I travel all over the country and have been to hundreds of Planet Fitnesses. I don't know about other Planet Fitnesses in Utah but this one is in my top 5 for the country. Better soap than most places use and the employees are always cleaning something instead of leaving the members to do it.

Was really looking forward to signing up. Your facility was great, as was your staff. Logged on, filled out my info, added my credit card, then it wanted my bank account info and wouldn't let me finish without it. That's unfortunate, and a low quality business decision. No doubt you will be fine without my business. But likewise, a competitor will be that much better off with my business. I ended up signing at EoS, they only required a credit card, period.

Music is by far the loudest out of all the locations I've been to around the country. Hard to hear your own stuff unless you turn it up to max volume and even then the music is heavily competing with what you're listening to. This is even with noise cancelling headphones on.

This location is very clean. I haven’t had this issue at other locations but they keep the temperature so low that even when I’m working out my hardest, I’m so cold that it’s uncomfortable. They also wouldn’t let me jump rope even though I was off in the corner trying to mind my own business and stay out of other people’s way. When I asked why I wasn’t allowed to jump rope, they said that I wasn’t allowed to “bring in my own equipment” but I haven’t had that issue at any other locations either and I’ve been a member for over 5 years. I also bring in my own barbell pad but no one has ever mentioned me not being able to bring that in.

If your planing on getting a membership, just down load the app and sign yourself up. The staff isn’t interested in customer service. I asked where are the hydro massagers, they ignored that question and asked me if I wanted to use the tanning bed. I’ve never written a review before, but my experience here is figure it out for yourself and don’t bother the staff. This place doesn’t have chick-fil-a customer service.

Candice is the best club manager I have ever been associated with in over 25+ years in several different gyms ranging from Atlanta to Chicago to Utah. Her and her crew are like family to me. I was thinking about going to a different gym, but I can't and won't due to Candice and her team. No problems at this club and always clean and functional equipment. I'm new to Planet Fitness and I'm impressed. I've been working out 6 days a week for 4 years at a different local gym and PF destroys them! Better machines, nicer staff, competent staff, cleaner environment, nicer and cleaner locker room / bathrooms, machines get repaired quickly. The machines feel tighter / more stable too.

My only complaint is they only have 1 calf machine and it's currently in repair status. I would love a standing shoulder calf raise machine there but can live without it for all the other benefits.

Absolutely love this planet, however there are cons that make us want to switch. The manager is very passive aggressive and when I mentioned the air fresheners were way too strong,(you can’t even breathe in the bathroom, it goes off every 3 mins) she let me know they are going to tone them down and was really off putting with fake niceness. The air fresheners are still the same thick sickening smell that are absolutely horrible for hormones, two weeks later. Super disappointing as this gym is perfect in all other aspects. A shame, I wish they would just take them out completely for the sake of everyone’s health, but there’s tootsie rolls at the front so health is not the main concern of corporate, clearly.

This gym is always busy. They really need a second lateral leg press. It's clean, always neat, and broken machines get fixed quickly.

It doesn't have all the bells and whistles as regular gyms, but that's kind of the point of PF.

I love it here. The staff are all so fun and friendly. I love how they interact with patrons and each other. Honestly seeing them is our favorite part of the night. Good humans. Pay them well.

I came in as a visitor with my friend, thinking about getting a membership here, my friend went to tan and I went to tell her where i'd be at in the gym when she was done. then an employee "Sierra" then came back and started harassing us because she made an assumption that I was going in to tan, she threatened to put a block on my friends membership, I then sat on the couch because I was too uncomfortable to go work out without my friend. Sierra then came back to tell me they have cameras and will be watching me. Then 2 others employees continued to watch me throughout the gym when I did absolutely nothing wrong. will definitely not be getting a membership here.

my friend and i came in to work out, i was about to tan and he came up to tell me where he was going to be in the gym and “sierra” ran up to us and assumed we were having him tan even tho he was just talking to me and started yelling at us and harassing us. in front of the whole gym. threatening to block my membership and everything. HORRIBLE management. my friend who wanted to come to see if he wanted a membership here, was then too uncomfortable to go anywhere in the gym with out me. planet fitness whole thing is “to make everyone comfortable” but she definitely made me and my friend super uncomfortable. i’ve been coming to planet fitness for awhile and she’s the worst employee ive talked to. 0/5 stars until she’s fired

What kills this location is the extremely strong scent of air fresheners. Couldn't finish the workout and had to leave early due to cognitive symptoms.
Would be a great gym but the air freshener fumes make it unusable for us.
Air fresheners are extremely toxic and breathing them in during a workout is especially dangerous.
We did inquire at the front desk if they would ever consider a safer alternative (such as air purifiers). She mentioned other people had complained but we were told corporate dictates the use of air fresheners, so their hands were tied.
We also use another location and you only smell air freshener in the entryway of that location, not while you're exercising, so it is acceptable at that alternate location.

I was hit with some attitude and rudeness. Sometimes I barrow the tanning room for a quick 5min change in and out of my gym cloths because I feel uncomfortable walking around naked in the locker room. The female staff bangs at the door really loud and and with a stern rude voice advise that I need use the locker, after I apologize two times she was still pissed, I can understand if they need to clean and sanitize the room after if some just enters and walk out of the tanning room, if she explained it that way, I would understand and I would never go in the tanning room again. Sorry you had to work a little today. As a corporate owner giving my employees incentives to join planet fitness. You can say now that I will not be extending my company contract. What a shame one person caused the company thousands $$$$.

Been coming to this location since 2016, and a previous location since 2010. I used to really enjoy going to Planet fitness, the marketing, the atmosphere, the cleanliness and friendly associates. Now it’s so packed at the times I go, I can rarely get the machines I come to use. The parking lot is a nightmare. And the crowd meter is for sure a joke in itself, and doesn’t accurately represent the amount of people inside when it’s busy. It’s also frustrating when certain gym users lay claim to multiple machines at once (this never used to happen). It’s too busy for this. Time to build another location. Please get rid of some of the lesser used machines and make room for more bench press machines to make it a better experience for weight lifters. Due to these reasons, today I made the decision to cancel because I can ultimately get the same workout, if not better at home without the hassle.

The huge "Lunk Alarm" on the wall is a joke and comes across as a double standard. There was a group training in the back corner that could be heard all the way across the gym even if you had your own music turned up loud. Specifically they were slamming heavy training ropes on the ground making loud banging noises.

Spent 20mins on the bike with my uncle on the phone as my personal trainer and then moved on to the row machine and he was teaching me how to sit properly on it. I had a white, male worker come up to me to tell me that I can't use my phone or record myself working out and that I can only use my phone in the lobby and nowhere else. Mind you, there were two other white males using their phones by the row machines and the bathrooms by the treadmills. I did not record myself, I was on FaceTime with my uncle with my phone only facing me and nothing and no one else. My uncle asked if there were signs around that said no phones and I asked a female worker whom was also white with long black hair and two blonde streaks in the front of her hair if she could take me to a sign in this Planet Fitness gym with the words no cell phones on it and she would not show me a sign or take me to any. She said they were around. I told them I'll take my business elsewhere since I did not sign a contract upon request by the blonde white male worker at the front desk. I went to the bathroom on my phone with my uncle to change my clothes and left. I am disappointed in the staff here, this was my first time going to a gym in years.

This is the best Planet Fitnesses location. They are willing to sign you upon the club. The Millcreek location said you can only sign up using the app. The staff is extremely friendly unlike the Millcreek location. And willing to help. It is a totally different culture at this location with this ownership!
