I loved my running analysis with Dayna! She is very personable, knowledgeable, and gives clear explanations throughout each part of the process. It has been a week since my analysis, but I can already tell a difference in my running as I now have clear parts of my running form to focus on and cues to help me make corrections. I was referred to the performance lab by the St George Running Center after they learned about an injury I've been nursing. I went in for an evaluation and Dayna spent a long time with me. We went over my current mobility and running form. Afterward she went over a personalized list of stretches, exercising and tweaks with my running form for me to work on. Far exceeded my expectations. I went to address a specific pain I had when running. This was addressed in the assessment and I was able to run further without pain right away! I learned so much and have a lot to practice going forward. It was fun to have Dayna explore my history and see how seemingly unconnected things related to my running form. She was able to find specific cues that worked for me to help me correct my form. She was also able to identify specific muscle weaknesses contributing to my issue and give me specific exercises that had an almost instant impact on how my muscles felt. Getting a gait analysis is 100% worth it. I've been running four years without realizing I've been doing in an inefficient way. Dayna pointed out what I was doing wrong, how to correct it and why it matters. She sent me home with some exercises to help correct my form and some good advice. I just put all this to the test on a race this last weekend and totally PR'd. I felt a lot better after too. Unless you're already a pro and winning every race you'll definitely improve your times and reduce your risk of injury.

Dayna is truly the salt of the earth when it comes to running! 2 years ago I decided at 33 I was going to run my first half marathon, and had came across Dayna’s Instagram page. At the time, I couldn’t run longer than 2 minutes consecutively, and had horrible shin splints. I booked a running assessment and 2 training sessions with Dayna, and she fixed me right up! A few short months later, I ran my first half marathon. After that, I was hooked and have used Dayna’s half marathon & strength plans since. I run a few marathons a year and the training is easy. There are a million plans to choose from. What I didn’t feel confident in was my nutrition plan.

The sweat test answered a lot of my questions. I now know how much to drink, how much potassium and sodium I need per hour.

I came into town from Las Vegas to see Dayna and am so glad I did! I was experiencing a lot of pain when running and I was referred to Dayna for a gait assessment. The process involved a history of my running career, an analysis of my flexibility, current problems I’m experiencing, how I warm up and other variables. I then started running on the treadmill at a comfortable pace. Dayna took videos while I ran and then showed me in slow motion, and in screenshots, very detailed looks at where I can improve. She gave me easy to remember and easy to follow cues to improve my form, and a package of stretches and strength exercises to do to support those changes. The PR performance lab has helped me so much! Dayna is such a great coach hand has not only helped me with my running form but has helped me increase my physical strength. This program is better than simlar programs because Dayna is hands on and is willing to work on what you wanted. Her flexible and hands on program has helped me increase my abilities and make me a better well rounded athlete!
