I just cancelled my Vasa membership and joined Planet Fitness. Great decision. Huge parking lot, very clean gym, friendly professional staff. I especially want to call out Crystal Perea who signed me up. She is very professional, articulate, great personality and smiles with her eyes - she obviously is passionate about her job. I travel through the NW States for work and visit other PF locations fairly often. One of the reasons I choose PF is because of the convenience and consistency of the service and available equipment from City to City. Overall, they all do great. But I’ll say of all of those I’ve visited, West Jordan delivers the best! It’s always clean. The equipment is in good order and I’ve seen pads and parts replaced or fixed quickly when needed. One of the best parts is the spaciousness of the gym. It’s great that you don’t have to ‘be part’ of someone’s workout when they’re on the machine right next to you (that is something I’ve felt at a lot of the other locations). And most of the team you have there do a great job, are friendly and responsive. I wish you were 24x7, but I get the economics. I’d recommend anyone looking for a good gym to join.

I've been a member for about 4 years. I was going to South Jordan but moved early this year to West Jordan. The WJ facility is fairly new. Upgraded massage chairs and all the black card amenities are available here. It doesn't seem to be overly crowded but it is Covid and I work odd hours. I have not experianced any overtly negative situations. Average arraignment of free weights and machines. With social distancing, every 2-3 cardio machines are closed, which, I appreciate. The only real complaint is they are not open 24/7. Hours are 24/5. They close at 9pm on Friday and run 7am to 7pm Sat-Sun.

I'm a new client and I was having a great experience enjoying this gym but today an employee mistreated me and my guess in the first meeting she asked me to register my guess I told her that I had never been asked to do it and she was very rude when she told me to register or leave! I only asked her why they hadn't asked me before which she replied that is no her problem register her or leave me those were her words I told her that I shouldn't treat a client like that And she said that they paid her to take people out, she was arguing with me and told me to leave and not to go back to that gym just to ask her a simple question? They should really need to train their employees better so that they treat their customers better I really want to talk to a manager ,I don't deserve to be treated this way I think customers deserve to be treated politely and respect which this employee I don't know if she had a bad day but she only treated us badly

I was a loyal member of Planet Fitness for years. I built great relationships with the staff and fellow gym goers. I tried my best to keep the gym clean by wiping down the machines and assisting where I could. However, the security of the gym was underappreciated. My wallet was stolen in a locked locker by someone that wasn't a member. The front desk staff allowed a group of hooded men to enter the gym and "use the bathroom". I guess multiple thefts occurred that day. What I found weird was the staff saying it was an inside job... scary. Since then I've had my identity stolen multiple times, it's been hard.
Apart from that, the machines seem to be in good working condition besides the new bikes. They could never connect to the internet and the programs never seemed to load. I also wish the staff would have monitored the bathroom schedule more frequently. It was evident that the showers and toilets went a few days in between cleanings, maybe even a whole week. The staff blamed it on staff shortages, but there was always at least 3-4 employees there at a time. Please, wear sandals when showering and wash your hands after touching anything in the bathrooms.

I’ve been working out at this PF gym for years and years now in the mornings, from about 6:30 or 7:00 AM to 8:00 or 9:30 AM and I have yet to have a poor experience.

It’s very rare to see a broken machine, and if you do see one it’s not broken for long. The machines are well maintained and work perfect. It’s also a very clean gym, including the restrooms. Every staff member I’ve encountered, and there have been a few now, have been very friendly and helpful.

There is a great variety of machines for just about any workout you can hope for. And it’s great to see the gym investing in some new machines that they just recently put on the west wall. Because of the vast variety of machines I hardly find myself having to wait for the machine I need.

100% recommend this gym. I’ve heard good things about EOS, but what you get at this gym for the price you pay I can’t justify leaving.

This is a fantastic gym. I have been a Black Membership holder at this location for about two years. When I chose a gym, I considered three things: well-maintained equipment, cleanliness, and a not-too-crowded environment with not too many kids. This location met all of the above criteria. Plus, after I started bringing a guest every time I worked out and utilizing the hydromassage, I feel like the membership is a steal. It’s such a fantastic value. In addition to all this, the staff are friendly too! It is impossible for me to think of any reason to take even one star off.

I see reviews from some people complaining about the hours not being 24/7. I totally agree with them. The limited hours don't have a big impact on me because I can always choose to go to another location. However, if I had a regular membership, this could have been a concern for me. I hope this location becomes 24/7, which would eliminate the only downside.

I've been here for a little over 6 months. My experience is that this gym is new to exercising, or someone who wants a healthy body, especially for girls. First of all, the gym is clean, and the boss is very friendly, especially in the gym. The organization is also good enough unless it's meant to be a professional bodybuilder or power lifter.

I didn’t really have a problem with this gym until I had to cancel my membership. There’s no way to cancel except for going in and doing so in person. So I did a week ago, and they still charged me full payment yesterday. I called today and spoke with someone about it and they were no help. I mentioned to him that the lady who helped me cancel last week confirmed no fees or further payments and the guy told me to prove it. Members take care of the equipment here, and I hardly ever have to wait for a machine, unlike some other gyms. It'd be nice if they could switch out some ellipticals for more leg press machines, because there's only one. But it's s like that at other PF locations. The staff are great. Only been to this club twice but I love it more than my "home club" its not crowded, they seem to have a more updated vibe than some other clubs. Its also very very clean. They keep the doors open to the black card club and I think that's nice, it gives it a more inviting look so non black card members can peek inside and see that we're not in some high class group and they're just in "coach" if that makes sense.

Pretty unimpressed when I came in at about 2:30 am to set up a membership. Hardly anyone in the building and a pink haired employee working the front desk. She had glasses, a headset on and was on her phone. She seemed busy so I politely and patiently waited until she was ready. She made eye contact with me a few times acknowledging my presence. This went on for about 3-5 minutes until I finally just asked if this is where I set up a membership. She replied that all I need to do is scan in, I then repeated myself with I was looking to set up a membership. She understood me there and then said to just go on the app. I asked her if the company accepted cash, she said no so I then said thank you and started to walk away. She tried to apologize and said that she thought I was waiting for someone. I told her no, I was waiting for you at the desk and you seemed busy and I didn't want to be rude and interrupt her. I feel she wasn't busy with anything work related and honestly I felt a real negative feeling about the whole situation. I was excited to start working out here because of the 24 hours 5 days a week situation and the current deal going on with the base membership. I don't feel like I want to work out here anymore. To conclude this I just want to say I hope there are surveillance cameras that monitor the front desk and I hope the management team will take some time to review the footage of around 2:25 - 2:35 am. The lack of attention from a graveyard employee during slow hours is just concerning to me. Will probably go work out elsewhere now.

The gym itself isn’t so bad. Has plenty of machines to use, and it’s never overly busy. However I am planning on cancelling my membership because although it claims to be a judgment free zone, some staff at the rude desk is rude and very judgmental. I went in for a workout, scanned my ID and the guy told me I had to take a picture. I walked back and stood so he could snap one really quick and he made a point to tell me that it had been a long time since I had been in. I replied saying that I usually go to a gym closer to work because it’s more convenient, but I was off and this location was closer. He replied with “Uh-huh sure.” Even if I hadn’t been going to the gym during the time in between, isn’t the whole point of a no judgement zone to support people who are looking to better themselves? I was still paying the membership fee that whole time, so I don’t really see how it was any of his business anyways. I was going to cancel after my workout, but didn’t want to feel anymore judged.

Friendly staff and a good selection of weights and machines. My favorite is the 30 minute circuit that's painted yellow. It'll kick your butt but it'll also transform your body. For the monthly price of $10 you can't beat what they offer. Why pay more at other gyms when you don't have to. They have a more complete membership for $25 which gets you even more than the $10 membership. So it depends on what you desire from a gym. Go check it out. It's worth your time.

FYI - i only recommend places that are worth your precious time. Why go somewhere and waste your time? I'm not into that. I wouldn't send you somewhere to waste your time. Also I'm not affiliated with any place i recommend. If it ever happens i promise to tell you up front.

As far as gym's go this is a good location. Machine's are always in working order and crowds aren't bad for the early morning crew. I'd prefer more free weights and benches with racks (other than the Smith machine). But for the price, who am I to complain?

This review would have 5 stars but I can't punish the entire staff and gym for one rude staff member. My husband and I with our two teenage sons have been members for 3 months now and have enjoyed the fact the we can bring each of our sons to the gym under our black card memberships until today. The new assistant manager made us set up my each of our sons with their own bar codes that we have to send a screenshot if one boy goes with a different parent. And when we checked out like we always do using a hydro bed or a massage chair I was told that our guests can't use either but if we asked nicely he would let us. I don't appreciate being talked to like a 5yr. Old. This really discourages families trying to be more active together. When said we've been doing this for 3 months, he rudely said if read our agreement you'll understand.

When I come to workout at 6am today, the door is closed, no one in there, I am still waiting in the car for an hour still no one show up to work. It open at 6am in their website this is at jordan landing.
