I know adult gymnastics can sound daunting but Amber is a pro! I am 53 just had a shoulder surgery last September. I am very overweight and out of shape. I took Amber‘s class yesterday. Her flexibility flow class, Amazing! So much better than yoga. I then stayed for a second class Beginning gymnastics. She was able to modify a lot of tricks for me. But she never treated me with anything but respect and encouraged me to challenge myself. Am I sore today? Hell, yes! But the good sore the pleasure pain . Just lets me know I need to go back and continue this journey. For all of you older people who didn’t think this was a possibility you should run and not walk to join this class. It’s everything we need as we age. Helps with our mobility our flexibility. Learning how to fall safely to avoid serious injuries in the future. I’m starting to wonder why I was the only person in my 50s there. I can’t say enough great things about this class… Now let me go take my ibuprofen

Wow, I’m just so shocked by how much I’m learning from Amber. I’ve been trying for years to get my handstands and literally in the 4 weeks I’ve been seeing her I’ve had so much improvement. I only wish I’d found her sooner- thank you so much girl! You are amazing!!!!!

I’ve attended Salt City Calisthenics small group classes from the beginning and I was hooked! I started with Adult Gymnastics and couldn’t believe I finally found a class like this! I have always wanted to do gymnastics since I was a kid and have looked for classes like this for adults for a long time. Amber is such a great teacher and can relate to learning gymnastics as an adult. I also attend her Gymnastics Strength Training and while it is tough, she is amazing at modifying for your level of fitness while still pushing you. As an aerialist, this has helped me gain so much strength and flexibitly while letting me playfully explore moves I never thought was possible as an adult! All classes are with an eclectic group with all kinds of fitness levels from none to experienced! Don’t wait and take a class so you can be obsessed like me!

The adult gymnastic classes are fantastic! I love that I get a good workout in while doing something fun. In just a few classes I’ve seen improvement in my handstands and other skills. I don’t have a background in gymnastics, but Amber is great at demonstrating/explaining new things. These classes have also helped with my strength in aerial classes.

Amber is amazing! When I started practicing with her, I had so many mental blocks that, even though I really wanted to do a handstand, deep down I thought I could never do it. From the beginning, she was very supportive and patient because she knew it was very scary for me. And today, I can not only do it, but I have even started practicing more advanced techniques with her! I will be forever grateful to her!!!

I was completely new to inversions when I found Amber. I had no upper body strength or flexibility, just a dream to be able to do handstands! I had not even attempted to be inverted in any form because of fear of falling and breaking something! The progress that I have made in less than 90 days is mind boggling! She is professional yet kind and friendly and really cares about her clients. If you have been wanting to do handstands, headstands or any calisthenics skills, Amber is your woman! 4-week Nutrition Plan Review:
Honestly I was intimidated. Going into the 4-week plan seemed slightly scary and overwhelming to me. What if I do it wrong, what if the meals taste horrible? Was I going to starve? (Haha! I know it seemed like an extreme thought but i was truly concerned!) I love food, but there is a difference between knowing what tastes good and what is optimal fuel for my body. Balancing nutrition is tricky, luckily having Amber in my corner made the process super easy. The meal plan is basically dummy proof. The weekly shopping list and menu lays out everything you need to know. My favorite meal was the Bacon Mac’n Cheese, it is DELISH! I was never hungry, which made it easy to stick with the program and see it through. Turns out breaking down daily calories, carbs, fat and protein doesn’t have to be scary. Thanks to the plan, trying new recipes and taking control of what I eat has never been more fun. I am so grateful for Amber and all her knowledge, she has helped me so much in my fitness and nutrition journey. She is THE BEST!

When I came to Amber about three months ago, I had a MAJOR fear being upside down and Amber totally changed the handstand game for me.
