Such amazing genuine dance teachers. Full of upliftment and positivity. I'm taking the adult class with different genres as a brand new dancer and it has been so much fun, challenging, but so fun. Grateful for all they do! The building is clean and beautiful. I'm getting ready to enroll my son here as well.

My daughter started dancing with The Refinery (having never danced before) two years ago and they have taught her so much in a short period of time! She loves the teachers, the studio, the competitions, and her friends, and she is already beginning pointe. This is the most warm and welcoming group—both inside and outside the studio—and they have truly made her shine. We love The Refinery!

This is a very inclusive studio (body positive). Ryann, the owner, is great. Some of the other choreographers don’t really challenge the dancers. I’d love to see more challenging/emotional choreography—really give the dancers something to chew on so they can see progress in their own dancing. Overall, my daughter has really enjoyed her time at Refinery and is feeling inspired to continue dancing at the studio.

I have been dancing here for a little over four years now, and I can't even begin to find the words to express how truly amazing this studio is. The Refinery has such a positive and supportive atmosphere for dancers of all ages, the studio is a place where anyone can come learn and gain qualified training in various styles of dance without feeling judged. All the staff is truly amazing and are able to provide the necessary training a dancer needs while also building the dancers confidence. Over the years the Refinery has become a second home for me and so many others because of the fantastic job the staff does at making the studio such a positive and judgement-free place for everyone so dancer can really flourish and make meaningful connections with the people around them. The Refinery is truly one of a kind.

We have been going to The Refinery Academy of Dance for almost 8 years. My daughters have both loved every dance instructor. The instructors are welcoming, positive, and have my dancer’s best interests at heart. We’ve been part of the competition teams for the last 4 years and I’ve seen tremendous growth in my dancer, and she has made lifelong friendships. This is a place where she feels comfortable, loved, and is given room to grow and learn at her pace. I can’t recommend the refinery enough!

We can't say enough good things about the refinery. My daughter started dancing there when she was 2 years old and is now 6 and on one of their competition teams and she has found her passion. The dance teachers/mentors are very knowledgeable and trained in all genres, and motivate the students to excel by giving them many different dance opportunities and establishing set expectations. We LOVE the Refinery. The teachers are great with my sometimes moody threenager and she loves all her fiends there. They also have a great opportunity with their fundraisers where half or all the money that you raise goes towards your dancer to help out with monthly payments. 🤍

Easily the best choice for a dance school in Heber City for your little one! The refinery academy of dance quickly became my child’s favorite hobby as a little toddler, now that they are in elementary school they have developed into an amazing dancer thanks to her instructors at The refinery academy of dance! My child feels so loved by her instructors at this amazing dance studio and they motivate her to try her best while dancing! From the director to the amazing instructors, their professionalism is incomparable. Our dancer has been here for 4 years and looks forward to every class with excitement! Both of my daughters are on competition teams at The Refinery and they absolutely love it here! The teachers are amazing and truly love the girls. The camaraderie between the girls is heart warming. The refinery is home to me I love it so much all the teachers and girls are so nice! The teachers always find ways to work with us dancer and find a solution to whatever the problem is! I’ve improved in my dancer so much in the past few years dancing here it definitely worth it!

Edit: I only received an email back after posting this review. Saying I was credited 20 dollars to my daughter's dance account which doesn't do me any good since my daughter doesn't want to go back. And make note that i was only credited back after calling them out on the SWEATPANTS AND SWEATSHIRT CROP TOP i was overcharged for.

After posting this review there have been fake 5 star reviews made to push this to the bottom!

Dont waste your time!!! I have Over paid for multiple costumes that should only cost 20 dollars at most and was charged 60.00 for them (walmart clothes). The owner confirmed she would reimburse the funds and has now ghosted my email. Hip hop teacher taught class sitting down and almost never stood up to actually teach the dance. I Will not be going back to the Refinery. You'll be better off at wasatch dance or intensity dance. Don't waste your time here!

I am so impressed with this Dance Academy. I have gone to 3 of their dance recitals and I the girls did a great job. It is a great environment with teachers who truly care about the dancers and want the best for them. They teach skills and develop the kids from where they are at. Super impressed with the choreography of their hip hop, tap, and ballet. Great studio. Definitely worth it.
