I’m a professional hockey player and I met Jackie while I was playing hockey in Salt Lake. She is the best strength coach I’ve ever had in my hockey career and during the 2 years she trained me I’ve gotten stronger and more mobile despite a hip surgery in between this 2 years. She made working out fun and she took really good care of me and all the other people she was coaching.
She has always been ready to explain why we were doing a certain type of exercise rather than another one and I loved this aspect about her.

Rock Fit Training is a hidden gem and Jackie is one of the best personal trainers you'll ever find. She also has remote options that work great, even if you're not in the SLC area. Keep reading for more details on what to expect when working with Jackie.

Jackie genuinely cares about all her clients and helping them achieve their goals. She's very accommodating and you can tell she takes the time to plan each workout and adds in modifications as needed for injuries/abilities/etc. While she definitely comes up with some tough workouts, she encourages you to listen to your body to prevent any injuries. At the same time, she's really creative with functional exercises so you won't get bored doing the same thing all the time.

She's a true expert in her field and isn't the type of trainer to get you into any gimmicky trends or obscure supplements. As a disclaimer, Jackie probably isn't the type of trainer you're looking for if you want fast and unsustainable results that usually end up with a lot of yo-yo dieting. However, if you're willing to put in the time and effort, Jackie will help you achieve your fitness goals with results that last.

Her group classes are also a great option, and her caring personality encourages a friendly environment for people of any fitness level. While I'm no longer in the area to enjoy the group classes in person, I've taken advantage of her remote options to still do her workouts. She's always open to answer any questions, and can even provide other options if you don't have certain equipment. Jackie also has video-chat personal training available if you want a little more accountability to stay active, or if you'd like her to make sure you have proper form while doing the exercises.

Jackie has been incredibly helpful in jump-starting my weight loss and strength goals. She incorporates nutrition and strength training into the overall experience of learning to make habit changes. I have lost 8 pounds in 3 months, and that is saying something because I don’t have a ton to lose in the first place. But better than that, I can practically throw my 4-year old due to the increase in strength I feel in my arms. My strength has increased from head to toe. I’ve learned a lot and appreciate her sharing new ideas for exercises and options to eat. I wish I could suck everything out of her brain and put it in mine! Instead, just work with her. She’ll teach you. She’s fantastic! I’m going to continue with her long term so I can keep making progress.

I would give her so many more stars if possible. Jackie has helped me lose 20 lbs of weight and gained such strength and confidence in my abilities while working out. All of this while dealing with a consistent back issue. She is wonderful at helping modify when it is needed and positively pushing me to do more when I can. I work out with her 4-5 days a week and I have never had the same workout twice. She keeps things interesting and exciting to come back to the gym for. Amazingly knowledgeable trainer who will get you to your goals safely, quickly and effectively, no matter where you are!

I started training with Jackie 2 1/2 years ago to build strength. After a year of bi-monthly training (my choice), my strength had increased more than 30% and my body weight was down 10%! (weight loss wasn't an initial goal, but an oh so pleasant surprise) I was so pleased with Jackie's methods and routines that I didn't stop training, even when my initial goals were met.
I have continued working out with Jackie through my first pregnancy. Here I am 8 months pregnant, still training! I feel amazing, my blood pressure is right on target and my baby is strong and healthy. Jackie has worked with me through each trimester, modifying the workouts to protect my baby while strengthening my body. I can't wait to see what she has in store for me postpartum! :)

If you're ready to see real results from a trainer who cares - COME TO ROCK FIT PT & FITNESS! Jackie is a phenomenal personal trainer and group fitness instructor. I've been training with Jackie Rock for over two years now. It has become a habit now, if I miss a session, I really feel it. As I travel extensively for work, we have found a work-around when I can't get to her studio, we Skype from where ever I am, hotel room, hotel gym, or where ever. She keeps the workouts interesting, does specific targeting of muscle groups if needed and is always coming up with great ideas on exercises.
She is a dedicated trainer and truly 100% vested in your success!!!!

I met Jackie about 7 years ago when we both started to teach Zumba. Shortly thereafter, I watched her go through the most amazing transformation. She lost weight, and built some amazing muscles and worked her butt off to get NASM certified. I totally was onboard to make some changes myself and was one of her first clients. It’s been years now and I still train with her. She helped me get into the best shape of my life for my wedding, helped me safely workout and stay strong during my pregnancy, and now is helping me currently postpartum.
