each other's toes. No one recording themselves for social media, no nonsense, no drama. My only wish is that they were open later on Friday and Saturday. I don't often have the ability to get there in the morning, and sometimes, a night workout is needed. Maybe if we can get them a bit more busy, they can expand the hours a little more for us, too?

We only had one experience here but it was poor. We drove all day to get here and they closed early and half the hydro massage chairs were out of order. Then we tried to park overnight and security threatened to tow our vehicle. We’re just average looking, not homeless, just traveling cross country.

From 6pm to 7:30 pm on 5/6/2024, at 6:30 pm, the coach was having a meeting with other members within the scheduled lesson times on the wall, and when I asked if I could join the "burn" workout at 7 pm, he claimed that we couldn't have the class due to insufficient space in the studio. I then asked if I could join the "Core" class scheduled for 7:30 pm to try my luck again, and he agreed. As agreed, I approached the coach at 7:30 pm, and despite having two extra staff members (Dany or Davy) waiting at the counter, the coach was trying to lubricate the machines with a can of WD-40 in hand. After making me wait for an hour for the class without informing me, he abruptly canceled it. I was uncomfortable with these unfair and arbitrary decisions made in this branch without consulting a manager or the customer's opinion. Contrary to the "Judgement free zone" idea, this demotivating action split my workout in half and left me having to write a review to you, which has cooled my enthusiasm for the training. As someone who travels constantly between cities and resides in New York, one hour holds great significance for me, and I kindly request that you ensure the high standards your brand upholds in New York are also maintained in Provo, Utah.

I normally don't leave bad reviews but this was the absolute worst planet fitness. When I got there I gave my info and they couldn't pull me up. I told them that it was on my phone but it was dead and offered 3 times to pull it up by charging the girl at the desk said it was okay and let me go back. They then proceeded to come into the shower area and tell me I needed to prove that I was a member because it only came up as a guest member.i had to problem showing them. Some hours later they came with security in the shower area and demanded I speak to the manager Nate. It was very rude and aggressive. I normally do not push that things are racially charged but I know this was. They wanted me to prove my membership I couldn't find my bottom so I had him plug in my phone which h didn't want to do. He berated me about how much time I spent in the bathroom and said I was loitering when I was showering which water therapy SINCE THEY HAVE NO POOL HELPS MY ANXIETY. AND I HAVE NEVER BEEN TOLD THAT THERE IS A TIME LIMIT ON SHOWERS. I HAVE A SERVICE DOG WHOSE PAPERS WERE PUT ON FILE. AND SHE WAS IN THE STALL ACROSS FROM THE SHOWER QUIET AND HE TRIED TO MAKE THAT AN ISSUE THAT THEY WERE WORRIED. THEN WHEN I PROVED THAT I HAD A MEMBERSHIP HE REFUSED TO APOLOGIZE AND CONTINUED TO ANTAGONIZE ME. I CALMLY ASKED COULD HE REFRAIN FROM SPEAKING TO ME LIKE THAT AS I WAS FEELING ANXIOUS. HE MOVKED ME AND MADE FUN OF MY CONDITION THE SECURITY WAS JUST AS AWFUL ISSAC. BOTH MEN YELLED AT ME FOR NO REASON AFTER I TOLD THEM I WAS LEAVING. I AM A VICTIM OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND HAVING TO TWO MEN YELL AT ME UNNECESSARILY HAS ME TRAUMATIZED. WHEN I SAID I WAS GOING TO HAVE A PANIC ATTACK NATE STATED I WAS PLAYING A VICTIM. I LEFT AND HE STILL Continued MAKING REMARKS. THEN SECURITY FOLLOWED ME INTO ANOTHER STORE FOR NO REASON AS I QUIETLY LEFT. THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I HAD ONLY BEEN VISITING THIS AREA FOR A HEALING RETREAT WHICH IS WHY MY LUGGAGE WAS WITH ME...AND MY MEMBERSHIP SHOWED I WAS A BLACK CARD MEMBER. THANKFULLY MY FATHER WHO IS A LAWYER WILL GLADLY BE PROCEEDING WITH FURTHER ACTION FOR MY DISTRESS AND HARASSMENT.

I am updating this review because 95%of the staff that were working here when I first joined 10 months ago, no longer work here and the new staff are not that great. They hired a bunch of new generation, no personality, no-drive types that are on their phone right in front, in view of others. I seen a customer stand there and watch the worker sitting down looking at her phone for over 90 seconds!! I did leave my old original review below ⬇️⬇️

Planet fitness is really affordable and this location specifically is currently not really busy. There is never a wait to use any machine. They have multiple machines so you will be almost guaranteed free reign to use whatever you like at any time. They have free weights besides machines and specialty machines. 2 different rooms for lifting in a quicker fashion and a stretching room. Black card members have additional services which include tanning, red light therapy and a couple different massage chair options. The only down side is they close early, actually really early on some nights.

Really happy with my (albeit limited) experience with Planet Fitness in Provo. I was a Vasa member in American Fork and tried to squeeze workouts in on my way to or from work, which led me to trying to shower after exercising. Using the showers at Vasa was pretty gross and really poorly laid out. Not to mention, the hours that work for me seem to work for EVERYONE else so I was frequently waiting 20ish min or needing to revise my workout plan for the day because it was so dang busy. So last week when I stumble into PF in Provo, which happens to be a ~2 minute drive from my work, I see how clean it is, how friendly the staff is, and how EMPTY it is in the middle of the day, I'm like, "wait, $25 gets me this basically private gym with a great shower set up AND the hydromassage + massage chairs?" Kind of a no brainer. I love doing the quick massage after a workout + shower - really helps hit reset on the day *and* I'm saving time because I can actually just go pick a machine / dumbbells in the weight I want / any choice of cardio with lots of functional displays. Excited to try out the red light therapy.

Aside, if you're visiting Amsterdam, don't go for the red light therapy - it means something very different there.

Joined a couple weeks ago after a friend referred me, and so far, so good! I LOVE that they have red light therapy without the harmful UV rays!! I use it every time I go as a VIP member. I also love the hydromassages. And the unlimited personal training is another added perk! I met with the trainer and he made me a customized workout that works for my specific health needs and goals. He's very knowledgeable and friendly! I love the anti-intimidation environment; it's very welcoming. The Provo location is never busy, and that's another plus. I got some birthday gifts and new member gifts on the app, and there are very helpful things on there like guided workouts and a crowd meter so you can see how busy it is before you go. The only downside I can think of is there's no pool, hot tub, or sauna. Eh, who needs 'em anyway? Great job, Planet Fitness!

I just had a great time over at the gym today. Faiva and Nolan Were working there today and were working super hard. I noticed how much attention they were paying to cleaning. While I was there they made sure that everything was clean and in good working order, and they gave great customer service to all the members over there. I thought about giving this location 4 stars because of some missing benches in the locker room, or some handles being askew on some of the machines. Then I thought about the overall experience, and that brought me to the staff. The staff at this location are brilliant. They get to know you and your routine, and make sure you have the best experience every time you come in. A bit of lubrication on the machine would be much appreciated a lot of them are stiff.
It's always the owner answer : Ask the manager about the issue.
I just reached the owner here about the thing to improve at your gym, why don't you take the phone and call your manager or the maintenance guy and fix the problem?
Why i won't tell the staff at the gym because they'll say ok we'll take care of it and nothing will be done.

Planet Fitness is a fine gym but has no bend which is a big downside. When trying to cancel it was the biggest hassle I have ever had to go through. I would highly NOT recommend this gym as there are tons of other gyms that are better.

Walked in and the front desk person did not acknowledge my presence. Didn't realize it is a self scan. Had to kill a bug by the smith Machines. But the place looks brand new. And the locker room is nice.

The worst customer service! Not friendly and when you need to use your black card services no one is at the desk to be found. Even when someone is at the desk to be found the employees act put out to help. Do yourself a favor and find a different gym. There have even been times where a sign was taped to the desk that said call this number for help. I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but my last straw was when I brought a guest my son and he was told he could not sit on the sofa and wait for me bc he is not a black card member. He has waited in that same spot numerous times before. I was told this is policy that only black card members can sit on the sofa. WHAT?!?! Then why did the other employee that checked me in say nothing! Nothing is consistent here except for the lack of service. See the picture of the unattended desk and sign...

It was nice expierencing a new gym. Something I would like to do in life is workout in all 50 states. I would just suggest getting staff that's more attentive to there guests. The gentleman running the front desk didnt even look up at me as I told him to have a nice day when exiting. Being a first timer at a planet fitness I would imagine they would want to obtain my business since I had scanned in on a guest pass,but the gentleman running the front desk couldn't tell you that cause he had more important things to look at on his phone. Equipment isnt all I look at when it comes to a gym/fitness facility. A friendly motivate staff is very important to me as well. The young lady walking around refilling the sanitation bottles was very friendly and smiled alot.

Here on a Thursday about noon, about 30 people in here, larger facility, the one negative is there are only two fans, and those are over the cardio area there are no other fans over the other areas, a facility this large should have at least two more. Otherwise very clean, staff at the front counter we're polite. No active walking around and cleaning up the machines or preventive maintenance. Good parking outside. Ceiling is completely painted black, a lot of others are painted white which increased the lighting and the look of the whole area.
