Rise4 is a training facility and fitness community. Our mission is to take the guesswork out of how your body should function. At Rise4, we ensure your foundation is set for healthy and consistent progressions without any setbacks. Understanding your movement patterns allows us the ability to curate a plan specifically for your body’s needs, correcting any imbalances to prevent injury while ensuring proper rest and recovery. Ultimately, we want you to become the best version of yourself so you can live a long, pain-free life doing the things you love.

I can’t say enough great things about this gym. It’s not some kitschy HIIT class that has you jumping around for no reason- these are incredibly well-designed classes based off experience and highly educated instructors. This environment is perfect for beginner, intermediate, and advanced attendees. My favorite in SLC.

Rise4 has been my go to spot for workout classes since moving to SLC from SoCal. The classes are amazing, the coaches are electric, and the member community is awesome! I’ve been loving the Hyrox training style classes on Mondays. I would recommend anyone to this gym who is looking to push themselves, learn techniques from coaches, or is looking to meet like minded health and fitness people.

This gym is magic! Showing up consistently and eating more protein yields massive results. The coaches are super skilled and knowledgeable, and the workouts are really fun and challenging. Great community as well. Only good things to say; highly recommend!

Stop looking for other gyms, and go here now! I was in town for work looking for a place to drop in and found Rise4. Megan met me enthusiastically and kindly, and the gym staff was super nice and friendly. Sam, the trainer, asked me genuine questions and provided solid recommendations for local food spots. Truly worthy of 5 stars. I’ve had the genuine joy of doing 100+ classes over the last year at R4 and during that time have experienced a very real, kind, and fun community. The instructors really know how to create a welcoming, celebratory environment, how to coach, how to ensure safety, and maximize results. Honestly I am so so happy with how I feel and how much my strength, mobility, and stability have improved this year. I feel younger! I can’t recommend this gym highly enough.

I was in town for a few days for a short visit, wanted a change than working out at the hotel gym.
Loved the workout! Just what I was looking in terms of challenge and fun. The trainer Sam made sure everyone had the right form. Rise 4 has the right method for a long term overall fitness fit for all ages in comparison to some other big name gyms out there.

Rise4 is truly the most comprehensive functional training gym I’ve ever attended. The programming is top-tier, and the attention to detail is outstanding.
I’ve primarily attended classes with Sam and Jameson, and the training I’ve received from them has been phenomenal. I’ve been going to Rise4 for a few months now and I can’t recommend it enough! Whether you're looking for strength classes, personal training, physical therapy, or nutrition guidance Rise4 has it all.
The strength classes are well-structured, challenging, and always motivating. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and make sure you’re using the right form while pushing you to reach your full potential. There is enough variation from day to day to keep it interesting and fun, but continuity on a weekly basis to grow strength. The gym is equipped with a wide variety of equipment including landmines, ropes and sleds to add to variation. The programming of the classes ensure that you get full body workout. The gym and equipment is always very clean. The atmosphere is always very welcoming and positive.
In addition to regularly attending the group fitness classes, I’ve been working with Shannon for physical therapy for over a year now to recover from an injury. Shannon is truly dedicated to the health and recovery of her clients. It is clear that she genuinely cares about her patients' well-being and is deeply committed to helping them achieve long-term results. Her knowledge and skill in physical therapy are excellent. I always feel confident in her care and recommendations. Shannon integrates different modalities into her therapy sessions including hands-on manipulation, therapeutic exercises, and stretching. In addition to being an expert in her field, Shannon has an amazing attitude and positive energy. She creates a comfortable, encouraging environment where I feel supported through the ups and downs of a long recovery.

By far the best overall gym/fitness experience I've had. Once you walk in the doors, the staff are there to get to know you and find out about where you are on your own journey. Even in larger classes, the trainers do a masterful job of ensuring each member is getting the most out of their individual workouts. I’ve been going consistently for the past 3/4 months and I love it! I’ve always been athletic but inconsistent. thanks to the amazing staff and community I’ve been consistently working out for the first time in my life. I never get bored of the workouts and the progression of each day gives me a full body workout without plateau. What I love most about RISE is the community and welcoming, free-of-judgment culture it has. People from all ages and backgrounds all come together to workout with the common goal—health as a lifestyle. The staff are top notch and I appreciate the personal attention they give to each member especially with using good form to prevent injury. My new found strength has also allowed me to ski this year without the usual pain I’ve had in the past and I’m excited to see how it improves my cycling this summer. I am so grateful I found this gym!

Some group fitness classes will motivate you to go harder, go faster, lift heavier, push yourself to hit those points, get that high score, or burn the most possible calories. Then there's Rise4. Here, you're going to learn the value of the movement - how to feel it, and how to get the most out of it. Maybe you'll need to go down in weight...or *gasp* slow it down. It might be a shock to the system. You might think you're not getting as much from these workouts as those wild HIIT classes you're used to, but I promise you, you are. And your knees are going to love you for it.

I highly recommend Rise4! The workouts are functional and diverse including everything from strength, cardio, mobility, stability, and active recovery. The schedule promotes more balance, by offering a few lower intensity classes, than a lot of comparable gyms that only provide high intensity workouts. Every day of the week has a different workout that gets repeated for 6 weeks. This makes it easy to see tangible progress if you attend consistently. The people at Rise4 are great too! The coaches are very knowledgeable and provide a lot of support and feedback on form. The staff are friendly and welcoming. There is also a strong emphasis on cultivating a community as they host events outside of the gym and engage members in supporting charities.

This place is GREAT! The coaches are individually and collectively professional, friendly and knowledgeable. There is NO encouragement to push yourself too much, and I haven’t seen or heard of anyone getting injured in the two months I’ve been regularly attending, which is why I’ve delayed joining a gym like this. I have never done this type of class before. They are great about correcting your form so you don't hurt yourself. They put a lot of emphasis on doing the exercise correctly, not quickly or too much weight. They have a great core of support and I am looking forward to going back for more.

As an early ‘riser’ I love working out here in the mornings! The staff are friendly and most importantly they take the time to make sure you’re performing the movements correctly. If you do find yourself with an injury, there is a physical therapist on staff to help get you back on your feet. Also, the recovery room is awesome for taking extra time to stretch and chat with others (psst…this is where the magic happens!)

Rise 4 is a gym with workouts specifically designed to give you a full body workout while increasing your strength and fitness in a way that doesn’t just build muscles but also optimized joint mobility and range of motion which is so important for being able to maintain fitness and quality of life in any phase of life whether you’re an athlete or you’re new to working out and trying to improve your health. I love coming to Rise4 in the mornings! Mondays are the best and the worse. You get such an amazing workout to jump start your week. With goals that motivate and push you out of your comfort zone. On strength days it is so nice to slow things down and really focus on the movements you are doing. I love how every day of the week there is a different focus and they tell you what the goals are. It is also so nice to come and not need to plan out the workout the screens guide you and a coach is always there to check your form or push you since they really get to know you. Having Rise4 as a part of my routine has been so nice and I highly recommend you try it out!

Rise4 is truly a step above all other gyms and Sam Stephens is an exceptional personal trainer who I cannot recommend highly enough. He is one of the most committed, passionate, knowledgeable, and experienced trainers I have ever worked with. I first met Sam during one of his classes at Rise4. I was struggling in class and he kindly and gently coached me through that class. After class we discussed some of my limitations and struggles I had been having with my shoulder since having surgery. I decided to try some one on one personal training sessions with Sam to address my shoulder problems with the hope of gaining just a little more mobility and strength. After my first session with him I could tell he was very different from any other trainer I had worked with in the past. He genuinely cared about trying to help me achieve my goals and was incredibly insightful in his assessment of my limitations and how to address these. Every session that I did with him was thoughtfully planned, fun, and he always motivated and pushed me in just the right ways; but, he also understood and acknowledged my fears and limitations and never pushed me past a point that I could not handle. One of the things that I greatly appreciated about Sam was that at the start of every session he always asked me how I was feeling and on the days that I maybe was not 100% he responded to that and changed our session. In the 5 months that I worked with Sam he not only helped me achieve my goals but exceeded those goals. I regained mobility and strength in my shoulder, something I had lost for the last 15 years and thought I would never get back. In addition, he helped me gain full body strength and confidence in my shoulder again. I have never felt better in my life and I am now playing tennis at a higher level than I ever have. Sam truly is superb and far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Sam for any one looking to improve their fitness with an extremely dedicated, knowledgeable, and experienced trainer.

The team at Rise4 has been intentional in creating an environment to meet anyone where they're at, create a picture of their overall health, immerse them in a progressive group fitness class to build strength and mobility, surround them with like-minded and encouraging people while coaching on form to prevent injury, then inviting them to use tools on site that promote recovery, so the wash, rinse, repeat becomes easier and results are more rapidly seen.
Every day the focus changes, and every six weeks the individual stations change, so when you start to plateau, everything changes, so your body, mind, and energy are continually challenged.

Personal training, nutritional coaching and physical therapy are all thoughtfully integrated with a profound philosophy to elevate the health and wellness of the community. The best! Ownership, management and staff are experienced fitness professionals and it's obvious that they genuinely care about what they do. I mostly appreciate the focus on form. I'd rather have someone pay attention to what my knees are doing during a squat than say way to go, and at Rise-4 I get both - but form is first. I love the 6 week program structure which gives me time to work on each movement week after week and be able to gauge my progress. So many tools for assessing and recovery are available too. Well done Rise-4 team!

Rise4 is a one of a kind gym experience. They have the best in workout equipment, recovery tools and the entire space is beautiful, clean and functional. The group workouts have been carefully designed to help build or improve strength, stability, and mobility. This gym is unlike any other gym I've ever been to. While most gyms focus on "gains", Rise 4 focus is on the entire fitness process including the very important and too often overlooked, recovery element. The owners and staff genuinely care about each member and the trainers know how to push you without intimidation. I could not speak highly enough about Rise4. I almost don’t even want to call it a”gym” because it’s so much more than that. They have equipment and trainers on staff to help assess your body/movements and they coach you on how to improve. “If you’re not assessing, you’re guessing”. There is a true community feel that I feel empowers everyone to work hard and have fun doing it. The group workouts are all designed to build upon each other week after week and it’s motivating to see progress each week. The recovery equipment is state of the art and it’s been one of my favorite parts of my workout routine. The staff and coaches are all friendly, knowledgeable and are passionate about the health and wellness of every member. I absolutely love this place!! Management and staff have created a very welcoming and comfortable environment. Walking in the door feels like coming home. All of the trainers are super attentive to each one of the members offering advice and their individual expertise in so many different aspects. You have the privilege of working with a personal trainer, a nutritionist, and physical therapist, but in a group fitness environment. They truly care about each one of their clients. I leave every single class knowing that I pushed as hard as I possibly could (as safely as possible) I would recommend Rise4 to anyone at any fitness level. It’s fun! It’s clean!
