I had some professional dance friends a few weeks ago that were in need of a studio to practice routines for a future performance, and the owner Ms. Jen was able to help workout some times available to use the open safe and beautiful space! I danced at this studio from 2016-2024
And the last few years were hell, the only reason i stayed was because of my mom, jen is probably the rudest and most full of herself person i have ever met. If you’re not the “ballet body type” you don’t get as much attention as the ones that do, and when i was dancing there she had her vape out for anyone to see all the time and it even hit a kid because she was dancing with it in her pocket, this studio is nothing but unprofessional, i wouldn’t recommend this studio to anyone, this studio has given so many girls including myself an eating disorder, don’t get me wrong jen was a very nice person until a few years ago.

My children have been with this studio since 2021. My son thrived in gymnastics and hip hop, which helped him build the skills necessary to move into other interests. While my daughter has progressed from ballet and gymnastics to all other forms of dance offered. She greatly enjoys her time at the studio, and the teachers and other dancers feel like family. My daughter is starting in her second year at this studio and she loves it. Everyone is so kind and loving towards her she loves to go each week. She has made wonderful friends who don’t go to her same school. She has really started to develop her skills. I love it because your child and do as much or as little as they want. This is our third year with Premier Academy. My daughter started when she was 4. This year she was on the dance company team as well. Premier Dance Academy specializes in ballet & technique. They put on a beautiful and professional entertaining end of the year program. It is one of the best I’ve been to and I’ve been to alot. Ms.Jen not only owns, directs and teaches the girls…she also choreographs many dances on top of her other duties! Ms. Kami is one of the nicest & best dance teachers. I implore anyone considering this studio to go elsewhere. It has devolved into a place no child should be allowed. The children are bullied and corrected with excessive force. My kids would come home regularly crying because of the treatment from the director. We left and will never go back.

I have LOVED this dance studio for my girls. We are moving and this is one of the things that has made the move seem hard, leaving our Premier Dance family. My girls have made such good friends and grown so much as dancers.
Ms. Jen and Kellie Rae always made my girls and I, feel loved and welcome. This was the type of studio I was looking for, and I’m so grateful we found it. We Joined Premier Dance Academy a few years ago. I wanted to find my daughter a great studio that was worth the money spent that would also teach her proper technique. My expectations were exceeded and continue to be exceeded 3 years later. A few years ago, My daughter started in the Kinder Class. After watching my daughter fall more and more in love with dance we decided to take the leap and audition for the competition team (EDC). My daughter worked hard and auditioned, gaining a spot on the petite company team. I have watched my daughter grow so much as a young girl. Dance has been so good for her. She is not only learning life lessons as well as the freedom to grow and build relationships with girls in every age group. Dancing with her team is teaching her leadership and how to hold herself with responsibility, respect, courage, dedication. We had tried multiple dance studios prior to my daughter Maycee starting at Jennifer Hansen premier in 2019. We had yet to find a studio that really pushed Maycee and helped strengthen her hip hop skills. We were beyond impressed within the first few months and knew we had found the right fit. Maycee continued to thrive in hip hop and loved the environment so much that she decided to venture into other methods of dance. She now takes ballet, jazz and lyrical and is a part of the hip hop competition team. The staff is amazing and I have always felt my daughter is truly cared for. I guess, I'm very attached to my kids but with their ages, they should be a little more lax with parents..

As a dance judge for the past 12 years, I have always been sooo impressed with the dancers from Jennifer Hansen's Premier Dance Academy. So much so, that last year I knew I had to try to be a part of the fabulous faculty! Ms. Jennifer was gracious enough to accept me as a small part of the staff, and the students here have been absolutely amazing. They've been taught so well in how to be respectful, have a kind and encouraging treatment toward each other, and progression in their development that is stunning! Observing how the studio runs from enrollment and class evaluations to the recital and opportunities for dancers for the last year and a half has been a TREAT. Each faculty member truly LOVES what they do and LOVES these kids. There is loving professionalism that permeates each classroom. Just a heads up to anyone who thinks about going here NOT as part of their ensemble team..... DON'T. We sent our daughter here for two summers and one full year, and it was such a waste. No one is allowed into the studio to watch what is happening during class, which is understandable due to covid, but meant the full year we had no idea what was being taught. When it came time for the annual performance, we sat for OVER 4 HOURS watching ensemble dancers perform individual dances, group dances, multiple dances from each different class they took, and finally toward the very end, our daughter's non-ensemble class came out for LESS THAN 60 SECONDS and performed a dance that was certainly nothing special. A $100 recital fee, a $50 costume fee, tickets, and they even made us buy programs! All for less than 60 seconds on stage (I recorded the whole dance and honestly got less than a minute) and the realization that the girls had learned pretty much NOTHING in an entire year! Even the teachers did a dance that was longer than my daughter's class'!!! Soooooo annoyed. We wasted so much money at this studio, and recommended this place to several friends that were equally unhappy👎.

I LOVE Jennifer Hansen's Premier Dance Academy!! Being a professional dancer myself, I really appreciate the top-notch technique and discipline that PDA students receive, in a wide variety of dance styles. I'm also constantly blown away by the respect, kindness and support that the students and staff show to each other. This is the BEST studio with the best teachers and staff! My kids are not only learning amazing dance technique, but also life ones like commitment, responsibility, respect plus, they have a lot of fun and best friends! What else can we look for! For the person that gave this studio 1 ⭐️, you’re a joke. This studio is run so professionally it’s almost overwhelming, but so worth it in the end. I too was at the end year recital on Friday night and I can recount at least 5 seats that were around me fully open, maybe you should come on time to get seats together 🤔, just a thought. Or instead of standing in the back go towards the front where the first 2 rows were open!!! Don’t complain just out of your own ignorance. The overall experience your daughter had with learn dance was great, correct? So why complain when you came LATE TO A PERFORMANCE!!! How inconsiderate.

I had the blessing to see my niece perform at her recital this past weekend and could not have been more impressed! I loved the costumes, choreography and especially enjoyed the little ones. Hoping to be able to visit Utah again next year and be there during recital time! ❤❤

❤️12/10!! Before taking at Jennifer’s PDA, I was less confident as a dancer AND person. The confidence transformation that took place over just one year at her studio was drastic. And it’s because all the teachers are top notch AND because Jennifer knows every students names and looks at you and treats you like she sees your potential. She will positively influence anyone shes with just by her nature!! I’ve taken at several studios, and every single teacher here was more prepared and professional than I have had had previous ones, they were so prepared with class and gave great feedback!! Jennifer took her time to get to know me and let me try different classes to see what was the best fit. She made sure I was challenged and also receiving the best Foundation possible. The creativity and discipline that is fostered here is ideal for anyone wanting to dance, whether you want to train seriously or take recreationally

The most amazing and professional recital I have ever seen! Every single dance was spectacular and my entire family enjoined watching it! The choreography was beautiful and the dancers were amazing! I have been with Premier Dance Academy and have worked with Jennifer Hansen for 3 years.
She is amazing and I love her consistency and strict technique. She is an amazing business owner. As for the Mr Poel’s (1 star Review), I also had a dancer in the recital he was mad about. Jennifer sends out at least 1-3 emails per week and during recital time it’s daily (sometimes many per day) emails reminding us about hair/makeup/parking etc and especially tickets. It is very clear to anyone who actually reads the emails that the tickets are first come, first serve and that the doors open 30 Mins before the show. She even got us parking passes for the shows and rehearsals. There were many of us lined up an hour before the recital. That night- the entire front row was empty and the back corner was mostly empty. He has no basis or grounds to slam Jennifer personally and her business for his own negligence! The emails were very clear about when and where to buy tickets and they kept strict records about how many tickets were sold and given out. We all enjoy the recitals because of all the hard work and personal time Jennifer puts into them. So if you’re smart you’ll join Jennifer’s Academy for her incredible ethics, honesty, and the dance technique!!!

Premier dance Academy has been my Home for the past 11 years. I’ve made so many amazing memories here and have learned not only dance lessons but life lessons too. It’s a wonderful studio that helps you feel important and confident in your self. The faculty are absolutely amazing and so talented at teaching and give individual attention and care to each student. I had the wonderful opportunity to dance on the Ensemble Dance Company for the past 10 years and I have loved every minute of it. The studio is so professional and has the perfect balance of hard work and fun. The end of year recitals always turn out beautifully and are so much fun to watch and be a part of. Definitely recommend to any aspiring dancer! 💕

My daughter has been attending Premier Dance Academy for over 5 years now. She has been dancing for 10 years. She absolutely LOVES PDA. Switching to Jennifer's studio has been the best decision I have made for her. I have seen her grow and flourish under Jennifer's instruction not only in dance, but as a person. Ok... so first off my daughter really liked her experience at this dance studio... BUT I'm the paying party and I'm not that impressed. I really wish I could just look at it all through my daughters eyes but again NOPE...
So we get to the end of the year and everything is good in fact nobody even hit my car in that ridiculous parking lot at the studio...... score right.. so it's time for the big performance and it's time to buy tickets well my 8.5 month pregnant wife buys 5 tickets at 15 dollars a piece just so we have some but not knowing the exact count yet. Well 2 days later we get an email saying HURRY they are selling out... So we buy 5 more. That's 10 at 15 a piece so 150 right... we show up 5 mins after the the show starts but hey we have tickets so we are good right? Hell no she oversold that venue by 45 to 60 that's how many of us stood at the top for almost 2 hrs.. remember that 8.5 month prego wife who was reassured there was room.. nope she is standing on and all the grandparents after working all day and making time for the play...

So that realllllllly sucked.. but we figure hey let's ask why it happened.. we are told to come back today it we I'll be better...

Yeah let's reschedule everyone because you either can't count or your too greedy my guess is the latter.

Oh yeah if you show pictures of a trip.... how about you show some pictures without you taking a selfie in them.... we are not paying to see you......
And honestly I tried to say something about how I felt but we were around other parents and she wouldn't let me finish a sentence.... and it seems to me that I'm paying you should listen to my issue..

Again my daughter had fun.... but my family did not

Danced here for 3 years and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I started dance late at 15 years old but never once felt like I wasn’t good enough or like I couldn't catch up. I would absolutely recommend taking classes here for dancers who are hesitant about starting out later. Instruction at the studio is personalized to each dancer and every teacher there goes out of their way to make sure all their dancers feel confident. Jen’s recitals are also AMAZING. Not only was dancing with JHPDA fun, but it gave me confidence and experience that I’m positive I couldn’t have found at any other studio ❤️
