The gym and locker rooms are clean. All of the equipment works (that's a compliment) Staff (Tim, Aiden) are helpful and cheerful and listen and then act on reasonable requests.

As a daily gym-goer, I’ve been impressed by the cleanliness and functionality of this gym. It should be noted that most of the lower star ratings are old and within the last year, this gym is in a brand new space, with all new equipment and much bigger than the previous space. The amenities are much different and all better than before.

Very satisfied with this place. Machines are all new so everything works as expected. Open as early
Or late as you need
Staff constantly cleaning and making sure cleaning wipes are stocked. Staff is friendly. Not to full from what I experienced.
Would recommend if you don’t mind the price tag then this is a great gym.

The gym is nice considering all of the equipment is new and it has everything you need to get a great workout in. However, at $55.00 a month I think the AC can be turned to a cooler setting… Early morning around 6:00 AM is fine but on the weekends I go around noon and it is so hot in there. The second you walk through the door you feel how hot it is in there. It is just starting to warm up so I hope it doesn’t get worse as the summer kicks off.

They changed the price from 30$ to 45$ without my knowledge. I got charged additional 35$ this April, not sure why (perhaps annual fee). Also they require a months notice (send it in writing) to cancel your policy despite paying forward for next month upon starting. Oh, and don't bother trying to contact their phone as the mailbox is full and there was nobody there on Sunday to help with membership stuff.

Super happy with this gym, and the owner and staff are friendly. The equipment is new as of 2025, and there is never too much of a crowd. The gym-goers are helpful and encouraging. I have been going here a few months and am never disappointed. The massage chairs and machines are some of my favorite pieces!

It's a good gym. It's a bit costly at $45, but it makes up for it by being open 24 hours.

The staff at this location are ok. Not extremely knowledgeable but friendly enough and willing to give advice. Mike Call, the owner of this location, does not care about his customers though. Mike cares more about filing his wallet by adding extra fees and increase monthly memberships regularly without notice than he does about your average gym goers. If you don't want to get charged out the wazoo, go to a different location, one that will actual see you as a person, not just a quick buck.

So I went to the grand opening and it was beautiful inside.
So I decided to join online about 2 days later. I went the next day to get my pass there was no one there. I called several times to see when someone would be there and every time no answer and the voicemail was full.
There should be someone there to pick up the phone. This just makes me rethink continuing membership since I can't even get a pass to workout

Really enjoyed the location of the old gym. The new gym isn’t bad but has a fairly significant echo. New equipment is a plus.

I was also surprised with the additional $30 that was charged in January (and all months moving forward I assume) because of the new gym. No notice was given or shared which does cause issues with budgets. I’m evaluating if I can continue to attend this gym or if I will need to look elsewhere because of this.

I’m Not really sure the new gym was needed as the other location worked well and was great for the cost. I really struggle to believe that the additional $30 is worth being able to go to a new building.

I have worked out at SNAP for a few years now and have really enjoyed the location, equipment, and team. The patrons are great and there has always been a wide variety of people working out. I have been able to work out a couple times at the brand new location and wow, it takes it to the next level. The new equipment is fantastic. I am a runner and the smart treadmills are great for tracking my runs. The sports area is a great addition for kettlebells and the new sleds. At the end of my workout nothing is better than hitting the recovery room for a massage or cryo cooldown. Great local gym and couldn’t recommend more.

I have been at this gym for years now. I was extremely shocked when I was charged yesterday and it was an additional 30 dollars on my bill. When i went to the gym this morning i read every sign that was up thinking there was something I must of missed, the only notes i seen was for additional classes I could join. I then called the gym this morning to be informed the gym is moving Saturday will be the last day the gym i go to will be open and because its a new gym that is why the memberships went up. I informed the gentleman I was speaking to that I never got any notifications of this at all. He apologized and said he was aware that there was nothing sent out to the customers and that he was willing to cancel my membership and give me a refund. Really sucks that I lost that trust with this gym as I have been here for at least 5 years possibly more and out of nowhere there was massive lack of communication. Now I have to look for a different gym with no notice. (the gentleman did state it isn't that far they are moving. It is far to me as you are 2.2 miles from my house already and now it is 3.6 when vasa is only 2 and cheaper then the 40 I was never made aware I would be paying). I would of possibly been more understanding if the communication aspect would of been there.

I can't speak highly enough about my experience. The staff is amazing too. Everyone is friendly, welcoming and genuinely passionate about fitness. The trainers are incredibly knowledgeable and take the time to get to know you and your goals. I have worked with a trainer here, and the personalized attention and tailored workouts have made such a difference in my progress.
What really set them apart, though, is the atmosphere. It's motivating without being intimidating, and there is a sense of community here that make you feel supported. Not matter where you are on your fitness journey, you will find people of all levels who are encouraging and friendly.
Overall, I could not ask for a better gym experience. The combination of clean facilities, expert trainers, and a positive, motivating environment makes this gym an absolute winner.

I really enjoy this gym! I joined this year. It looks small from the outside but it actually is pretty big. They have everything you need and I like that 9 times out of 10 it’s not busy. It’s set up into sections with plenty of weights and options. If you’ve been thinking about switching from some of the bigger gyms around here in Ogden, I highly recommend it. I’ve NEVER had issues with the machines, don’t have to wait for someone to stop scrolling on their phone for a machine/spot, and always can get the weights I want. Plus there’s always a parking spot available!

I’ve been going to this gym for about two years. It may not look like a big gym, however, it has just about all the equipment you need to have a great workout. There are cable machines, a decent selection of fee weights etc. The owners and staff are great! Since I’ve been here they have added new equipment every year and keep getting better. Plus it’s very clean has a shower and open 24/7. The nearest gym to here is a dirty hole! Don’t go there. I won’t say the name but it’s on 12th street. Lol

I have been a member since 2008. I do enjoy the fact it’s a small gym and relatively not crowded. However, over the past year or so, I repeatedly see bins of trash and dirty towels. I can’t remember the last time I was able to use a towel or even paper towels in the gym. I have
go to the bathroom to get paper towels from the dispenser to wipe down equipment. It’s warm in there so members are propping the door open to keep it comfortable. Very disappointed in a gym that been fairly reliable up until the last few years. Back in the day (about 3-4 years ago) the televisions were on, all fans were operating and towels were available. Unfortunately there is no competition in the area so we take what we can get.

Went when they had "business hours" even after calling a few times hours prior to see if I could come check it out. Not great help at all. They wanted over $25/ month for membership for the basics but I could go to planet fitness or vasa and pay $20 and get tons more features and equipment. Decided after waiting almost 15 minutes to just talk to the guy, who didn't know if they were running any seasonal promos like most gyms do, to not sign up there. Lost my business.

I was very pleased with my experience. I called due to some confusion online and spoke to Corbin. He suggested I come in for a tour and to look at pricing. We were able to set it up same week. I waited no more than 2 minutes at the door in which Corbin greeted me with a smile. I loved the small gym vibe and nice people. Highly recommend for someone who’s looking to lift and workout without having the big gym intimidation.

I normally don't like leaving reviews based on bad experiences. But unfortunately today I happened to be one of the unlucky ones. Spoke to Korbyn last week Thursday about dropping by today (8-8-2022) to check out the gym and sign up for a membership. Very friendly guy and very easy to talk to. Excited to join so we agreed to meet up in person today for a quick tour and membership. Got to the location 10 minutes early, rang the doorbell, no answer. Went back to my car with my 10 month old daughter and waited for 5 to 10 more minutes to try again. Went back to the door, rang doorbell, no answer once again. Called and no answer so I left a VM. Decided that instead of waiting around for a little longer and agreed to myself to cut my losses and head back home. Really disappointed with the service and also very bummed out since signing up to this gym was something I was really looking forward to do today. I used to go to Snap Fitness in Layton and Syracuse 6 years ago and loved both locations along with their services. Thought North Ogden would have the same service but I was wrong. From the looks of it here, it looks like people are receiving great service from this location as they should. I just wish that nobody would have to deal with what I dealt with today.

I have not used the Gym yet, however I feel compelled to review the sign up. I have NEVER had such a quick, painless, honest and straight forward signup for anything. The cost is less than every other major gym if you factor in all their scandelously hidden fees, especially if you take advantage of the BUY ONE GET ONE FREE limited time offers. They accept full year, prepay cash- no "hidden" un-mentioned fees, no sales HASSEL, no contract or early termination with prepay, just no B.S. period. I was in and out with 2 cash memberships for a year in less than 10 minutes! I payed only what I was told and nothing more there is a $10 per keycard fee. Sadly this is unheard of nowadays. Solid 5 Stars for this... I will review my experience using the gym, equipment, maintanence, crowdedness etc. when I have a good enough feel to leave an honest thorough review on them. UPDATE.. I have nothing but a positive experience with these folks. Not the biggest most cutting edge gym, but I have had no reason to look anywhere else.

I was in the area for a month or so with my girlfriend’s family looking for a place to work out in. After some searching, me and my girlfriend decided on Snap Fitness. We were not disappointed!

We stopped in at 3 for their staffed hours. Shortly after, we chatted with Gordon. Gordon is probably the friendliest gym employee I have ever met. There were some issues with the computer when he was trying to register us, but he called the owner, Mike, and he was able to set us up over the phone. We paid just $50 for a dual membership (for me and the gf) for a month and as long as we returned the keycard we wouldn’t get charged a card deposit either. Mike even gave us an extra month for free! All of the membership options, in my opinion, were extremely reasonable for a 24/7 gym.

The gym itself is pretty standard with a variety of cardio and strength equipment. There is a smaller stretch/aerobics/class room. The free weight section was also nice with dumbbells ranging up to 100. There were plenty of benchs, two squat racks, two cable machines, an inclince and standard bench press, leg press, and about a dozen machines. They were also in the process of getting a bunch of new equipment in (we were there for a new smith machine, bench, and bars). The bathrooms (one with a shower) were also very clean.

We always went around 3 during the week which was fairly quiet. We almost never had to wait to use a machine or weight. I heard the morning is there busiest hours. The other members were nice enough and wiped down there equipment after.

While not a mecha of weightlifting, it was a very respectable, affordable, and convenient gym to be a part of. Way better than any mega-chain gym you would find in any city.

Easily the best part of our experience was Gordon. Gordon made us feel welcome from day one. He always made time to chat with us when he came in, but also respected our workout time (i.e. not trying to chat us up in the middle of a set). He remembered our names (and the names of everyone else there) and things we had chatted about. He was always busy doing something: from fixing lights, cleaning up, maintaining the equipment, or just checking in. Thank you Gordon for making our experience that much better!

We absolutely will be signing up again when we come back to visit!

Every time I’m in town for more than a week, I make a point to set it up to workout at SNAP fitness. It feels like home and the members are always friendly and welcoming. The owners are always quick to communicate and easy to work with. I have big fitness goals and this gym has everything I need from varied cardio equipment to a weight rack set up and all the weights I need for big lifts. I will definitely keep going back next time I’m in town.

β˜… 1

It's a small gym compared to other gyms like Vasa. Because of the size, it means the equipment you want to use is taken a lot of the time. So be willing to switch up your workout. I did notice about half the cardio machines are broken or not completely functional. E.g. some treadmills, bikes, and stair steppers don't turn on. For the equipment that does turn on, buttons are missing or non functional on the displays. To say the least, the cardio equipment needs a huge overhaul. They remained open during Covid, but have not improved cleaning measures from before, so beware. Basically they expect everyone to clean up after themselves, which obviously doesn't always happen.

Edit: My review is already a one star, but after trying to cancel, I wish I could drop it to zero. I've had memberships to snap fitness at both Layton and Roy, and was able to cancel and reopen my memberships there at will. I was planning to cancel and gave management a heads up and they said no big and to just reach out again by the end of the month I wanted to cancel. Well I did so and they informed me they needed a formal email to cancel. That's new to me compared to the Layton & Roy locations, but I went along. Then they respond and say it's a 30 day cancellation policy from the email date, so they're going to charge me another month. Going back on your word is not cool! Definitely never coming back.

Great gym, friendly staff, and good selection of equipment. I really appreciate the friendly smile and commitment from the trainers and office staff. What I've noticed and appreciated the most is that the obnoxious typical gym rat doesn't last long here. The type of clientele here are each committed to a healthy lifestyle with individual goals and Snap Fitness allows for that flexibility without the intimidation that you might experience at other gyms. Compared to Golds Gym, this place is very limited. It's so little that unless your coming after 10 p.m. plan on a humid and crowded workout. After working out at Golds for 2.5 years, I just couldn't transition into this little enclosure. However, the young lady that runs it was very sweet and helpful to me.
