Hands down the best company and people!! My daughter loved every lessons she went to and every teacher she worked with and she Is the best little swimmer! The employees were always friendly and helpful, I never had an issue that wasn't addressed and they were easy and straightforward to work with. With. The most incredible swim school! The feachers are all AMAZING! Every staff member i have met has been kind, patient, and helpful. They are so individualized with each kid and their level of comfort/skill in the water. My kids learned SO much in a few months and we will definitely be back in the winter when our schedule isn't as busy. I tell everyone I know about Silver Bear. My 5 year old has been going for about a year, and my 3 year old for 3 months.

My son has always loved the water and has improved in a year to being able to jump off diving boards and being able to casually swim to the side or hangout in the deep end for a minute swimming completely on his own.

My daughter hated the water last summer. She would cling to me and wouldn’t let go, even with puddle jumpers. This summer she doesn’t want me to hold her, and will swim around for hours (still with puddle jumpers) after only taking these swim lessons for 3 months.

Everyone who works here is so helpful and kind. They’re lenient with excused absences, even when I literally just forgot to show up one day.

Shelby is amazing with my kids and would find things for them to do while their sibling was in their class. Alec works wonders with my ADHD son in class. He’s the perfect mix of fun, and pushing him to do his best. Kayla is engaging and makes up the best games to get them gigging and enjoying the water. Preslie is so patient and kind in the way she teaches and my daughter became obsessed with her.

We’ve only had good experiences here and will always recommend any kid taking swim lessons here!

My kids have been swimming with Silver Bear since they opened 3 years ago. I can't say enough good about them. The teachers are consistently competent and good with children. They are a business that truly values children. Not only do they teach them to swim, but they create a warm and welcoming environment. They have activities (coloring pages, window toys, fish tank to look at) for kids to use while they wait for their siblings. But my very favorite thing is their attention to each child. The teachers know my kid's names, and they treat them like they matter. It seems like most of the teachers know not only the children in their classes, but siblings as well. Most of the teachers there know all 4 of my children's names, and they make them feel like incredible, smart, capable, interesting people. I highly highly recommend this business!

Silver Bear is by far the best! I have a 5 year old Daughter who is in the class and we have only been to 4 classes but within that short time she has Greatly improved. we have done two trial swim classes and they don't even come close. the other classes have them with a type of floatie device and mostly had the kids blowing bubbles and playing with toys. the first class with Silver bear they had my 5 year old actually swimming and on class 4 diving under water to pick up toys which i thought would take her allot more time! let me break down why i love it.#1 My child love it and haves fun every single time. #2 she is LEARING AND IMPROVING every class! they have a hands on approach the help the kids keep there face in the water which is huge! and then do drills that are great that are hard and make the child stretch and work but not impossible and make it still FUN! #3Teacher feedback is FANTASTIC! anytime i ask a question they jump right on it and listen to my thoughts!! #4 Lastly SAFTEY (half of what sold me) they test and train the kids on what to do if they were to ever fall in water. on the second day(based on skill level on being comfortable in the water) they have the drop off into the water with no floaties and no goggles and swim up and grab the edge, this is so important and a huge reason why we will take all of our kids here. I can't say enough good things about this place. My two older kids have been coming here for a few years. The teachers are patient, knowledgeable, and kind.

Today I saw a little boy who wouldn't stay on the side of the pool and wasn't allowing his teacher to help the other kids. With a few whispered conversations among the employees, they shuffled around stations to get another swim instructor in the pool to give the boy some one on one attention. It shows the level of care these workers have for their job.

My daughters (currently 3 & 5) have been here the last few months. It has been a great experience. I have one daughter that takes to the water with ease and they have helped her quickly excel at learning more skills in the water. My other daughter is much more cautious in the water. She has been afraid trying certain skills and they have remained patient and encouraging to the point where she has overcome many of her fears. They look forward to swim each week and every teacher has been extremely kind.

This is our second swim school, we moved to this one since it was closer and I’m so glad we did! I am not a great swimmer myself and watching my girls learn this awesome skill has been such a comfort for me! Totally recommend.

We take our 24 month old to Silver Bear Swim School and she loves it!! I could barely get her to get her hair wet in baths bur after just one lesson she is laying on her back in the tub and letting me wash and dump water on her hair! She is holding her breath under water for 5 seconds and we’ve only come for 4 or 5 lessons! They do a lot of positive reinforcement so the kids feel like they are doing a great job when they are! They have so many fun toys, floaties, fins, a giant lily pad, and everything you would need to keep the kids engaged and learning. We are so thrilled with the progress of our little one and we can’t wait to see how much more she learns!

My 1 and 3 year olds have been swimming here for a few months now and we are huge fans. It’s been so helpful, they both have loved it. Curriculum is effective and the teachers are so nice!!

Classes are 30 mins, I’m in the water with my 1 year old which I know some find annoying but has been totally fine. It helps when we go out for real swimming because I know exactly how she swims and what she is capable of. My three year old hated the water at first and now is so much more confident. Would recommend for sure!

My daughter has been swimming here for 6+ months now and we love it here! I love the set-up/organization and how you can easily watch your kid swim due to the big windows that run the length of the pool. She loves the swimming and adores her instructors! We just leveled up, so she's on her 3rd instructor now and has loved them all. There is a new theme each week in the pool that makes it even more fun. We are also big fans of the fish tank and spend a few moments watching the various fish, starfish, and eels do their thing before leaving each week.

Parents get an update on how their swimmer is doing at the end of each lesson, so you always feel well-informed and involved. So far there have been 2-3 kids in her classes, though there can be up to 4. Summer might bring the 4:1 ratio... But hopefully we'll make it to more family swim days!

One last thing worth mentioning is that make-up lessons have been super easy to schedule. It always feels well-organized :).

We’ve been really impressed with Silver Bear. The teachers really care about the students, as does the rest of the staff. There’s a big emphasis on safety swimming. Kids do also learn the strokes though once they pass off their safety techniques. My daughter loves coming here. We have been coming to Silver bear for two sessions. My 2 year old daughter has made a tremendous improvement. The baby classes are awesome. I love the teacher-student ratio. The teacher is patient and amazing. She really takes the time with each kid. She is also very knowledgeable and understands that every kid is different. Silver Bear Swim school is incredible. My 5 year old was able to learn to swim so quickly and is now working on her freestyle stroke. She loves swim lesson days. I, also, appreciate that their curriculum includes water safety. They prepare and teach the children how to be safe around water and what to do if they accidentally fall in. My daughter has been swimming here since it opened and it has been a blast!!

The setup is really well done, the parents have a large windowed area to watch their child swim.

The class sizes are never larger than 4 per teacher and each child gets specialized attention for their needs.

What I've been most impressed is how they structured to classes to motivate the kids. When they level up they get to ring a bell and everyone cheers. That is for the big moves, the smaller ones or the mastering of a skill gets you a ribbon. My daughter loves the ribbons!

The staff is all very kind and helpful, bathrooms are always clean, and they have an exotic fish tank that's really fun to look at.

We LOVE Silver Bear Swim School. All of my girls have either learned how to swim, or picked up the swim strokes very quickly. Every teacher we have had had been great at teaching and seeing the individual needs of my children. The front desk is very helpful and has always helped when I have a question. The teachers are amazing and the curriculum is great. The facility and pool are amazing except for the bathroom/changing area setup. The floors are a polished concrete floor and are extremely slippery when wet. I have had my kids fall several times and one fall resulted in a trip to urgent care for staples in her head.

My daughter has loved her lessons here. The teachers are attentive and they work to maintain small class sizes so students practice taking turns, but all get good time in the water every lesson. My favorite aspect though has been the family Swim time on weekends which allows all of us to practice swimming with her. We are excited for safer summers at the lake as she masters her swim skills!

Silver Bear has been great so far. We’ve been going for about a year at this point, and our child has learned a lot. The curriculum seems well thought out and works very well. The staff have been great as well, definitely one of the best parts about the school. It’s a little pricey when you consider the time each child gets, but you do get good results.

We have been coming to Silver Bear since it opened with 3 kids. They are accommodating, professional and kid-friendly. I had my youngest scream and yell the whole first class and they took him and helped him get through his fears and within a couple weeks he was going to class with a smile on his face. I had to take a minute out of my busy day to review this swim school. I am blown away at how well this program runs. The facitlity is clean, the instructors and front desk workers are friendly and professional and they do an AH-MAZING job keeping the lessons creative and exciting for the kids. As a previous coach and teacher myself, it takes a lot to impress me with kids programs. My daughter just started, and she always looks forward to her practices. If the other reviews haven’t convinced you of the all-around excellence this swim school exhibits, I’ll add my own raving review to the mix! My daughter has been taking lessons here since it opened, and she has grown to be an incredibly strong, independent swimmer at four years old! She has LOVED both of her teachers (Mindy and Ashlen), and all of the other staff knows her name and always makes her feel welcome. Everyone is exceptionally kind and understanding. My youngest is just starting in their Baby Bear class and I’ve already been impressed with the skills they are teaching at such a young age. We are so lucky to have found this school! 5/5 stars for Silver Bear!

We just join sliver bear for our 3-year-old and we are very impressed with the place and staffs. The facility is very clean and organized. Tynette is very welcoming. She greeted us and showed us around the facility. Devon came introduced himself while we were watching the class. He shared a lot of their teaching philosophy and answered a lot of our newcomer's questions. I am also pleased that there are always someone by the pool watching, so it feels safe even if instructor is with multiple kids in a small group class setting.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! All three of my kids have just excelled and thrived in their classes. My son who has had a couple of seasons of lessons who still couldn’t be trusted by himself moved up so quickly and learned how to be comfortable in the water but also safe and knowing his own limits. My youngest who couldn’t swim at all by herself has moved up quickly and has been able to swim on her own and get to the side and be safe on her own as well. Love love love this place!!!

We have been coming to Silver Bear Swim School for a little over a year. My son started in the baby bear class (mommy and me), and just turned 3 and moved up to panda bear class. We have absolutely loved our experiences here. We LOVE Silver Bear! I have a very timid 3 year old boy that started at 2.5 years. Mindy in baby bear was exceptional at helping him become more comfortable in the water. When he aged out of the class, he struggled wanting to come to swim because he had a new teacher and learning the new skills was harder. But AJ and Ella did a wonderful job matching my son with someone that jives well with his personality and customizing his program to fit his needs. Mr. David has been so patient with my son and he loves to come to swim now. Every time he gets out of the pool he says, “mom, I had sooooo much fun!” I would 1,000% recommend this swim school to anyone!

Great experience so far! I love semi private lessons. They get lots of attention from their swim instructors and also get to watch other kids trying and succeeding too. My kids (my daughter especially) have had a ton of anxiety about swimming. We started last fall, and by March, she was excited to be there and show up every week. They have been so patient and helped her with skills to manage her fear as well as the tools to swim well. They never once forced her into anything she was too scared to do or to “jump in the deep end and figure it out.” Which was of HUGE importance to me. I am normally a cheapskate so the price was scary initially. But I won’t take my kids anywhere else.

My kids have been attending for about nine months and I can’t believe the progress they have made. We have done swimming lessons in the past and this place is way above the rest. One of my kids (11) hates swimming, lacks coordination, doesn’t see the point in learning the strokes they work with him and he has a great time and has improved so much. Silver Bear is the third swim school I’ve had my kids in over the past 4 years and it’s by far the best experience we’ve had. I appreciate that there’s a focus on water safety AND becoming a strong, competitive swimmer. We are coming to Silver Bear since the opening. I have a 2.5 years old boy ,he is just obsessed with water. I don't have and never had any complaints all this time.
