My kids love going to the Treehouse daycare. Their staff is fun, organized, and they play games. This is one of my favorite benefits of this gym. My kids are happy so it’s easy to come workout.

I usually have a good experience with the gym and their childcare, but today left me feeling a bit uncomfortable. They called me a few times because my toddler needed a diaper change, but I didn’t see the missed calls right away since I was in the sauna and then showering. As soon as I noticed, I went straight to pick her up and change her.

When I got there, one of the staff told me my toddler had been in a dirty diaper for almost an hour and that next time I should change her first before taking a shower because “it’s not fair for everyone there.” I understand their frustration, but I honestly didn’t know they were trying to reach me — I would never intentionally leave my child uncomfortable.

It also felt a bit uncomfortable when I said thank you and the (childcare) front desk staff just responded with a cold “ok.” I left feeling like I had done something wrong, even though it was just a misunderstanding. I really hope the staff can communicate situations like this with a little more understanding next time — parents truly do care about their kids’ comfort too.

BEWARE OF THEIR CHILDCARE. Our son has been constantly bullied there over the last year by other children with no staff intervention. We have stated our concerns to management about lackluster care or any sort of involvement by staff and nothing has been done. Today for absolutely no reason a parent screamed at our child while they were picking up their kid, calling our child all sorts of names for absolutely no reason. The staff did tell us about the incident while we were picking him up but didn’t call us immediately. He sat at the childcare for an hour before we came to get him totally distraught by the incident. Unless they do proper childcare training it feels like we can’t trust this gym with our children’s safety. We pickup our kid most days and he is hysterical about how he was treated while under their care.

My original review of 5 stars was from Feb 2024. I have since changed my rating to 1 star as of June 2025. We have had a family membership for years. However, due to recent changes to their yoga schedule, we no longer see the value to justify the high membership costs. Yoga was a key part of what made the membership worthwhile for us, and the reduced offerings have left a noticeable gap in what used to be a more well-rounded experience. We are leaving Treehouse to find a better fit for our family and will save money in the process.

The kids have really enjoyed being able to swim year round and have recently gotten into the rock wall. There are so many different things for us to do as a family that our kids never get bored.

I’ve worked out at Treehouse for 5+ years now. The staff is friendly and the people there feel like family. No strange “bro” vibes or people hitting on each other, etc. Just good people that live around the area getting their workout in and enjoying being around friends. Good equipment, not GREAT, but fair. Could optimize their space better and bring in newer things more often, but I’m fine with with they provide. Clean locker rooms. My husband has been a member of treehouse (with his family) since it opened. He’s always been a huge fan but I couldn’t justify the price. When Vasa changed the price of their kidcare significantly we finally switched over to treehouse. We’ve never looked back. It is so clean, organized and well maintained but the amenities for kids are what we can’t leave. My kids love the kid care and actually have fun. Everyone who works at the gym is so nice. They also include 2 seasonal sports camp PER kid every quarter. While the price is high, we feel like they do their best to make it worth your money!

Just went today-amazing first experience!! Great daycare for the kids. Love that they separate the littles from the big kids and even a fenced area for the sleeping babies away from the toddlers. Love love love variety of classes! My big kids are obsessed with coming, they are also doing dance and karate here all included. I can’t believe how amazing this gym is. Love the steam room and hot tub. Love how clean it feels! Everyone seemed super friendly.

If I could put in requests….The womens locker room does not have a dry sauna but the mens does? However we do have a steam room and hot tub and it literally feels like I’m at a spa when I’m done with my workout.

would like to requests more afternoon classes (yoga dance barre cycle) so we can have slow mornings not rushing out and then we can head to the gym for fun afternoon for the kiddos and some mom downtime when I’m ready for a break haha.

Customer service is a stand out here. The people that work the front desk are incredible...probably make nothing but are always happy(so nice to walk into a gym and youre treated like family). Lilly goes beyond her job requirements and exuberates customer service.

Candace that runs the membership office, gets it! She understands what needs to happen in a gym and is expected from a gym. It's always nice when someone works a job that they are extremely passionate about and isn't there just for a job. The other girls that work in there are the same way!

Francisco is awesome at keeping everything in top shape in the men's locker room.

Don't get me started on daycare. Screw the gym or working out, the daycare is unreal with taking care of my kids. That service is worth its weight in gold and my kids always are asking to go. Truly, some angels work there.

At first site you may question it, but after a month of realizing it's life changing, you'll never quit being a member.

This gym is amazing. The staff is super helpful and always kind. The locker rooms are always well stocked and very clean! I take my two little ones to the daycare/nest area they have there basically everyday, and it’s seriously the best thing! The manager of the nest V seriously does an amazing job keeping everything in order with so many kids! She even plans fun days/ activities for the kids to do and it makes me feel like I’m dropping them off at preschool! She definitely loves kids and loves her staff because she does an amazing job.

I've been coming to this gym for over a year now and i absolutely LOVE it. Best athletic club in UT. Daycare is top notch, pool is great, tons of classes for anything you would want to do. I've gotten to know a few of the trainers and they are all dedicated to helping you acheive your fitness goals.

They recently added new equipment to their weight room and it is AWESOME! My wife who is 5'4 loves the new bench presses as she said it makes it easier, she actually hit a PR two days ago on their new bench press and she is ecstatcic. We both are excited about all their new machines and equipment they added.

For what you are getting at this club in regards to the new equipment, the ease of use and the friendliness of staff you cannot get any better. Might not be the cheapest gym in the world, but you see the value of what they offer as soon as you walk in the door. Absolutely worth it!

They recently have been replacing the equipment which is somehow worse then the old equipment. The new benches are too high off the ground to properly plant your feet. *I'm 5'9* The new cable machines are too low and not properly oiled which makes lifting with 2 sides impossible or extremely uneven. Me and multible members have brought this up to the staff in charge of the equipment and the owner for nothing to be changed or done. I will say this is definitely the cleanest gym in the valley, but with them uping the price every 6 months and newer gyms Popping up cheaper or the same price with a lot better equipment there's better places to workout

Was at the gym tonight when a rude employee (older woman with short brown hair) came to the pool and started yelling at a mom with her kids over an apparent misunderstanding about her buddy pass. It was so off putting and just embarrassing to see the staff act that way and treat a human being that way. They even called the cops on the mom to kick her out, just because she forgot to fill out her buddy pass. I mean, c‘mom. Is that really the kind of gym treehouse is? I’ve seen this happening lately a lot where employees and managers are treated members like complete garbage. Just really condescending and rude for no good reason. This used to be a classy gym but lately it’s hard to say one positive thing about it. Thinking of switching.

This is a good club that used to have a first class swim team. It has been taken over by Fish Market, a 3rd party private swim team that have few kids whose parents are even members of the club and do not take care of the facility. The old swim team was a fantastic way to socialize with other members, enjoy our facility with the whole family and enjoy the benefits of membership. Now a 3rd party takes over and operates a private venture that disregards the mission of the facility.

Also the spin bikes are old antiquated pieces of junk. The flywheel will hurt your knees.

It's a nice, clean facility. Very well maintained, plenty of towels, staff is friendly, men and women's locker rooms have private jacuzzi, steam room, sauna. Pool is also very well maintained. We love Treehouse! Took some time to get customed to it but the gym is nice, clean, and has a lot of stuff constantly working to keep things that way. We love the yoga classes here and mainly lift in the free weight area outside of that.
Treehouse was a bit warm before. When I brought this to their attention they were very quick to respond and fix the issue. Very pleased with their prompt and professional manner of handling this.

Beware..... my 17 year old son informed me that Treehouse had him sign a contract and wanted me to sign a liability form. I went in to ask them to refund his membership fees and sign up costs, as I was not willing to sign the liability form, nor did we agree to the contract. After speaking to the account rep and informing her that a 17 year old cannot sign a legal contract, the general manager was called in, and immediately was on defense becoming extremely unprofessional, not willing to do anything regarding this. Unfortunately this will have to go the legal route, which seems overboard for 214.00.

After this Manager and her child were both fired, I am sure this was not the first time this happened. I received a call from the new management and offered a full apology and my son a full refund. I hope that the new management sticks it out, looks like they are taking every step to rebuild their client base. My wife now has a membership and has been pleased with the staff.

Ive been going here for just over a year and was shocked at some of the changes they are making. I was told the other day that I shouldn’t take more than 1 sweat towel and was told that I couldn’t have my phone out while in the locker room. Not sure If I will continue to go here especially with how much they charge. I would recommend looking at lifetime fitness before deciding on tree house.

Hands down the BEST kids programming for young AND older kids (through 12)! Kids Fit program daily where they are led through fitness, stretching, then play games like tag, sharks and minnows and dodgeball. Summer camp and field trip options, pool! They actually play with the kids!! And the group fitness classes are amazing! Not enough space to mention all the wonderful things about this gym!! Facilities are amazing too.

My family and I loved going to this place. We recently just canceled because it was too expensive. Had to squeeze in a new car payment so threw the budget off. I think this place stays in business because there isn't another Gym like with the same amenities near by. I wish I could give a better review but I only have my signup experience to report. We were told a reasonable price and were excited to signup. When it came time to signup they were actually going to charge us $50 more than what was originally agreed upon. They wanted to charge us around $180 for a family of four. We are a family of three with our youngest being an infant who would only use the daycare area (which we were happy to pay for, they quoted us around $15 or so a month). They said that they would talk to the manager who originally quoted us the lower price and get back to us on Monday (it was a Friday afternoon). Its been 2 months and we just received our callback. We ended up going to lifetime where we are charged based on the amount of people in our family and the customer service was spot on.

Just signed up over a month ago. Facilities are great, clean and it’s NEVER overcrowded at peak times and this prolly has to do with how things are laid out. Men’s locker room is really clean and is not like other gyms where you feel you might need a tetanus shot after entering. No egos as well here from gym members, staff is friendly and greets you each day.

Love it here. Just joined three months ago. Have already met loads of enthusiastic, uplifting, and motivating people. The staff has always been helpful. The classes I’ve attended have been phenomenal. I work at my own pace, im in my 30’s, as I’m getting back into shape, and the instructors are supportive and full of great info. Also, the childcare is fantastic. My kids ASK to come to “kid fit” which makes me come exercise on days I was planning on slacking off. The kids area gives me time to workout and then have time to myself afterwards. I’ve even taken a child out, while others are still in the childcare, to spend some quality one on one time with him/her while at the gym! This gym has improved my quality of life, and that of my family, by 100%.

LOOOVE the Treehouse. I love the curlew, I love the worked (especially Tami) and I enjoy going there most mornings! I love that I can get ready there and pick up a snack if I need to. I have been at Treehouse now for almost 4 years. I even moved just over a year ago and now it's a little further for me but I continue to go to this gym. For me what sets this gym apart from others is the group fitness schedule. I love that there are multiple choices so I can mix up my routine and I don't ever get bored. I also appreciate all the amenities provided in the locker room.

I also LOVE the daycare. They work really hard to make it a fun place where kids want to come play. Whenever I watch the girls working there they are busy and involved with the kids. They are so friendly and say hello to my girls by name. I would highly recommend this gym, particularly if you stay home with your kids and need some time for yourself.

Where do I even start, we've been coming here for years. I have two children and the nest is incredible with your children. I've never been so motivated to work out with all the beautiful humans walking around. The staff is incredible the trainers are insanely amazing I had to trainers Nicole and Jason I highly suggest those two.

alot your work out equipment is dirty, it works well but needs deep cleaning. The drains in the bathroom have a bad smell. The cover on the pool goes up way too early and comes off too late. Nice place. I have enjoyed coming several times a week for the last 2 years. Oh yes, a ping pong table would be excellent!

I love the exercise machines I use them all in the winter (not the weight machines). I love the swimming pool which I use in the summer. I appreciate the free towels to be used. Sometimes some of the men's showers are on the fritz. The indoor Jacuzzi and the steam room are also great.

I've been loving this place for over 8 years. It only gets better with time. Raising the Barre, Barre Burn, Yoga Flow, Dave's Strenght and Undergroung: KB'S are my favorites! And as a bonus I have made good friends and met people from all over the world! Please continue to excel in the fitness business!

Price is steep but they do have a lot of amenities. Careful walking through the parking lot, it's amazing how many people in giant SUV's haul through it when there are kids walking everywhere.

I worked a promo here for yoga clothing recently and thought it was a super nice boutique club. All the staff was super nice. I loved the modern look of the place and really nice locker rooms... if I lived closer I'd definitely switch clubs!
They also have a smoothie bar, I got a peanut butter oatmeal spinach one and it was sooooo good!! They offer plant milks.

Visited Salt Lake from out of town for a week, needed a gym. Treehouse staff very accommodating, facility and group classes excellent. Couldn't be happier, very much recommend.

I absolutely love the tree house. It is very clean, and has everything you could ever need. Being able to steam room and hot tub after each lift (in a clean tub and steamroom) is extremely beneficial.

They messed up our family plan and said we didn't have an account. They also were rude about it when I tried to go work it out. Then when I ran back home to prove my payment and membership they never apologized for their mistake and acted egotistical.

The Treehouse Athletic Club is a wonderful all-around gym. There are so many options. All the equipment is tip top.
The private whirlpool and sauna is like a spa experience. I really enjoy the outdoor pool. I have a family membership and feel it is worth every penny! Member since 2011.

There are only two family locker rooms - and generally employees and other members use them to go to the bathroom, so when you get out of the pool with two soaking wet toddlers you have to wait and freeze and be miserable or walk down a slippery tile flight of stairs to get to a "teens" locker room. I would rather go to dimple dell for swimming.

Some of the members are really "clicky" and rude about holding space for each other in group classes. It does not feel welcoming to join the popular classes and there is no room for a newbie.

Personally, I like to lift heavy weights (deadlifts and squats) barefoot and this is not allowed for "liability" reasons.

Management pretends to want to hear your concerns, but immediately makes an excuse for every thing that goes wrong. Hot Tubs get filled with cold water right before rush instead of on a Sunday night - simple fix, but all you get is excuses as to why the hot tub is cold.

The place is really nice. But that should go without saying, because it's a very expensive club.

MY biggest beef was in that I charged WAY more than I was supposed to, and Treehouse Athletic Club was totally apathetic and rude when I brought up the issue. There was no refund of overcharged fees or even an apology.

Pretty weak sauce Treehouse Athletic Club. Pretty weak indeed.

I have been going to Treehouse for the last 10 years and have always been happy with my experiences. The gym is bigger than most and provides many amenities that the other guys can't, especially since they have recently refinished the workout floor with new carpet and flat screen TV's. It is always nice after a hard workout to go and sit in the steam room or sauna and then shower and clean up right after. The locker rooms are always kept nice and tidy with warm towels constantly being stacked. The staff is always responsive and friendly. All-in-all, Treehouse is a very nice fitness club with great equipment (and plenty of it), a clean locker room, and great staff. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a great gym!
