My favorite dance studio ever! I learned so much as a student at the Ridge, both dance skills and life skills. The environment is so uplifting and positive and I am so grateful for my time as a dancer at the ridge. Both the teachers and the other girls I danced with were always so positive and cheered me on. I was able to make my highschool drill team thanks to the all that I learned at this studio. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a dance studio where their child will be loved and supported and grow astonishingly as a dancer.

My daughter has danced at the Ridge for 10 years. She has loved every minute of it. She has had great instructors, and has always felt loved and valued. There has also been very little drama, which as her father I really appreciate. When there has been issues between dancers, I feel the teachers and owners have dealt with it quickly in a way that protects the girls and restore the culture to positivity.

Over the years my daughter had lots of other options but she decided to stayed at The Ridge because she feels like they are a family there!

The ridge offers very good instruction and opportunities, for a price that is lower than other dance studios in Utah county. It’s a great value!

Thank you everyone at the Ridge, we are happy Georgia still has a couple more years at The Ridge!

Wow! The studio really improved so much this year! The new owner expanded the space, hired great teachers, and raised the bar on the quality of instruction. Several competition teams won 1st place at their competitions! I am very impressed with the new owner.

My daughter was on a competition dance team at the Ridge for years but we finally had to remove her from the academy due to the toxic environment created by the owner Tricia and the dance coach Jackie. The two of them have a disregard for the safety and well being of the dancers by allowing the dancers to be bullied and intimidated by aggressive teachers (Jackie) and members of the teams. Jackie the dance teacher participates in gossip with team members, Tricia the owner, and others. Jackie on multiple occasions singled out girls on the team and belittled them in front of Ridge Dance staff and students for private concerns and issues that were brought to her attention. This created and continues to create great anxiety and stress for current team members and the girls that have left the team recently. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism, proper management, and disregard for the emotional and physical safety of the girls at the studio. This team has an extremely aggressive member that treats others very poorly, screams obscenities, and intimidates the girls. These concerns were brought to the attention of Tricia after attempts to address this with Jackie the instructor were not helpful. Tricia acknowledged that she gives this member a “free pass” in these situations. Tricia acknowledged that she should not do this, but the situation was never addressed. We felt our concerns were never addressed or even properly acknowledged by the Ridge ownership or instructors resulting in multiple girls leaving the studio. We have had had years of positive experience with this studio but unfortunately when ownership changed the quality of the program changed drastically in a negative way as well.

Nothing but good things to say about this dance studio. The people who run it feel more like family. They go above and beyond to build up the girls… but as a parent, I feel like it’s been money well spent as the girls are pushed to improve their technique and skill. My girls have improved each year and love the other dancers they compete with. The dancing environment is positive with a work hard attitude. We love this studio and I’ll never take my girls anywhere else.

My daughter started dancing with The Ridge the first year they opened. She has had nothing but the best experience. We consider the teams and staff family. She not only has improved in dance, but has learned many life skills. We love The Ridge Academy of Dance!
