Business Description: The Bar Method Salt Lake City - Avenues is a boutique fitness studio offering barre classes for students of all levels. The signature method uses your own body weight, the ballet barre, and a few props to create a transformative workout that results in long, lean sculpted muscles. Not only does it reshape your entire body, but it allows you to channel your inner strength and leave class feeling strong, confident and poised. Highly-trained instructors customize the exercises to ensure they are safe and effective for any age and every body, including modifications for pregnant women and students with injuries. Our staff and community are here to support you from the moment you walk through the door.

LOVE this new location! The light, airy openness of the studio is refreshing. (How gorgeous are those salt walls?!) The welcoming and skilled instructors are always keeping the classes fresh by switching up the moves, while offering thoughtful corrections so you're getting the most out of your workout. Recommend 10/10!

When I walked in for my first lesson, Sam and Alex were both very attentive towards me. Sam took the time to explain everything, where everything was, and made sure I would be comfortable with Alex(my instructor) helping me out during the class. The class itself was mobile, fun, and welcoming. Alex provided options for almost every exercise we did so that we could up the challenge for ourselves or keep it light. She used our names to address us and was very encouraging and kind. I liked it and hope to return soon!

I love the Bar Method! I used to go to the studio in Sugarhouse, but switched over to the Avenues studio because it is closer to me. I love how small and intimate this new studio is. Whether you are a newbie to barre or seasoned, these classes are for you! I love the community and come out of the classes feeling empowered and ready to take on the day.

This is an ideal workout for someone looking to avoid high impact! Lots of strength, stretching, and some cardio, but thankfully no jumping or running. All the instructors learn everyone's name and it's a really welcoming place. The best part is, if you live in the Aves it's easy to get to without dealing with any traffic!

I love this place! I joined on a whim and it’s been great. My favorite class is the cardio/strength 30/30. I think I’ve sampled most of the classes and instructors and they’ve all been wonderful. So encouraging and a good focus on form for results. Thank you to this place!

I can’t express enough how awesome this workout is! I’m visiting from out of town and love barre so I thought I’d check out this Bar Method studio (which was awesome, super welcoming vibe, in an cute neighborhood, adored the ladies there so much). The class itself really kicked my butt, but it’s also accessible to beginner levels thanks to the instructors. You won’t regret going to this studio!

I’ve been a long time bar(re) fan and this studio is top notch! The location is great and the interior is the cutest, most well adorned/decorated fitness studio I’ve ever visited. In addition, the classes are great- clear instructions, challenging workouts, and positive feedback. I’ve taken two classes with different formats and love both. If you haven’t done bar(re) before, I highly recommend it. Not only does it build longer, lean muscles, but it’s also low impact, which are great for problematic joints. Finally, a shout out to Alex, who is a superb instructor. I can’t wait to try more classes!
