All of the teachers were amazing and so patient, our little one was just too young (3yo) and she just wasn’t picking up the dances. We did have a logistical issue as well where we weren’t able to get her to and from class any longer.

I think the only suggestion I would have (and the only reason to take a star) is providing us with an actual video of the dance they were doing so we were able to practice at home with her. I think that would have helped tremendously with her progress.

Otherwise, I love the time and energy and overall fun of the staff and dancers - this will be a very successful business, especially with such a young entrepreneur running the place! We will be back in a year or two when she is ready to learn again!

After reading some of these reviews, I want to share my experience with power plus!! Although I stopped dancing 2 years ago, they’re the best studio I have ever gone to. I always felt welcomed even on my first day with a brand new team. There was never any drama. I had amazing experiences with the staff and the other dancers. I’m still friends with some of the girls I used to dance with, they’re so sweet. The staff was always nice but made sure we had discipline, it was perfect. I would not be the person I am today without my dance experience. I’m incredibly gratefulI got to go to such a loving, warm, and welcoming studio. The owner, teachers and staff are the best. I loved them all, and they were always nice to me. I felt like I was always treated fairly by my coaches, there weren’t any favorites. Not to mention, their prices are very good compared to many many others in Utah. I learned a lot while at power plus. I am so thankful for my experience with this studio. If you’re a parent reading this, I highly recommend coming to this studio. I’ve gone to three dance studios in my life and this studio is by far the best I ever went to.

My daughter has danced with Power Plus since 2013. She started in a tots class which she loved. She is now going on 3 years on a company team. She has learned so much in the years she has been with Power Plus. She has loved everything about Power Plus, from meeting new friends to making relationships with the staff. We will continue to come to Power Plus. This dance studio is number one in our book! thanks for all you do!

Power plus has been my second home since 2013 it has been the best studio to dance at. The instructors can get frustrated but it is ok because the next day they come with a great attitude and it makes you want to come to dance. I love the owner Nichol she has taught me very well and when I fall down she encourages me to get back up ant try harder. The kids on my team are just amazing everyone at power plus is a great dancer. I am soo happy to be at this studio THANK YOU power plus.

If you want your child to excel, build confidence, maximize their potential, Power Plus is not for you. If you want your child to build self esteem, be part of a team, develop and hone their skills, once again not going to get that at Power Plus. However, Power Plus will gladly take your money, and fill a spot in a class. The owner is very rude, and snobby, and that trickles down into the entire staff. The communication they offer is next to nothing. Unfortunately my child had to learn this the hard way. In the time spent at Power Plus, she didn't evolve as a performer, was treated unfairly, berated by her adult coaches, embarrassed to the point of walking out and quitting the team, and the abuse and favoritism that came with this such "team" The demeanor of the staff/coaches ect correlates with the owner. Negative morale hurts this company immensely. Coach Cassie Connell, and I use coach very loosely has a select group of students that she likes to work with. This causes other students to lose focus, lose motivation, lose trust in the team. My child for the first time in her life wasn't excited to attend classes, competitions or perform in recitals. It is very sad seeing something your child was so passionate about diminish away. Power Plus, sadly brought out the worse in her. She is strong, and will flourish somewhere else, and use this terrible experience with power plus as a learning experience, and try to take something positive with her in her future endeavors.

I have been dancing at power plus since it opened. And I can say I have had the best experience. The coaches and instructors are helpful and always there for us. They are always interacting with us dancers. At the end of the year recitals we have our instructors up there dancing with us. I have watched this studio as well as the dancers grow into amazing things. Each year we keep getting better. Nichole had done such an amazing job running the studio, also making sure everyone has the spot they deserve. You could go into the studio and ask any dancer how they feel about the studio? The majority of them would say they love it and it's a second home. By the end of each year we are sad to let our team go, each team grows a family bond with each other. Power plus is one of the most classy, professional, and fun studios. I greatly encourage you to look in to it.

The staff is really rude and unprofessional. One would think that the coaches there would try to help the dancers by helping bringing the girls self esteem up, supporting and encouraging them, but that is not the case. My niece missed one practice and when she arrived for the recital she was chewed out by her coach. She was told that she couldn't participate in the stunts and she would just have to stand there during the performance. With a daughter who does dance and competition I understand the importance of being at each practice. Things happen and sometimes no matter how hard you try, you may miss one. It doesn't mean that you just punish the kid by not letting them participate in the performance that they have practiced all year! This studio is very expensive and parents pay to watch their child and to see what they have learned, not watch them stand and do nothing 3/4 of the dance. After the performance another coach told her she looked stupid and shouldn't have come. My opinion is that was very unprofessional and not a way to talk to one of the dancers. I would NEVER take my daughter there for dance and wouldn't recommend this studio to anyone! Giving one star is being very generous!

Power plus dance studio is a second home. the teachers and staff work hard everyday to keep the studio and dancers happy. a specific teacher id like to recognize is Cassie. She is such and amazing coach. And she loves our cheer team adrenaline, with all her heart. she puts hard work and effort in to our team, and its sad that's some don't see that. id like to reply and back up a few steps to a comment earlier from trinity. she was here all year long. and she claims she is always in the back and is never in the front. when in reality. its to help her, when Cassie asked does anyone need help she doesn't say anything but when we do the dance and begin to perform, she acts like a lost puppy. Cassie works all of us the same to make sure we hit and look sharp and clean. and we switch around plenty of girls in stunts because we see which group would work better. with height and how well we can perform each stunt, she was switched out of most of them and taken out because she was late or not there at all. another topic id like to point out is. most of our team had little to no cheer experience before stepping into the studio. but as Cassie began to grow us and teach us new things we became such an amazing team. we had just finished our spring recital and killed it. I'd also like to point out is that we have scheduled times that you must be there for. there should be no one walking in 20 minutes late or completely miss the first half of comp review. the time is set specifically for practicing and working on routine. although we might not have gone on for 30 minutes we still needed her to be there to warm up. she is on a competition team and needed to start acting like it. we have times and schedules for a reason. there not there to skip around. and if they'd have a question they should have emailed Cassie or the power plus staff. and when coming to perform at one out of the four competitions we had she was once again very late and makeup and hair was not done. this most recent recital we shined like stars. but she had one sock on and threw a tantrum when our coach didn't have time to set up and warm up other stunts that she wasn't here for. this cheer experience was like no other. and she can go ahead and sign up where she pleases. but nothing will compare to the dancer, teachers, and staff at power plus. i would not go anywhere but here. its home!!πŸ’œπŸ’š

My daughter has been attending Power Plus Productions for quite a few years now. We have been with other studios in the past, but have found Nichole and the other instructors at this studio to be far more professional and easy to work with. My daughter has improved so much in her dancing since attending this studio. The prices are competitive and worth every penny. Nichole seems to really care about each student and their success in dancing to their potential. I highly recommend this studio. I believe any negative reviews reflect the lack of the student's and the parent's commitment to their team and the studio.

I've been a dancer at power plus for as long as I can remember. I took a year off awhile back and as soon as I came back the director and all of the instructors were so genuinely kind and did everything they could to get me back to what I wanted to be. They continue to push me to be my best and because of the staff i get better each time I dance. I used to be so inflexible, unable to fully express myself in my movements, and was just embarrassed of myself because I didn't think I was good enough. Every single one of the staff members quickly helped change my mind and helped to shape me into a better dancer. Power plus, we're a family. Everyone is accepted and always encouraged to do their very best. Nobody is disregarded or completely shut out. Everyone has their chance to shine. Yes, there are going to be dances where you mostly stay in the back, but there are others where you're mostly towards the front. The instructors don't favor to certain people, the put people in the formations that will work with their choreography and who works the hardest on it. Nicole does everything she can to make everyone as happy as possible. Every instructor does. I would definitely recommend this studio to anyone who wants to be their very best and be accepted for who they are. From the tots classes up to prestige, everything is so well put together and executed amazingly. This is definitely my second home. I wouldn't switch to any studio for any reason. We always win whether we do or don't, because we're a family.

Power plus is by far one of the best studios I've seen perform. Their choreography is outstanding and the girls really seemed to enjoy what they were doing. I went to watch my friends performance and my eyes were glued the whole show. It seems like a studio full of love and encouragement and I definitely would say it's not a waste of money at all.

I have been on the Power Plus Cheer team for three years now and on company teams for six. Cassie the cheer coach is amazing at what she does. She always pushes to make you the best and we always have so much fun in class. The cheer program at Power plus is unlike anywhere else with so many unique talents. I have cheered for high school and other places and really nothing compares. Referring to the earlier commment made by trinity I would like to clarify. I was on the cheer team with trinity this year. She was unable to perform fully in the end of the year recital due to the fact that she had missed multiple classes and was late to almost every practice and missed a competition as well as our first performance that day. The staff was nice enough to let her perform even though she missed but simply told her she could not stunt. She was told to stand behind the stunt and the continue choreography. She instead had a fit every time we stunted on the stage. Her father then tried to come back but there are no dads allowed back into the dressing room area because well obviously it's a dressing room. Her father then found our coach and proceeded to yell profanity at her and get in her face and the face of our company director. He did so in front of all the other children and staff. It was disgusting. That being said. Trinity was a good cheerleader and I'm sorry she felt this way. I truly wish she would have stayed and I could have watched her flourish. Power plus has been a home to me and my family since the first day we stepped in there 9 years ago. The staff and owner truly care and inspire the children there. As a returning member of the competition cheer team I fully intend to return for the upcoming season and will do so in the hopes that Cassie is my coach. She made me a terrific cheerleader and person. I love power plus and would never go anywhere else!πŸ’šπŸ’œ

As a parent of two dancers that attend Power Plus, I would highly recommend Power Plus to any parent wanting to introduce your child to dance, or introduce your child into the next level of dance or competition dance. The management and staff of Power Plus care about your child and prepare your children for so many aspects of dance. Both of my children's confidence and ability have grown and developed so much. Its humbling and emotional to witness.

Power Plus has installed discipline, the value of being a part of a team, and accountability. The staff is upfront about what is expected in the program and is always keeping you informed. The studio even gives parents progress reports so you know what your child has learned and working on. Both of my children have gained life long friends and relationships. I would recommend Power Plus to any parent wanting to start your child in dance, music, or preschool. My children have loved all their teachers and the owns of Power Plus.

After dancing with another studio for years it was a refreshing change to come to Power Plus. Professional staff who encourage and challenge my girls. We have been with them for 9 years now. They are all like family. I have watched my girls flurish from young girls into beautiful, talented young women. They not only have taught my girls dance, but also important life lessons like, being on time, team loyalty, and how to win or lose with respect. I recommend this studio to anyone looking for a dance studio for their kids.

I came to Power Plus from another competition studio, with little dance experience, all of the instructors I had and even the owner herself Nichole, coached and trained me. After dancing there for 8 years, I was able to be on high school dance and drill teams and even tryout for professional teams. Thanks to the staff and coaching at Power Plus I've been given so many opportunities and unlocked so much potential I never even knew I had. It's not often you find a studio owner who is so invested in every detail of every dancer's life. After dancing here I was able to become a staff member, and now work as an instructor, Preschool teacher, and front desk staff. I get to see how much incredible work is put into everything that goes on at the studio, and it's truly unique. Power Plus has always been a home for me, and feels very much like a family. I wouldn't dance, work, or teach, anywhere else.

Power Plus Productions has been one of the best things that has happened to me. I have been dancing there for 7 years, with the studio becoming my second home.
The teachers and the owner are extremely respectful to each and every student, treating each dancer as their own. The teachers never fail to challenge, never fail to have great choreography, and they never fail to put on a show. Power Plus teaches not only technique and the skill of dancing. But they teach to perform, also organization, patience, and respect. they've taught me, as things get hard you never give up, push through it and keep going. Power Plus is a very welcoming place, with so many kind girls. One thing I love about being on a competition team, is that you create a bond with your team that nobody else will understand. Power Plus has many classes to offer. They all are something very different, but they are leading you to becoming the best dancer. I've been dancing with Power Plus my whole life, looking up to the teachers and older girls who have become the biggest role models to me. I believe that Power Plus has shaped me into the person I am today, and that's something I'm proud to say. They have made me the dancer I am today, and have given me a different look on life that I'm forever thankful for. Power Plus is the place to be because of these things.
Sincerely, a very proud Power Plus dancer.

Power Plus, an unprofessional "place of business". The staff is (for lack of better words) snotty and the owner is nowhere to be found, ever. The young girl that she let's manage the front desk, Kim is a condescending twit and completely rude. When she is trying to explain (for instance) how a fund raiser works, she bluffs and I believe she makes things up that she doesn't know or understand. She is EXTREMELY misinformed on most business decisions or so it appears (in my opinion) so she will lie about what and why the business is making a change.

Power Plus also abuses their credit card authorizations by charging everything outside of the already monthly exorbitant fee. They charge ridiculous prices for their costumes, it would be interesting to see how much they are marking these costumes up and how much they make off each one on the back end. Please be advised if you give them your credit card information they will tack on ridiculous fees for miscellaneous charges almost every month. At this point in time I would say they really shouldn't be trusted with credit card numbers or even with merchant service privileges. Again, IMO I feel they are on the fringe of being shady. This is bad business.
I would also suggest before the owner Nicole gets too comfortable at arm's length of her business she may want to re-instill integrity back in her managers, maybe even do a little "house cleaning". I don't think it is unreasonable for her to take an interest in families that leave. It may also be a learning experience for Nicole to interview her customers upon their leaving Power Plus (unless she really doesn't care if kids leave?).
Sincerely.

My daughter has been at Power Plus since she was 3 years old and is now 10. She is on her 3rd year of being on a competition team, which has been great for her. She has grown and learned so much over the years and she loves it here. They have great instructors with great and fun choreography. They perform multiple times throughout the season giving them more opportunities to use their costumes.

My daughter has grown up within the walls of Power Plus. She started at age four and is now thirteen. When she started Power Plus was smaller than it is now but Power Plus is still small enough for my child to be more than a number, she in known by her name. My daughter has a good relationship with the owner and the teachers at Power Plus. My daughter has made several long lasting relationships with other dancers over the years as well as myself with their parents. My daughter has learned more than dance skills over the years, she has learned life lessons. She knows how to be a team player, have good sportsmanship, she knows that winning isn’t everything but to always give her best, she knows that her team members and teachers count on her. Being on a comp team requires a lot of commitment and time from the dancer and the parent and as long as my daughter is happy and reaching her goals I am all in. She considers Power Plus family and she is very proud to dance for and represent Power Plus. If you’re looking for a dance studio for your son or daughter, I would highly recommend you give Power Plus a call.
P.s. there show pieces are fantastic!!

Power Plus’s staff is friendly and they offer a structured, safe, and positive environment. They are reasonably priced offering individual dance classes, competition teams, cheer and tumbling for all ages. They challenge my daughter to be her very best and it continues to show year after year. She has tried out and been on their competition teams for over 7 years now. My daughter has confidence in herself which shows in her everyday life. She has been taught the importance of team work, responsibility, sportsmanship, competition, respect, goals, and more. At age 15 my daughter still enjoys going to Power Plus just as she did at age 6.

My girls and I have been apart of this studio for 8 years now. My girls have grown and learned so much while dancing on the highest competition teams. We have other family members that have also enrolled at power plus after seeing what a great place to dance it is. The director of the studio as well as all the instructors are real great with the kids. The teaching as well as structure keeps the kids on their toes to achieve and succeed. I look forward to many more years watching my children grow, learn and advance while we continue our Power Plus relationship.

Power Plus has been the best thing to happen to my daughter. Looking back I am so thankful that I was referred to this studio. My daughter has grown as a dancer, performer, and team player. Her love of dance and performing began at Power Plus. The owner is very involved with each student and knows each by name. I love the technique that is taught here. We had a very close friend whose daughter switched from an advanced team from another studio to Power Plus. One class down and the daughter could not believe the technique she was being taught and felt cheated from not getting the correct training through the other studio. The choreography is fun and new and we are never disappointed! Power Plus teaches them how to perform, not just dance. They teach the students to draw in the audience. They push the students/competition students to do their very best, but do not believe winning is the only answer. They want the kids to have fun. One of the things I most appreciate as a parent is their punctuality. If the show starts at 7:00, the show starts at 7:00, not 7:05. They help remind the audience not to get up or find a seat during each dance so no one misses seeing there child perform. Nichole Kesler, the owner, is a very important role model to my daughter. She is spoken about often in our home on a regular basis. Nichole is very dedicated to well being of her dancers, not just the dancing aspect, but for them as a whole. She teaches them to be confident, do the right things, treat people the right way, and never feel inadequate for their body image. I have referred many family and friends to Power Plus, all loving the experience as well.

Sincerely,
Very Proud Power Plus Parent

My girls have danced at PowerPlus for over nine years and have been on the Company teams for six or seven years. Not only have they both blossomed into beautiful dancers but they have learned about teamwork and what it means when you commit yourself to a team. They have learned that you don't give up and that the show must go on whether you have a costume malfunction or if you fall down during a move. They have also learned good sportsmanship. The instructors teach the students that, while it always feels good to win, winning isn't everything. They teach the students that as long as you tried your best and had fun that is all that they can ask for. They also teach the kids to be courteous to all dancers and give congratulations to everyone. The instructors and the owner are dedicated to the students to help them achieve their goals. They also know how to have fun and when they perform a show piece it is amazing. I've had several favorite show pieces through the years and look forward to many more. The owner is delving into new opportunities for the company teams this year by not only competing at the local competitions but to perform at local events such as the Utah Jazz pregame show and the half time show at basketball games for Westminster college. The company teams will also perform at Disneyland this year. If you are looking for a dance studio that cares about your child this is the place!!
