We have had a membership at the Training Zone for our son for a while now and recently tried the Shot Camp. It was such great experience and really allowed him to get some personalized help and also help him build his confidence. Matt’s follow up after the camp was also very impressive. The training sessions with Coach Will have also been really helpful. He is so great with these kids and you can tell that they really care about these kids. We love Training Zone!!

The Training Zone has provided a great experience for our daughter. She loved working with Lexi and Matt. Lexi had well planned training sessions. She also sent weekly drills which has increased her confidence. Matt helped her improve her form and shooting skills. She feels ready and excited for the upcoming season!

We love training zone. Our daughter has been working out there for a while and loves the flexibility of booking time on the shot guns. She also had a fantastic experience at Shot Lab. She got personalized help on her shot over the course of the sessions. It’s very helpful in developing her as a player. We appreciate all Matt does to help these kids grow as athletes and people!

I have been a coach, referee and played basketball in the SLC area for over 25 years and I have never seen a more poorly/biased officiated game that what I just witnessed during a game today. I’m shocked there wasn’t an injury or an all out brawl from the lack of calls and favoritism from the refs. The refs didn’t even try to act impartial, it was mind blowing. Do better. We happend to catch a little of the game after us and they switched up one of the referees and the officiating was completely different. It was more than obvious that one of the previous referees was friends with the opposing team. Shameful.

We joined Training Zone two months ago and we can’t say enough positive things about this facility and staff! Matt greets my daughter by name each time we come in and not only that, he has come over a given her some tips on how she can improve her shot or what she can work on. My daughter just finished TZ first shooting clinic and I can already notice a different in my daughters form, something she has struggled with for years. The trainers are also top notch and push my daughter in great ways! We have been so impressed by everything Training Zone has to offer and can see us as long time members!

We HIGHLY recommend Training Zone if you have a young athlete looking to get better in a positive environment.

My daughter has been going to TZ since last summer ('24), and, we've been super impressed with how well they support the kids. The trainers are awesome with both the one-on-one training and the group sessions – it's a great mix for development.

Working with Matt specifically on her skills has made a real difference, especially throughout her freshman year of high school basketball. Plus, she loves being able to book hoops and the shooting guns so she can get extra practice in on her own. That's a big deal for her.

But honestly, the best thing about TZ is the vibe. Every time my daughter walks in (or really anyone), someone is smiling or saying hi – you can tell the coaches are genuinely happy to see the kids. That makes a huge difference for them (and for us parents!) to know that they are in a place where they feel welcome and supported.

As a retired college hooper, I can confidently say Training Zone is phenomenal. I wish I had access to a facility like this growing up. Not only do I use it as an athlete, but I’ve also attended several tournaments here (as a referee), and it’s clear they’re built to accommodate events seamlessly.

The accessibility, energy, and inclusivity at TZ are unmatched. Whether you’re training, competing, or just watching, the vibe is always positive and supportive. They truly go above and beyond to help athletes reach their full potential. Highly recommend!

Nice facility. Do yourself a favor…You should use your participations to avoid a lawsuit. Someone is going get hurt hitting those pickleball nets that you seem to be using as a divider.

The Training Zone allowed my group to host our tournament and the owners is what I would call a friend now. Amazing to work with and very helpful with everything and everyone. Our tournament couldn’t have ran any smoother. Excited to get back there again for our next tournament.

Love the Training Zone! This has been great for my daughter…. both access to the facility and the amazing coaches. She’s asking on her own to go multiple times a week to work with coaches and individually. Such a great asset to have in Herriman for athletes! Great accessibility and resources. The Training Zone is the best and great for all kids, no matter what skill level they are at!! My daughter has been training with Matt for 4 years and her growth/progress in that time has been amazing! Not only skills but overall basketball IQ! She loves this nice facility and top level coaches!
