The Ridge feels tucked away even though it’s right in the city—rolling hills and mature trees make it surprisingly peaceful. The back nine has some elevation changes that give you cool views of the valley. Greens are smooth and have subtle breaks that make putting interesting. Staff is incredibly nice and keeps the pace moving without being pushy. The patio has misters in summer and fire pits when it’s cooler. Feels like a hidden gem that locals don’t want to share.

Great helpful staff and a well-maintained course.

I was there to help out at a golf tournament. They had plenty of course staff at check-in to make sure everyone was taken care of. They were really helpful to the tournament organizers as well and ready to assist with hole sponsorship adjustments.

Can’t wait to actually play the course sometime.

One of my favorite courses, hands down! The Ridge has a super fun layout with a great mix of holes. The pace of play was smooth (no waiting around), the views are stunning, and the conditions were dialed in. Best part? I shot my best round ever here (10+, LFG). Amazing value for the experience you get. This place is a hidden gem, definitely will be coming back for another go at greatness.

Haven't been able to golf this place, I want to golf another course for fun but I got no one to go with. Currently I can't book a tee time on the website for 1 person, I guess I can only book one for at least 2 people. That's pretty lame, I also have to make a specific login for this golf course to even try to make a tee time. That's all pretty weird and lame no need for another login to add to the thousands of accounts companies try to get you to sign up for. Seems like I can't easily try to get on as a solo to get 9 or 18 in. Not mad just pretty weird and gate keep type of vibe.

Moved to the Magna area and was excited to live very near to the ridge and stonebridge. Unfortunately I’ve only managed to play 9 holes alone at stonebridge and never a round at the ridge. I open up the tee times THE MINUTE they open up and there’s never any 4 people tee times for 18 holes before 11am. I call and they claim “there’s an event”, “a league”, or “they fill up quick”. I’ve tried on 3 occasions to book a round for my friends and I and never can a round in at a decent time that still gives us time afterwards to enjoy our day. I’ve never been disappointed at a place I’ve never played at but now I hate that these are the 2 places that are closest to me. Unless I play 9 holes alone or want to play 18 in the middle of the day with my friends it’s worth driving clear across town instead to play another course.

Had my wedding at the Ridge yesterday and was amazed by the staffs! Sandra was super helpful and transparent regarding prices. Ashley was so on top of everything, she responded to our emails quickly and kept checking on us and our families during the ceremony. Shane was also super helpful and make sure everything went smoothly. It was a perfect day and we appreciate the staffs so much!

Booked a foursome the night prior, all the guys in our group come from different ends of the valley, drive 45 minutes to get there. We show up this morning and the course is closed, we got no email or notice. To short notice to book anywhere else, I wouldn’t book again.

Never once was told by the clubhouse or anyone else it’s cartpath only. Eventually some worker from the clubhouse rides up on me and tells me it’s cart path only. I quickly apologize and oblige by moving my cart to a the nearest path but the guy insists on raising his tone and saying “the guys in the clubhouse told you it’s path only”, they didn’t. If you are going to make it cartpath only, either cut the price for carts in half or make it walking only. There’s zero reason I should pay a cart fee and hold everyone else back on the course because I’m walking 90 degrees to every shot I take. The city isn’t going to lose revenue on not charging for carts for the day, especially considering the players pass is 50% more than it used to be.

I want to love this place, I really do. The value of the player pass is amazing but, this course is just so poorly run. If the mowers are out while you’re playing, they completely ignore you and it’s up to you to go around them. Tee times fill up all the time but, they have no shows left and right. The cherry on top was showing up to play and being cancelled for snow. You take my email address during the reservation, USE IT and let me know you’re closed. Drove all the way from Herriman where there was no snow or frost this morning to be turned away.

First round of the year.
First time here.
Just started golfing last year 40M 26 handicap.
Have really no complaints.
A nice open course with great views.
Heads up hit with a 20-30mph wind today that definitely messed with distances and making my slice WAY worse.
All that said, holy crap balls drove a 350yrd green on #8?. Thank you wind, and the downhill slope. Probably the best shot I'll ever hit lol.
The grass is coming back from winter but still taken care of. All the holes were pretty straightforward. 3 i think is the only one where you want to keep left since there isn't much room right and you can't see the fairway behind a ridge.

Heads up a lot of goose\duck crap everywhere. That's probably only caution but that's not their fault.

Just was sick for the week and found out they released the players pass early to the public and didn’t give last years customers the option to renew their pass prior to giving it out to the public and now they are all sold out. Not sure who is organizing this but sounds like someone else needs to be handling that job to provide a better service. Went every weekend last year and gave them thousands or dollars to play but now because I was sick I’m screwed? What a joke, I will not be coming back to this course ever again. What terrible service!

Hate to leave this review, but quite annoyed. Love the course and it is in great shape. However, I have a tendency to leave behind things by accident. Last year I left my magnetic Bluetooth speaker on the cart here. Called and went back to get it and they “didn’t have it”. This past week I left my magnetic range finder on the cart. Called and they “didn’t have it.”
I realize it’s my fault and not their obligation to take care of left behind stuff, but I’ve left things countless times(I play a lot) at other golf courses and they ALWAYS have put it away and make sure it gets returned to me.
Again love the course but unfortunately won’t be back, just doesn’t sit right with me.

This is an update to a previous less positive review.

The course has definitely made an effort to improve its customer service. A few years ago I had some bad experiences with scheduling tee times as a single and wanting to walk over riding. Over the last year, I’ve only had positive experiences and they’ve lifted the ban on solo golfers scheduling tee times! Occasionally the tee system hiccups but when it does I’ve been comped a free round or had it made right in other ways. Great job guys on constantly improving!

I love this course, it’s not the longest but the layout, green complexes, and tee shots reward accuracy and good short game. It’s always one of the best manicured course with smooth greens and well cut fairways. Views of the valley are wonderful, I fully recommend.

One of my favorite courses. Improved hole layout from the old "West Ridge". Many fun and memorable holes, like the par 5 #13 over water. The only negatives about this course are the difficulty getting a tee time, and the crazy afternoon winds. The long par 4 #2 into the wind is crazy sometimes. Seriously, sometimes the wind is strong enough to push your ball off the green. Pace of play isn't usually an issue, but prepare for 4.5 hours. I don't know why anyone would want to walk this course, but it is allowed.

Clubhouse prices are a bit steep, but that is offset by the cheapest green fees for a nice course in the valley. Staff is very accommodating as well. The driving range can be fun if the wind is at your back.

The Ridge Golf Course (Westridge to us old timers) is a pretty simple and fairly short course, unless it's a real windy day, then be prepared for why they nicknamed it "wind-ridge". A lot of fun to play with your wife, since it is pretty fair to the ladies. It is usually pretty busy, so I definitely recommend getting a t-time, even if there is only one or two of you golfing. Great staff, awesome food, and a lot of fun.

The Ridge is my favorite golf course to play in the valley. Fair prices, consistent greens, good pace of play is encouraged, and great service as well. Couple Saturdays ago another golf course screwed my group over and it was a beautiful day, we really wanted to play. I called almost every course in the valley and they all turned me away. I called the ridge and explained my situation and a gentleman in the proshop named Cody hooked me and my buddies up. He gave us a time in-between a couple other tee times and sent us out. I can not overstate my gratitude. It was pretty much the only time my group could get out to play and he saved our day! Thank you The Ridge Golf Club and thank you Cody! This lack luster course is met with improper signage and less then stellar staff. The cart will die on you IF you don’t stick to proper cart paths, but there is no signage outside of the cart screen and no one explains that to you. This cart failure is also inconsistent. As i was following my party, my cart died but theirs didn’t. I will never come here again.

Terrible place to golf. I went last Sunday and it was a terrible experience. Everyone front the from desk, to the clubhouse, to the angry old man on the cart going hole to hole yelling at everybody. If you want a nice fun day of golf, do not come here. It might have something to do with the way I look but I was not treated right. The first thing was when I went to pay greens fees and the guy said "Are you here to play golf?" and then when I said yes he interjected and said "well you have to have a tee time to play." Which I had.... it was just a weird experience.
Anyway, I won't be back.
