I love this place! Not only are the people wonderful but the process and the exercises that they have you do are absolutely fantastic. This is the first time in my life that I have spent so little time and come away with such good feeling muscles - you know - you can tell you’ve worked out but no big pain. I joined up with The Exercise Coach in July. I love it. The workouts might be only 20 minutes but you are working at your hardest for the entire time. How do you know it’s at your hardest? The machines record your output each time and measures it against all of your previous workouts. There’s no way to cheat or slack off.
The staff are wonderful. This place has a really happy and caring vibe.

I’m 61 years old. I’ve got a lot of problems physically because my muscles have become weaker. I have always worked in administrative type jobs and have not really been proactive like I should’ve been with muscle building and retention and now I’m paying for it, however, these folks over at the Exercise Coach, in Sandy, Utah, Seriously care about your health and well-being and know how to help you build muscle without self injuring, like I’ve done time and time and time again trying to do it by myself. If anyone out there is like me, and you wanna have an opportunity to get feeling better And possibly hang your cane up on the wall and not use it. I recommend checking these folks out. The price is very affordable for me being on a hourly income. It can be that way for you too if it becomes a priority. Check these folks out seriously!

The Exercise Coach in Sandy is a great place to start a strength training program. The facility is clean and welcoming. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They are very supportive and well informed. It doesn’t feel at all like a typical gym. No judging; just great help and training. Love working out at this gym. Was pushed pretty hard at physical therapy yesterday so came in with quite a bit of back pain. But I’m leaving with less pain after my workout.
This is the longest I’ve worked out at a gym without hurting myself. The machines are so supportive of the back and the trainers are very accommodating for certain exercises I can’t do in the rotation. As well as very attentive to my injuries and needs.

The most valuable 20 mins of fitness training you can get. This isn't just an amazing set of weight machines that comprehensively track your progress and challenge you to increase at just the right level. It's MOST IMPORTANTLY trained fitness coaches who are alongside you at all times to explain and check your form. Every session is efficient and powerful. I'm so much stronger. The Exercise Coach I didn't think it could get any better. I have been with this program now for almost two and a half years. I walk out of each class knowing that what I am doing is just right for my body at my age.
The advice that I get from my coach is so informative and valuable she has helped me in so many ways. She noticed that I was having some pain in my hand with some adjustments she has made it so I can push through and still have an effective workout. I needed to do strength training along with my aerobics. A good friend took me with her to Exercise Coach, and I have been doing their program since the middle of December. I have a friend and son who have had shoulder surgery because of damage caused by weight lifting in the gym. Other friends spend hours each week in the gym, for strength training, others do strengthening from online sources at home. What I love about Exercise Coach is the good workout I get after 2- twenty minute classes a week. I have tried doing things at home but find it so hard to make myself do the programs that I have found. When I have an appointment, I then have a commitment that I can keep.

At Exercise Coach, all muscles are challenged. This helps keep the joints healthy. My shoulders and knees no longer hurt because each muscle moving a joint has been equally strengthened. My leg presses are now over 300 lbs., my arms are moving over 200 lbs., and my abs are moving around 140 lbs. Each area is about 50% stronger then when I started.

All muscles are being challenged, and movement is carefully guarded to insure no muscle damage. The team is knowledgeable, friendly, encouraging, and just fun to be around. Another great benefit, since I am on Medicare my insurance helps pay pay the bill. What a great way to start off a New Year.

I never really loved going to gyms (they were always too noisy, too smelly, too crowded, etc.) But here I actually look forward to coming to The Exercise Coach studio for my personal training sessions because it’s quiet and clean, but most importantly they have workouts on digitalized equipment which chart your progress. This is such a great program and I'm so glad I found it! Since joining, I've built muscle strength and increased my stability quite a bit. The staff is so knowledgeable and professional and easy to work with. I've had a couple of injuries and they've worked with me to make modifications to provide me with a safe workout that's still really effective. They send emails with exercise resources and recipes and other information and are always checking in to see how they can help me achieve my goals. Perfect for those who don't enjoy the gym scene. The Exercise Coach is very focused. You're in and out in under a half hour. In spite of that, you don't feel rushed and the 1-on-1 attention by the staff to the client's form and workout experience is impeccable. It might not seem like a long workout, but the exercises are so focused that you'll be glad when the session is over. The ability to receive constant and immediate visual feedback from the machines is fantastic, as is the ability to see your progress over time on each exercise through their mobile app .

I came in to increase my strength as I’m getting older, so that I can continue to do all of the activities that I want to. My back and knees don’t hurt anymore. I can play pickle ball easily. I can hike without pain. I went skiing. and was stronger than my friends even though I hadn’t been mountain biking or doing anything to keep my legs strong all year. I started The Exercise Coach last August 2022. My wife went to the free sessions and I begrudgingly signed up to check it out, too. I hate exercising in a gym setting, but the Exercise Coach approach changes this. Set within an office space with just a few pieces of equipment and normal people like me, I have never been uncomfortable during my workouts. An added benefit is that I'm only ever working out with a max of 3 other people, giving me the feel of a personal workout with kind coaches who watch my form to ensure I'm doing the routine correctly. Also, no 3 or 4 day per week routines...20 minutes twice weekly on their proprietary equipment has allowed me to see a 17% gain in skeletal muscle mass in only 8 months. Additionally, I made changes to my diet simultaneously, taking me from a BMI of 34.5 to 28.2, although it is worth noting that this is not a workout for weight loss, but strength. My joints no longer crackle, I have endurance I didn't have before, and I generally just feel better. I'm know that I'm healthier at age 52 than I was at 22 and all of my numbers prove it. If you care about your health, you won't regret getting started, but you will regret delaying.

Some of the biggest reasons why I love working out at The Exercise Coach are:
1. The quality of the workout is such that whole body results can be accomplished in a short amount of time (which makes it easier to fit into a busy schedule and harder to justify skipping a workout).

EXERCISE COACH IS SIMPLY THE BEST - There is not a better training program out there! The equipment and technology at Exercise Coach are SUPERIOR. At Exercise Coach, you workout in a small class environment with workout settings that are personalized to you. This allows your workout to be done in just 20 minutes. The overall changes in my strength and muscle tone came quickly. The “personal best” tracking in the workout machine technology provides all the motivation you need to continue to improve and grow your strength. All of the staff and coaches at Exercise Coach are very knowledgeable and create such a welcoming, fun environment to workout in. You often hear about how crucial weight resistance training is, but it can be so intimidating in a traditional gym setting. Exercise Coach lays it all out for you and allows a novice to learn all the mechanics of proper weight training. Safe to say, I will never return to a regular gym! My 63 year old mother and I attend Exercise Coach together and because the workout is so customizable and the weight settings adjust, it allows for the right workout for both of us. I cannot recommend Exercise Coach enough! If you’re looking for a workout program that you will enjoy, that also provides fast, and lasting results for your health, Exercise Coach is right for you.

Great personal trainers that know the equipment, and are there to help you achieve your goals. The owner, Jenn is also trained as a personal trainer, and is there to help you in the same way. I love the resistance exercise equipment, because you get a total body workout. Ver nice atmosphere. I also like the 20 minute workouts, you’re in and out, and your time isn’t wasted trying to figure out the machines.

I love this place for so many different reasons. The staff is kind and motivational. The amazing owner, Jenn and her staff at The Exercise Coach are very knowledgeable and great to work with. The workouts are easy to work into my schedule as I am in and out in no time.
