Love it here very much, been bringing my daughter Evee here for almost 2 years. And we love the staff here too. Both the coaches are great and friendly to me and my daughter, definitely recommend it for younger kids, they have a blast!!

We wished to cancel our membership. We confirmed 4 times over the course of a month that we were indeed cancelled. We were informed twice in person and twice over the phone that we were cancelled. They charged us again. When we called once more to inquire why we would be charged an additional month after being told we were cancelled, they denied every possibility that any employee would say that.

They confirmed they had sent us a cancellation form to the wrong email, but in the next breath stated they had no ability to confirm if/when we requested to cancel. They also confirmed we had two profiles, one active and one not, which could lead an employee to tell us the cancellation was successful. But then again repeated no employee would ever tell us we were cancelled. We gave them the name of the employee, the date, and the phone record showing we spoke to them. Again, they stated there was no possibility we could have been told we were cancelled by their employee.

After repeated attempts, the manager finally confirmed we were cancelled. But naturally, they couldn’t return the funds they just withdrew. Instead of a refund, they offered to “allow” us to take the 4 classes we just involuntarily purchased.

How many times does it take a customer checking and being told they successfully cancelled a membership before it becomes a laughable amount of effort. Apparently not four.

Go elsewhere.

Edit: Normally I would never get in a debate with a company in a public way like this but this owner appears to use lying and reframing as a business practice. I believe this type of behavior is unethical and therefore will include the below details for future customers to review and make their own determination.

1. As mentioned, we spoke to Morgan on 12/16/24 and the receptionist on shift at 10:00 am 01/12/25 and 01/19/25.
2. We requested to cancel the first time 12/16/24 over the phone at 10:16 am. We confirmed it was done on 01/12/25 and 01/16/25 in person at 10:00 am.
3. Our last class taken was 01/19/25. We were charged for the next month on 01/23/25 which paid through 02/23/25. We have not taken a single class since 01/19/25. We asked for refund for the billing cycle from 01/23/24-02/23/25 which was taken after we requested and confirmed we were cancelled.
4. The issue with our accounts was not “cleared up” as it resulted in the charge mentioned above with zero resolution for us.
5. Today, February 19, 2025 at 3:51 pm the Better Business Bureau sent us the completed review of our complaint and confirmed you were unable to respond or refute to our above listed issues. AMEX also determined fault after we provided them with receipts of the above and returned our funds to us.

To this day, there has not been an ounce of personal responsibility taken by this company or its management to own this issue.

Owners lie and are short sighted, teachers are nice, but seems short staffed.

I have been trying to cancel and received confirmation for a month and a half. They have not sent the "required form" to be able to cancel and use that as a reason to continue charging me. I was confirmed numerous times that I have cancelled and will not be charged the $100+ fee. I was charged, and they say there's nothing I can do about the most recent charge, except that I'm "officially canceled now," but they still have not sent me the paperwork to officially cancel. I Look forward to being billed on my next statement.

I was planning to sign my child back up when they were a bit older, I've personally recommended this facility to many who have signed up. I will never visit this establishment again and never recommend this location to anyone. I've hear nice things about the SLC location.

Edit: response to owner. I’ve requested your form multiple times, still haven’t received it, will you be charging me next month as well? Confirmed in person multiple times that I was cancelled. Was told that my form appears to be completed and I’m cancelled. Called, told I’ve been cancelled.

I may change my review after our first class. They called and left a VM at 10:19 am on the day of the class to cancel our reservation, since my child was the only one enrolled. We were looking forward to the class, we should not be penalized if only one student t signs up. Seriously a 10 minute notice. I’ll give them another try, but not sure after this experience.

We were going to cancel because we're out of town a lot during the summer but they told us we could pause for 3 months. We asked them multiple times to pause our account and then they billed us anyway.

On top of that we had multiple occasions where we'd show up for class and there was no staff there.

The class itself was great (when they showed up) but their management is really poor.

We've been going on and off for 3+ years now and while there has been quite a bit of change in staff over time, they are always great which speaks to the good hiring and training practices of the business

My daughter had only tried the giggle worms class over a year ago and now that she's 3 we decided to get her in a class. First off they didn't know her name and a teacher came out to look at the roster and instead of asking me they called her Stella which was another girl's name my daughter is Selah (say-lah) and I went in there and they were yelling "Stella! Stella! Stella!" And I was like her name is selah? She didn't understand anything that was going because they teacher would tell them what to do and not do the actual movements. Which I get they're not all these amazing gymnasts but you're expecting a 3 year old that's never been in this class to do what you're asking and then getting upset when she doesn't know what to do???? The front desk girl went in to help selah and I was thankful for that. But we pulled her out because the teacher was just being so unfair to her. Even my husband who is not as sensitive as I am was like no no I'm getting her out of there. We called the draper location and told them what happened and what we were looking for. They have been extremely kind. Sad I wasted money on this place.

We love coming to the Little Gym. My daughter is 2 and has been going for a couple of months. Since attending she's learned to balance on the beam, forward rolls and is working on jumping. It's also great for socialization and learning to take turns, ect. Plus the teachers are fun, the equipment is exciting and its very clean!

We started bringing our baby when he was just 16 months, and in the two months we’ve been to classes, he’s already learned so many new skills that make his everyday play/motor skills so much better. He absolutely loves it, and the teachers are amazing in showing all the children attention in helping them learn their skills. I really wish we would have came sooner, but we’re definitely going to be bringing him for as long as we can. Thanks, Little Gym for teaching our sweet baby boy lifelong skills!

We joined little gym when my son was about a year old to give him a safe and soft space to help him learn to walk. It gave him the confidence to do just that and so much more. The social interaction with the amazing coaches and other children is great for him. He has learned so many valuable skills in the last two years. Every week is something fun, new and challenging. The staff is very accommodating, flexible, patient and fun! We love our time here and look forward to watching our son grow and gain confidence at Little Gym.

I’ve been taking my son since he turned one. Watching his confidence grow has been amazing. He has learned a lot of physical skills, but also he is not afraid to try things I would never have thought to teach him on my own. Added bonus, he gets so much energy out! He loves his teacher, and when the owner occasionally subs for classes you can tell he really knows his stuff and cares about what he is doing too, which is awesome.

The perfect way for our little one to get his energy out! I love that the classes have some structure and some free time. Even if your kiddo doesn’t want to participate in the structured part, they don’t mind if they just go run and play! The teachers are excellent!

We’ve been going to little gym for over a year now and my daughter absolutely loves it! Andrea is the best teacher and my daughter has grown so much in strength and confidence from these classes! We started with the baby class and now in the toddlers and have never had a boring day in class. Since moving to Utah it’s been the best thing we’ve done for our 3 yr old and she’s made so many friends. 10/10 recommend taking a class

My daughter loved this place for the first couple of classes, but after that it got to the point that there was a different teacher almost every time and kids were always coming and going so she would make a friend and then they’d be gone next class, just seems that there is a lot of turn around for staff and families. Her last class, she fell off the balance beam and landed on her arm, they walked her out and got us an ice pack and we left. It ended up that she broke her arm when she fell and I never got a phone call from any staff members checking up on her, making sure everything was okay, nothing. The only phone call I got was asking if we were going to pay the bill. Definitely made us feel like it was the money that mattered, not the kids. Unfortunately she was required to be out of gymnastics for 6 months so we cancelled our membership and will be going elsewhere when she is ready to go back.

We love this place! Braden, AJ, and Keslie are all amazing with my 2 year old. She's made friends and learned how to share, walk the balance beam, play in the rings, the bars, etc. We highly recommend this place! It's worth every cent. Every employee is very knowledgeable and great with all the kids. Love this location!

I have been bringing my 1 yr. old grandson. He's had classes with Mr. Braeden, the owner, and Miss Keslie. They are both so good at what they're doing. They clearly enjoy watching and helping the children grow. The classes help develop social, emotional, and physical skills. There's a great balance of guided structure and freedom to explore. We just signed up for the full school year session and I'm confident it will continue to be a positive part of each week!

BIRTHDAY BLAST: If you are on the fence about having your birthday party here, I say dive in! My husband and I had the best experience for my son's 2nd birthday party. We had kids from 2 - 6yr old in our group and everyone one of them had the best time.

Ally and AJ were AMAZING. Despite having another party end minutes before, they were energized, caring, and so much fun. We were astounded by their ability to commanded the room. They alternated between planned activities and free play. They transitioned the kids seamlessly! Even the adults had a great time!

Ally was so attentive before and during the party. She helped us plan everything and gave valuable suggestions on the menu (we had the Pie delivered) and more. She put together wonderful Lego themed activities as well as helped set up the party room for us.

AJ was an incredible birthday leader. My son is very slow to warm up to anyone, but not with AJ. He had him laughing, trying new things, and feeling all the importance a birthday boy should. They both made each boy feel special and that they were given personal attention.

I can't say enough how pleased we were with the Little Gym of Cottonwood Heights. They truly care about what they do and the people they encounter. It was worth every penny!

Just getting started with my -3yr old. She loves it, they change the set up of the gym and activities every time so it's a new experience to them. It's a perfect fit for intro to many different things like gymnastics dance and sports. The Little Gym of Cottonwood Heights is in a quiet corner, just by where we live. The teachers are so good with kids as one would expect. I do recommend the classes for little ones of all abilities.

I would strongly recommend the drop in class approach if you decide to do it. My son and I have been visiting The Little Gym in Cottonwood Heights since he was a year. We became members hoping to use this as a great activity and quickly released it was very difficult to make up missed classes. We stayed enrolled since it is one of the terms in order to use the class and here we are not able to transfer the make up classes or go to a different location. I have 21 make up classes (paid $449.50) and have had to email them to terminate the membership (calls do not count).

Best private BIRTHDAY place.
We just celebrated my little ones big day a week ago here. I had a debate on where to have it, and was so happy that we chose here! The little gym staff was wonderful at setting up, taking down, and giving you all the attention since you get the whole place for your party. The stress of tracking down kids, worrying about keeping everyone together, and if the parents are going to stay or not, is all gone. Especially when your party package allows 15 kids (more for an extra cost). During the gift process, they even keep track of what each gift was and who brought it. After they even helped carry gifts to our car. What a great place for a winter birthday.

I just have to share that when my daughter returned back to school this year, she had a very hard time focusing and paying attention in class. She was very energetic and couldn't sit still, so we decided to put her into a dance gymnastics class at this location, and it has been well worth it! Her teacher at parent teacher conference last Thursday said she has completely changed into a whole new student, since 3 weeks ago, and that is exactly when she started her gymnastics class! She absolutely loves it and the teachers here are so great. I have never seen my child smile as much as she does in her dance-gymnastics class! Thank you guys for helping her find a way to release her energy and sharpen her focusing lens! You guys are so awesome! #happychild #happymom #HappiestHandStands

My one year old and I just got back from a free trial class. He had so much fun! He is close to walking, but hasn't done it yet. While we were there, he was so excited to do things, that he was letting go and taking steps. Even after one class, his control was improved! He loved hanging on the bars and doing flips. He was hesitant at first, but then loved playing with all the kids and especially loved the teacher. By the end he was following him around, wanting to get his turn on everything. This is so good for their social skills, confidence, and gross motor control. They also do rhythm exercises and practice bouncing balls. There is singing, walking on the balance beam, and free time to explore. I have never had do much fun watching my little guy play. He thought it was so great! This is definitely a great place and worth the price!
