I have been at this karate dojo since last September and it has been an awesome experience! Eversince I came to the dojo, I've gotten stronger mentally and physically. Sensei Brandon makes learning super fun, while still getting the information we need into our heads. I really love the people at this dojo, they're so welcoming and fun to be with, it feels like a big family! I'm glad I have something to look forward to during the week. Definitely a 5 star experience!!😁

I am a student at Tiger Den Dojo and I absolutely love it there! It is such a fun good environment to be in but you are still able to really learn how to get out of your comfort zone, learn how to work hard, and in the process you are supported and loved by all your peers around you and everyone is always willing to help one another as well! I am a teenage girl and Sensei Chambers has helped me with my self confidence and he has believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. He pushes you to be the best you, because he sees the best in you. I love it at Tiger Den Dojo and I am so grateful to be apart of their family!

My son initially enjoyed the program. Recently however, he has come home upset. The sensei has started yelling at him, has no patience with him and recently told him he “doesn’t get to have turns since he cheated.” (He opened his eyes during a game. He’s 5.) We pulled him out of this program and would not recommend it if you have an energetic or boisterous kid. If you have a well disciplined child who consistently listens well however, this program is likely a great fit. It just wasn’t for us.

Tiger Den Dojo has been such a great place for my two sons who are in the tiny tigers class. They have learned so much and have grown even more! One of my sons was so shy and scared, Sensei Chambers was patient and worked with him, now he’s one of the first ones in class! I love how much their confidence has grown in such a short time with Karate. And It’s fun to see them work hard at it because they love it so much! This is a great Karate class for kids and we hope to be long time members.

We love sensei chambers! Our son wanted to be a ninja so we were looking for somewhere to send him and picked tiger den because of its good reviews. Our son struggled quite a bit with basketball, so we were worried that sports wouldn’t work out for him but from the first class he was hooked. The pace for tiny tigers is perfect for him while also providing a challenge that he can work and get better. We loved it so much that we recommended it to all our neighbors, and signed our daughter up as soon as she turned 3 as well. She loves it too. We plan to be here for a long time!!

Glad to have been led to this dojo. Both my Daughter and I take classes here and the teachers here are kind and understanding of both kids and adults. I’ve gained muscle and lost weight and inches through their guidance. Looking forward to retesting in August.

Love Tiger Den Dojo! My boys and I attend classes here. For my boys it’s a great way to keep them active and learn discipline and have goals to work toward. For me it’s a great way to get exercise that’s an alternative to going to a boring gym!

Tiger Den Dojo was exactly what my child needed! He loves the classes, Sensei and classmates. He loves all aspects of the community: teaching younger/earlier students and being in Springville's Grand Parade.

I love the way Sensei teaches respect and honor but isn't a drill sergeant about it. He has lots of fun games to play to get them in shape. The payments system is transparent and easy to understand, too. Highly recommend taking them up on their free first class to see if it works for you, too!

This review might get a little long, so I won't bury the lede... I think Tiger Den Dojo and its owner, Sensei Brandon chambers, are absolutely fantastic as both a parent of someone in the class, and someone who joined the class themselves after seeing how good it was for my son. I highly recommend it for anyone of any age.

While I was looking for a good karate dojo for my son, we did the free trial classes at a bunch of local dojos, and didn't ever quite find what we were looking for until Tiger Den. It's easiest to describe why Tiger Den is so good by describing what it's NOT in comparison to other local karate places.

Tiger den is NOT a belt factory: It was strange going to other Dojos and seeing quite little kids with rather advanced belts, and the owners of those places also saying to me that my 5 year old will also be able to quickly advance through the belt ranks (faster if we gave even more money!). Tiger Den, in contrast, has pretty firm requirements for belt advancement, which is exactly what we were looking for. When you get a belt advancement with Tiger Den, it MEANS something.

Tiger den DIDN'T just give me a sales pitch. With one of the other dojo's trial class, we got pulled into a private room (so we couldn't see the real class) and got a demo lesson that ended with a sales pitch that rivaled a timeshare application. In contrast, Tiger Den's trial classes was exactly what we would get with the real thing, my son instantly integrating with the other kids and I got to see exactly what my son would do each day.

Now let's talk about what Tiger Den Dojo IS.

Tiger Den Dojo is fair with its pricing. No signing up for years long contracts, you pay month-by-month at an incredibly fair price.

Tiger Den Dojo is REAL. Within 10 minutes of being there in the first trial class, my son was grabbed hard by the shirt and told to get out, both by the Sensei and another student. This is EXACTLY what I was hoping for with Karate, a place where my son has to learn how to keep his cool when things don't go his way, how to be calm under pressure, and how to get back up when he gets knocked down. This Dojo Does that.

Like I mentioned before, I was so impressed with how Sensei Chambers and Tiger Den Dojo worked with my son that I signed up for their adult classes myself. It has been an incredible experience for me, and I have loved every minute.

If you are looking for a karate Dojo for your kid, look no further, this place is incredible and will teach them not just karate lessons but life skills

If you are looking for a karate Dojo for yourself, look no further, this place is incredibly motivating for me to get in shape and have fun doing so.

Having worked with Brandon Chambers in personal and business matters, I have always found him to be mindful and considerate about others, always checking in and clarifying information and instructions and is attentive to my comfort and safety whenever I have worked with him in a group or alone. He earnestly sought my opinion, as a woman, what he could do to make his teaching style respectful and how to better create an atmosphere that any student would be comfortable in.

Having earned a black belt in another style I think it is very generous of Brandon to teach the basics of karate in his own style at such an affordable rate.

He is also generous with his time allowing me to consult him pro bono for a college project that will contribute to the preservation of Navajo History.

Anyone would be lucky to study under Brandon as their sensei.

My son started at this dojo in April. His ADHD was off the charts at that point and he had a hard time finding inclusion in traditional sports. Karate has done wonders for his focus, coordination, and overall self-confidence! I am so impressed with how Sensei Chambers works with kids who struggle and helping them succeed. As an adult student, it's scary to start new things. I loved TDD and especially Sensei Brandon Chambers -- he immediately made me feel comfortable on Day 1 and that feeling never changed. He's enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and a patient teacher.

The adult class is a great place for beginners and those with martial arts experience alike (and a huge shout out to McKell in the adult class!).

I started karate as a way to relieve stress as I studied for the bar, and I was able to accomplish that and advance 3 belts in just a few months!!

When I signed my daughter up for a short summer course of Karate, I thought she would enjoy it but ultimately choose to go back to dance or gymnastics instead. However, she loves the thrill of knowing she's learning the moves to "defeat villains". (Note that her sensei does NOT encourage her to go out and find these villains to fight though. He also is very clear that we do not practice on friends and family.) Brandon made it fun for her and brought it to her level so she would learn the techniques correctly and made sure not to hurt herself. Now she wants to do karate everyday (unfortunately it's only available Tuesday through Thursday) after school.

This dojo is in a small studio and is just starting out. We will be watching it grow for sure, but the instruction is good quality and everyone is safe. I've seen Brandon take an interest in his students and even adapt his instruction to accommodate special needs. He does a great job and my daughter says it's worth 5 stars, so that's the score I'll give it. Boys and girls love these classes, so come try it out!
