Why are there instructors? You cannot hear a word they are saying. I asked 4 people around me if they could hear what she was saying, nobody could. When I asked if she could turn her mic up she turned the music up. I will continue with OTF where you have the benefit of an instructor you can hear.

I absolutely love Shred415! I am someone who is really motivated by instructor-lead class workouts, and Shred415 checks all the boxes. It’s so fun and I feel amazing after each session.
I book Shred415 classes through ClassPass at least twice a week. One of my favorite instructors is Annie – she’s vibrant, bubbly, and brings such great energy to every class. I especially love how she calls me out by name when I’m doing well – it keeps me motivated and feeling seen!

Best workout in town! I’ve been shredding multiple times a week for over 3 years now and am still just as fired up and challenged as the day I walked in. Started out trying Shred415 with ClassPass and was very welcomed by staff and loved the classes so much I got a membership! Such a good energy and vibe from everyone who works there and the workouts are a great switch up from just lifting in the gym or running. Can’t wait to keep shredding!

Overall, this is a decent workout, if you modify. However, most instructors are flat toned and it’s hard to hear them for cues. I’ve had several classes where there was no change in tone for the last minute of running, and the tone should match the effort level. On the weights side, most classes have you changing movements every 30 seconds, which is barely enough time to hear what the movement is, get the right weight, and start doing the exercise.

I took the butt legs and abs class on Tuesday. I was scared to do the 60 minute class since I normally do 45 minute work outs, but I was pleasantly surprised. I felt rejuvenated and pumped up. The instructor Maggie was very encouraging and her excitement kept me going. She remembered our names, she called us out when we were doing super well, and it was such a tough and rewarding class. I would love to come back and fit this into my schedule at least twice a week!

Child care! What other gym allows you to drop your kid off for an hour to get your workout in? That could be the end of the review and I’d give 5 stars. But the workouts are really balanced and challenging and the staff are some of the nicest and most welcoming people I’ve ever met. The hardest thing about starting a new gym or fitness program is the feeling that most places give off that everyone is in a club and you don’t belong. It’s the opposite there. They went above and beyond to make me feel they’d been waiting their whole lives for me to walk through the door. They were clearly so focused on making sure that everyone feels like family. If you’ve ever struggled to feel like you belong at a gym, go here and let your worries go. You will not regret it.

Recently moved to the MillCreek area and live within walking distance of Shred415. Tried my first class about a week ago and immediately became obsessed. The workouts are killer and always leave you feeling sore and accomplished. The class instructors are all amazing and keep the energy high the whole time. Josie and Meg are the best owners you’ll ever meet and want nothing but the best for their customers. Highly recommend stopping by for a free first class, you’ll be addicted from there on out.

I absolutely love Shred415!! I swam competitively, have run marathons and mountain bike regularly, but Shred415 was the game changer for me. I signed up for a membership soon after having my first kid, and can honestly say it put me in the best shape of my life!
It has enabled me to do all of the things I love really well without leaving me exhausted. I signed up for my first marathon post kid and due to the new responsibilities of caring for a newborn, 98% of my training came from Shred415. Shockingly, I PR'd by more than 30 minutes and came 5 minutes away from qualifying for Boston! I 100% credit that accomplishment to the interval training Shred415 provided me with.

I have tried several gyms in SLC and Shred415 tops them all! The workout and format of the class are effective and the perfect mix of cardio and strength. Since becoming a member at Shred my running, strength, and overall fitness have immensely improved. Not only is Shred one of the most effective workouts in Salt Lake but the class are super fun, high energy, and fly by. The instructors are motivating while still providing coaching and instruction. Best 60 minute workout! Their Treadmills are amazing and the class instruction makes it seem like class flies by. The Shred team here is awesome, great coaches and super friendly front desk. They make you feel like you are part of the family when you walk in, and childcare is a game changer! The only gym around that my wife and I can workout together.

Have you ever wondered if you could hit the gym during Covid? Or maybe shred the #covid20? Well this is THE GYM to do it!! My daughter in law invited me- I was nervous (50 surgeries- half-titanium here folks!) told the instructor, Brock #AMAZING and there’s modifications- upbeat music- fast pace- high energy and fantastic stretching and cardio-
Very Covid conscious- you have your own “station” and prices are similar to a monthly membership at Pilates or any other results targeted gym- easy to access- just off 80 and 1300 E- haven’t felt this good in a long time body/energy wise!! Check it out!! There’s even an APP for easy scheduling and class lists!!

Shred415 Millcreek treats you like family! It is such an encouraging, fun atmosphere to exercise in. From the moment you walk in the door they greet you by name and are happy to see you. They have the best customer service! The workout always leaves me breathless but feeling stronger. The coaches are both kind and motivating. I've been going for a month now and I can really see a difference in my physical and mental health. Although COVID-19 pandemic and quarantines have been difficult this year, Shred415 does a great job with cleanliness and sanitization of their space. They keep us spaced out from each other as we workout so there's no need to share equipment or germs. I would highly recommend you come check them out. You can get signed up for a free class. You're going to love it!

My favorite workout in Salt lake. They have done a great job keeping us safe during our workouts during Covid. They go the extra mile to keep the equipment sanitized and extra clean. We are safely distanced during our workouts. I have been excited to be able to workout with them during this stressful time! the front desk staff is extra helpful and always takes my temperature. SHRED415 is hands down the best gym in Salt Lake! If you are hesitating to sign up for you first class, take this as a sign and JUST DO IT! Friendly front door staff, encouraging instructors that push you to the limit BUT also teach you to listen to you body and offer modifications. Christopher, Courtney, Brock, Gianna and the whole team create such a positive and fun atmosphere!
Shred is also going above and beyond to keep their clients and staff SAFE from Covid-19 and to keep their studio CLEAN•• Temperature checks before entering , masks in all common areas, deep cleaning the studio between every class, professional cleaning/ sanitizing, reduced class size, etc.

Shred415 Millcreek has been amazing these last few months in providing a SAFE & CLEAN place to workout. It has helped to feel a bit normal during this pandemic. The studio staff, instructors and owners have been amazing. And after months they have not let up. They clean and re-clean the studio after class and have it professionally cleaned too. I tried Shred415 in Millcreek having never experienced a HIIT workout and not knowing whether it would be the right studio for me. More than a year later, I have nothing but positive things to say about Shred415 and its great community. The workout itself is amazing —and whether you are starting from scratch in your fitness journey or are an experienced athlete looking to add this class into your fitness routine, there is a place for you at Shred415. The trainers are motivating and skilled at demonstrating each interval for those who are new to strength and need guidance on form. The four 15-minute intervals bring variety to the workout each week, and the music will encourage you to keep going —along with the trainers, who all make an effort to learn your name personally and enthusiastically greet you every time you arrive at the studio. You can tell that Adria and Christopher, who own this business, care about their clients and creating a good climate for everyone there. It’s worth mentioning that this studio has the highest standards in cleaning and it’s apparent that client health and satisfaction in keeping the premises spotless are a priority by everyone at this studio. I’ve also been impressed by this business’ focus on philanthropy in occasionally hosting fundraiser classes to benefit people and/or organizations, such as the Huntsman Cancer Institute. You know you’re with good people when there’s a commitment to giving back to others. I would recommend trying Shred415 to improve your general well-being. With COVID right now it can be nerve wracking heading back to group fitness studios, but Shred really makes you feel safe. They are operating at half capacity so you never share equipment. Before class, when you enter the studio they check your temperature and have you self assess your symptoms. Then when you entered the Shred room you are required to wear your mask until you get to your machine or deck and after you have to put it on before you can leave. Also they have people leave one at a time to keep people spread out. Each workout deck has its own sanitizing spray bottle and towel so you can sanitize before or after IN ADDITION to the studio deep sanitation between classes. This I feel is a nice added comfort because if your nervous you can actually re-sanitize your weights before you pick them up (it’s calm your nerves or anything).

I am so impressed with how Shred 4/15 has worked to meet (and exceed!) COVID safety standards - temperature taking, masks, cleaning of all equipment before and after class, limited class sizes with adequate social distancing during class, etc. I feel extremely safe working out here; honestly, even before COVID I felt they already had superior cleaning standards in place! On top of this, you can attend any class, seven days a week and know that you will get an awesome trainer/coach who will challenge and inspire you, without judgment or pretension. I also love that they turn the lights down and the music up to set a really great, motivating atmosphere. And the treadmills are AMAZING, nothing compares to them! I’ve been going for about a year, 4 or 5 days a week and am so happy with the mental, emotional and physical results I’ve experienced.

I absolutely love my workouts at Shred415. It's what I've been looking for for years to diversify my workouts and keep me motivated; the 60-min classes FLY by with the class format. I love the instructors and love working out with the darker lighting so I can focus on me and my goals, with minimal distractions. The studio space is really lovely and makes me feel so spoiled with all of the little things they've thought to offer; showers, wet-clothes bags, lotion, PELLET ICE, etc.

I am obsessed with Shred415 and am so excited they've made it to Utah! They owners are just fantastic, genuine people who really care about helping their clients see results. I have been impressed with the instructors and their energy and knowledge. I am already seeing accelerated results in my wellness goals. I do really well with the interval training because I can focus on something for just 15 minutes at a time, which makes it more achievable. Also, the treadmills are SO NICE. I feel like I'm running on a cloud. So comfortable and I don't experience knee or hip pain like I do when I run outside or on normal treadmills. I also like that the room is dark and cool. Love this workout! The 15 minute intervals are perfect and the combination or weights and cardio is a phenomenal workout. Very challenging but not so difficult that I felt like I couldn’t push through. Excited to add this to my regular workout regimen!
