The gym is organized and clean. I went yesterday for trial pass and I met one of the staff very kind to give me a tour unfortunately I wanted to try on the facilities they provide to be able to decide to get my membership the pass should include all the amenities I asked for the red light theraphy and they declined and said they will only allow it for people that is already a member for some waiver disclosure i mean you could sign a waiver too what's the difference ?I would have sign up with them , they loose a possible lifetime member just because of thier nonsense protocol. I was shopping around to get a membership as I am big for exercise. 4 Star for the staff that show me the place was really nice and friendly .

HOLY CROWDED. Why does the app lie? If the meter for crowds is at 0, why is it when I walk in, there is nothing open and it’s a huge waste of time? Doesn’t really make sense.

I came in on Tuesday at 6-7 pm, I expected it to be crowded BUT, because the app told me it wouldn’t be, I came to this location instead of the further one I usually frequent (BECAUSE of crowds). I’ll continue to drive to Murray. Thanks anyway!

Funnily enough, if you look at Google’s live data for crowd, Tuesday at 6pm is as busy as it gets.

I have been going here for over a year. Showed up at 6 AM on Wednesday June 11th to work out to find the gym randomly closed. Nothing posted on the doors about the closure. It’s not a holiday. No clue why they decided to randomly close today.

Very disappointed with this branch’s membership service. Most importantly, how it’s management handle their members’ concerns. Me and my husband have been going to Planet fitness in West Valley branch for the past year. We froze our accounts for the next 3 months due to my pregnancy condition to avoid charges. During this period we were charged for an annual fee $52.55.

The very next day we got charged, I spoke with the branch manager Kierra (if I’m not mistaken) asking if this fee can be waived until we return or refunded if we cancel the membership for the upcoming year. She told me that it will be charged unless my account is in freeze or canceled prior to the charge. I explained her that our accounts were frozen already. Then she said “No you did not”, I confirmed once again. Then she went saying that even it was on freeze I will be charged.

Apparently, their policy changed depending on my answer!! She also said it’s too much work for them to track their membership activities. I mean, that’s your job. If they can’t, they shouldn’t be in the business!! And what’s the point of me driving there to freeze my account if they don’t keep track of it.

Then she proceeded talking with me very rude and diminishing manner until she hang up on me while I was still talking. Very unprofessional and disrespectful!!

Aside from 1/50 chance the heater is on during a workout it's perfect for what it is. They'll tell you one gym is better than others but honestly it's nice and not as cramped as vasa. I also recommend coming earlier or later if you're self conscious about stuff less people more space

Im a United States Marine Corps Vet who is a OTR truck driver. I have some physical restraints from my service time. I have too park my truck at a distant and painfully walk too the gym. I like the gym but was made too walk back too the truck and get my scan bar. The person at the desk claimed she could not find my account with my name and phone number. I explained to her that its been pulled up before at this location. I explained that because I have an older phone I can not download the app. I did log in to my account online and showed her that I in fact have an account. I was like wow and took that long walk too and from the truck. After working out, I came back and ask for use of the hydro massage bed, was told that it was not available that she closed it down early because of her foot. Im like what about my back and hip. Not a good representation from that person.

Why is this gym always so freken cold!!! Especially the locker rooms!!! This planet fitness always looks clean and look taken care of, but it's always freezing in their. Bobtailed (no trailer) to the gym just as I do all across America to get a good workout in and got booted today.. $207.. Being an over the road trucker means we don't have access to a personal vehicle so we usually bobtail to places like a gym or restaurant, workout, eat, and go about our day or night. I attend PF between 4 and 6 times a week when out on the road. I am sure to park far out the way to not disturb other customers, 95 percent of the time I bobtail, I always keep the parking area clean, and I leave immediately after the workout unless it's clearly truck friendly. Planet Fitness is the backbone for truck driver fitness because they have locations everywhere, enough room to park, and they are open 24/5.. However this one is different. They will boot or tow you immediately. By the time I packed my gym bag, switched out my work clothes into some gym shorts, and threw in some earbuds they already had a boot on my truck. It's not PF it's the property management of the strip mall. If I were PF I'd think about a different location for this gym because it's running customers away.

I enjoy working out here, but I find it idiotic that they don't have a scale anywhere. God forbid that anyone has a membership here to... lose weight? What a shocking concept. For this reason alone they are a 1 star gym.

Other than this, I do appreciate the "non judgmental" atmosphere they are striving for.

I guess they must have decided that just the presence of a scale is offensive to someone. Whichever c-suite exec is responsible for this policy needs to go. They don't live in the real world.

Like every other machine in the gym, a scale is just a tool to help gauge potential changes in fitness. It doesn't judge you. Other people already do that every time they look at your body.

Consistent with the idea that a scale itself is judgmental, i would like to suggest that PF go all the way. I encourage PF to remove all the weight markings off of barbells and plates. And remove all readouts on the aerobic machines. I don't need a machine telling me how many calories I'm burning. That's very judgmental.

May I also suggest that they build cubicles around each machine so no one can even see me working out as that would be offensive.

Got a membership for the express 30 minute workout, I love that. But everytime we went there were people just sitting there doing reps (which is against policy) and we would have to ask them to move. this place is great if you're like me and have a hard time staying asleep.
Since it's open 24 hours during the week, I can show up at 2 or 3 am get my workout and shower in and still arrive by 5 or 6 to work. The night staff are great and always greet you with a smile when you arrive and a 👋 and "have a good day" when you leave.

I did notice some bad reviews about people getting their cars towed. That's inconvenient, but if you go at odd hours like I do, parking is never an issue, I usually park right in front of the entrance.

BEWARE: please make certain that you park within the section directly in front of the gym. That parking area was completely filled up last night, and I parked 2 parking spots to the right in the next section (in front of a dollar store?) and SWIFT TOWING (apparently they work for the property owners) slid his tow rig under the front of my vehicle and said that I was illegally parked! Fined me $100 before removing the tow rig. He did nothing to the tractor trailers that were “illegally” parked all night. I’ve parked overnight at dozens of 24 hour PFs and never encountered this before. Obviously a “legal” money grab scheme.

I’m a PF BLACK CARD member, just giving a heads up to anyone who goes there, especially at night (it’s a 24 hour facility), BE VERY AWARE WHERE YOU PARK or your vehicle may not be there when you come out.

There are many reasons we pick an athletic or fitness club. I just switched from VASA to Planet Fitness after months of billing issues and being over charged.. But more so the nearest location to my work was in poor condition and even poorer management. So I thought I’d try Planet Fitness.. just three minutes from work, great pricing options, no contracts, it was any easy choice to try. But to top it off the facility is clean, in good shape, equipment is i. Good yo great condition and I love that with the premium plan you can bring a guest! And one last benefit, yes they are all over and there are three or four locations within 15 minutes of me..

This planet fitness in particular is Solid! Well kept up and staff are very friendly. Only one minor issue, the power racks seem to be all sliding rail types. Not sure if thats a planet fitness thing, but also not a deal breaker for me. For others it might be though. I wasn't exactly sure of how to reach out to planet fitness so I decided to just leave a review. I have been a member here for a few years. Everytime I come in usually this staff is just standing around. They are friendly so I can't exactly complain. However often the soap and paper towels were low. All until Jean started working at this location. Holy smokes this woman knows how to work! I absolutely never see her standing around. She issuper nice and always busy. If it's not washing windows, she is washing down counters, or restocking the paper towels, refilling all of the drinks, washing off equipment and wiping it down. Every time someone uses the tanning bed she goes and wipes it down in there after they are done, I think this is supposed to be done after people tanned however I never really saw anyone doing it other than Jean. This woman is awesome she deserves a raise and a promotion!

I will say it is very spacious and the staff is pretty friendly. .

My only suggestions would be to have more disinfectant stations close by.

I'm used to planet fitness having multiple cleaning stations for you to clean equipment. I find that they do need to fix the solution cleaning holder that's in the black card spa area

I would also encourage this gym to maintain their showering areas more. It's nothing more disturbing than going to take a a shower and globs of someone else's hair in the drain so I would encourage more detail cleaning.

Surface area is clean but I noticed litter along the walls in the black card room while getting a massage. So I would say it's very important to keep your gyms clean there was enough staff to do that so I would encourage the manager or the owner to enforce sweeping and cleaning more frequently.

Their black card spa area was very spacious. They don't have hydro beds, just the hydro lounge chairs and the massage chairs and they have the tanning rooms.

After three months the 360 station has been repaired and the entire building is being cleaned. Thank you. In response to the owner regarding the prior edition of this post that stated, "Not clean. Machines have been unrepaired for months. What does the front attendant do all night?" I did speak with your staff and was given the following excused for the time it took to repair the machine: "we are number 18 on the repair guys list", "we ordered a part but it went to the wrong store, so we ordered another and had it sent to the Provo location", "we have no idea how long it will take".

I go to this planet fitness every morning. Person working the counter is always nice. Machines are always working. Once in a while there is a treadmill or 2 that is not working but not a big deal since there are so many. Going early in the morning is probably best for this one or late at night. There's just less people and you have a better chance of using whatever machine you want. There's always plenty of paper towels and spray to wipe down machines and equipment. Gym is regularly cleaned and always clean. I've had my planet fitness membership for just a little under a year and I would say that it is worth it especially if you have the black card membership. Very useful for someone who travels like myself. Definitely recommend this gym!

I have been a member at this location for years and loved the stafff they were really friendly and the gym was always cleaned nothing on the floors and the equipment was always cleaned and dusted....now there is a whole new staff at this location and the staff isn't friendly I took my daughter to the gym with me all summer and had no problem checking her in now they can't find her in the system and told me next time I need to check her in on my phone the employee acted liked we were annoying him while he's was playing on his cell phone....also now the gym isn't clean there is always things on the floor prices of paper towel, water bottles, and other things I've also noticed that all the machines have dust on them like they haven't been cleaned for months....

To owner; If/when you are open 24 hrs, please let the "mall cop" be aware for these hours to be helpful for customers.
She kicked us out of the lot when we showed up for a late night workout stating we could not park there.

Even though they don’t follow the 24 hr policy I still recommend this location. Managers are attentive to clients needs and concerns. This location is always clean and sanitized.

Drivers don't come here i was just booted they will tow your truck if you're out of it more than a hour, the city is calling the tow company to boot you

Best gym for the value. I've been told not a great place of type looking to competitively body build but for someone that just wants to workout casually it's great. The black pass is totally worth it for the tanning and hydro massage.

08/18/2032 I came in, and I approached the counter, there were three people behind the counter and one person at the counter getting assistance, I stood there, and they looked at me but they didn't even say hi to me. So I said: I want to look at the black vault room, and one of the guys said okay. I went and looked around, I came out and I had noticed a lady was signing in with her phone, so I sat down and downloaded the app and tried to get it to work. I could not get the app to work. So I approached the counter again, and they just stood and stared at me. There was no one else there but me and those three employees. The girl was sitting on the counter, none of them acknowledged me said hello or anything to me until I said I'd like to sign up for a membership. I had my phone out and I'm like I can't get the app to work and she kind of scrolls her figure across my app and said you got to do this and got to do that. Well it wouldn't work. So I said will you please sign me up at the counter, and she said we cannot do that, you have to do it through the app. Well I called another planet fitness when I walked out the door, and they told me you can be signed up at the desk. Why was I flat out blatantly lied to? I walked out without the membership and felt like I was being ignored because I'm older. Ageism? Maybe...

One of the smaller gyms I've been too, does feel like they wasted a good amount of room on their treadmills and bikes. Staff is always friendly and you never really have anyone on your case when it comes to using the machines
