What a disappointment! It seems like a very chaotic situation to arrive at the location and be told that the place is closed for a private party. We received a flyer from the school to go to the mother-child event, my son was super excited, and when we arrived we were faced with this nonsense. It was canceled because there was a private party πŸ˜‚ The place doesn't have any name on the front of the building, I had to ask other people where it was, and when I arrived I found a huge line of indignant mothers. Sorry, we had a problem, we are directing everyone to the Sandy City location πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ It was my first and last time in this place, I definitely do not recommend it.

This place is an amazing gym. Most of the coaches for the classes are actual American Ninja Warriors. And the courses are made as copies of parts from the actual show.

Looks cool until you start trying some of the things. You would think they would have laid out like an actual course rather than random holds that are jerry-rigged to some bars (holds that are tied with ratchet straps instead of bolted in). Waiver is there for a reason… not very many safety precautions so play at your own risk. Friend was attempting the bar maze. The bar came out and he fell 10 feet, I was standing by for support and the bar hit me right on the head causing a fairly deep cut. Should have a stopper in place to keep the bar from falling out and a built in crash pad.
Some things are fun to try but.. not what you would think. I recommend the ninja course at Low’s Extreme instead.

My son has really enjoyed his 6-7 year old class there. He has gone every week for 4 months and the equipment is professional and top notch. When you sign up for classes, you also get a pass to open gym times which can be used in Lehi or Sandy. It’s different from a ninja class at a gymnastics place because the whole gym is dedicated to having the proper equipment and all the coaches are good at the sport and know what they are doing. They are very young but very skilled!

You can do private lessons for $50 or rent out the gym for a party.

The class is a bit casual, but also very fun and I think the older the son gets, the more he will learn. At this age, they are learning how to swing from one obstacle to another, balance, and run up the slide thing ( I don’t know what it’s called 🀣) . The obstacles definitely seem geared towards older kids and I see the teenagers are very talented and have a great time so I think they’ve created a great community there.

My only recommendation for the business is to have someone greeting you when you walk in. It feels awkward to walk in on your first day and not know what to do or who to talk to. It seems like it would make sense to have the coaches waiting at the check in desk for 10 minutes before every class to greet everyone as they come in and check in new students.

The pricing is more than fair!

There's a reason why Utah cranks out so many American Ninja Warrior contestants and top level ninja athletes. This gym is that reason. If you're trying to learn new skills or take old skills to the next level, this is the place to go. You won't be disappointed

We've had our son attending the ninja warrior classes for several months now and I have observed quite a bit from this staff. They know their stuff, but in addition to that they are extremely patient with a bunch of rowdy ADHD kids who are probably there because they won't stop climbing on everything at home. My son has pretty severe anxiety and ADHD and they are so good with him while he quite literally bounces off the walls. Ninja Playground has become a real happy place for him and I hope he'll continue going.

I was hopeful that this place would be a good fit for my son who isn't a fan of team sports. It was also recommended by a neighbor. My son went two times and we were not impressed. The first time we went we weren't greeted when we walked in. The teenager that was there said our coach should be there any minute. That coach didn't greet us. I had to go find her to tell her my son was new in the class. Unfortunately when you sign up you pay for a month. I emailed about that. I wish they offered a free trial class to make sure my child would like it. Whoever answers the emails asked what could have been different. When I emailed my concerns there was no response. We went a second time and my son wanted to change groups to work with the adult not the teenager, but they wouldn't let him. The place seems chaotic and I really think the people working there should have ninja playground shirts so you know who works there. My son does not want to go back, so I feel like it was a waste of money.

Not a horrible experience but illuminating. First month is not bad but in no ways impressive. My child really has fun. He is doing a lot because it is a playground setting. The person in charge of the class is not engaging at all. The last 3 times I have seen him, half the class he is around the kids the other times goofing off or doing his own thing. When he is around the kids, he isn't trying to improve form, technique, or participate with the kids. The only reason my boy might still keep coming here is because he has fun on the equipment. With the staff member here currently I would advise anyone to stay clear away from him if you want someone to be involved in your child's learning or biomechanics. If you don't mind the lack of involvement and just need time away from your kid, this works.

This facility is great. We love this place. We were there this time for a bday party. The employee working that day I am sure is great but the day we were there must of been an off day for them because they weren't engaging with customers and had to search them out to buy some chalk. Found them outside talking to their significant other almost the entire time and about half of the time they were outside.

The time was up for us and the next party arrived and while we were all departing we barely got a thank you. Hopefully they went in to greet the next party who had already arrived.

Hopefully that employee doesn't have another off day again. As a parent, business owner, partner in a business I understand the importance and necessity it is to have employees that care for your customers and make them feel appreciated a priority. Customers are the reason that we get to be in business and give employees a job. It s always a blessing when we get to have employees that hold our same values.

Thank you for the place you offer. It's great!

It seemed a lot of equipment wasn't available. My son who is athletic had a hard time knowing what to do and the staff wasn't very helpful.. This place is definitely not for the faint of heart- but if you’re the type that loves to climb and has great upper body strength, this is the playground for you! There were a few balancing exercises, but most rely on your arms. There was a bathroom, some tables and chairs for eating and/or observing, and plenty of cushion under each area. As a SAHM that doesn’t work out regularly, there wasn’t as much that I could do :)

We haven't been thrilled with the level of instruction our son has gotten here. The teacher is good with kids, but often spends time looking at his phone or just playing on the equipment by himself. I feel like we could play for a free play pass and get the same level of benefits as we are now.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! My family and I came to the open house and were addicted immediately. The place is clean and professional. The obstacles are challenging for adults, but not so much so that my children are able to complete many of them. My son wanted to come here for his birthday. We took a 10, 7,8, and 5 year old. When I first walked in and saw all the intimidating equipment, I didn't think we would last more than 30 minutes. However, after 2.5 hours I was quickly proven wrong! Even though my kids couldn't actually properly use a lot of the playground, they found ways to have fun by climbing on everything imaginable, swinging off ropes and other equipment, jumping onto the mats, and having a blast. Braxton was so kind. He helped to modify some of the obstacles for my five year old, and kindly helped my oldest boys as well (one has delayed motor skills and was struggling a bit). He also instructed my kids how to use the equipment and helped them conquer intimidating obstacles. Many employees of similar places just sit behind the desk, but Braxton was hands on and made our experience so much better.

My kiddos LOVED this place and walked out good and tired begging to come back! If you're kid getting hurt gives you anxiety, you may want to send them with someone else though! What my kids loved most is they could try any/everything their hearts desired! Think free range play, crazy fun energy with equipment that won't break (even with grownups) and all with the hidden benefit of exercise! Only reason I didn't mark 5 stars- because it can get pricey if you have 4 or more kiddos!

At the opening there were lots of people of course but you could see the trainers who have competed before and testing out the obstacles. There is just one bathroom for male, one for females. It does give you a sense of achievement when you conquer an obstacle. Great new workout and training facility to develop your ninja skills. This is a great activity for most age and skill levels. I don't recommend it for children under 3 years though, more training and coordination is required. They have training courses and coaches to train and help complete the challenges you have seen on the television show Ninja Warrior Challenge.
